Thank you, Fili Hotel at NUSTAR Cebu, for making my mom’s 66th birthday truly unforgettable. From the warm welcome, birthday cake, and room upgrade to your exceptional hospitality, every detail made our family feel so special. It was a beautiful and memorable staycation for our senior parents and their grandkids. We’ll always treasure this experience.

The location is still acceptable as going everywhere is beyond easy reach with Grab. Although there are traffic jam, we are still able to reach a destination on time. This hotel is too security in the sense they scan all items when you are back hotel. Everything in the room was good but there are leakage on the tap which make us irritated when using the basin.

This was by far the most satisfying hotel stay I've ever had. Firstly, the price was incredibly reasonable, yet the services available even before check-in were extensive, allowing me to feel comfortable from the moment I arrived. I also used the bar and enjoyed afternoon tea; both the atmosphere and service were superb, making for a truly luxurious experience. The room was very clean, and the facilities and comfort were impeccable. Its direct connection to a commercial complex made shopping and dining incredibly convenient. Furthermore, with *** also on-site, there's plenty to enjoy within the hotel itself, which is a major plus. From service, location, and facilities to value for money, everything was outstanding. This was undoubtedly the best hotel I've ever stayed in, and I would love to return.

This hotel really is the Oasis you need after the hussle and bustle of Cebu. The rooms are BIG, Clean and the pools are fantastic. Like everywhere in the Philippines service and staff are 10/10. The staff are sweet and can not do enough for you The beach at this Hotel is man made but the landscape and pools really make it special. Its perfect for a 2 night stay where you do not want to leave the hotel. The surroundings are pretty desolate. But the sheraton has everything you need for luxury, food options and relaxation. Also they play great R&B around the pool

My family and I recently stayed at Crimson for a night, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. My daughter absolutely loved the place, and the only word she could repeatedly say was, “AMAZING.” The buffet breakfast was outstanding, especially the wide variety of options available for kids. It was thoughtful touches like these that made our stay even more enjoyable. The foam party at the infinity pool was also a big highlight and added so much fun and excitement for the children. What truly made our stay memorable was the hospitality of the staff. Everyone was incredibly accommodating, warm, and approachable throughout our visit. During checkout, a piece of luggage belonging to a guest from Room 619 was accidentally loaded into our car. As soon as we discovered it, we immediately contacted the concierge, and the taxi driver kindly returned it to the hotel right away. Overall, we had a truly wonderful and memorable stay at the resort. Thank you for the excellent service and experience — we would gladly return and highly recommend Crimson to others.

The hotel is about a 30-minute Grab ride from Cebu Airport, costing around 50 RMB. However, a white taxi from the airport has a fixed rate of 300 pesos (I'm not sure why Grab was more expensive). First, the positives: The hotel has a certain design aesthetic. When the tide is high in the morning, the hotel's private beach is great for photos. There are paid activities like island hopping, fishing, and jet skiing available right on the beach. All three pools have good water quality (aside from a few fallen leaves). Pizza Hut offers relatively affordable prices, and the beef short ribs at Allegro all-day dining are a must-try for dinner – a huge portion for 950 pesos, and absolutely delicious. The staff are incredibly friendly; as long as you can communicate with a mix of English and gestures, they are always happy to help, but you need to be proactive in expressing yourself. Once, an Alipay payment was delayed, and the restaurant staff verified it through multiple channels – their attitude remained consistently friendly, which is the main reason I'm giving a perfect score 💯. Now for the negatives: The hotel's own promotion seems to be lacking. Before my trip, I found very few reviews or guides from Chinese travelers online, and indeed, most guests at the hotel were Koreans and Westerners, with Chinese guests making up less than 10%. Secondly, the room type classifications on Ctrip are quite confusing. The 'Executive Deluxe Room' is actually located in the hotel's only 6-story building. If you're afraid of bugs, you can request a higher floor, but this building faces the street, which can feel a bit less secure. The hotel also has room types similar to 'beach villas' in the Maldives, but you can't discern these from the Ctrip descriptions, so an update is recommended. Lastly, there were two issues with hygiene: first, there were quite a lot of flies at the dinner buffet, which Westerners didn't seem to mind much. The other was the water quality – I won't post pictures, but I brought my own shower filter, and it turned yellow after just one shower! I went through three in four days! OMG! I don't know if the water in Cebu is filtered seawater because it tasted a bit salty. So, as soon as you arrive, make sure to turn right out of the hotel and buy large bottles of mineral water from a 'ZMN' mart or something similar! I think you'll need it for washing (though I ate over a dozen meals at the hotel and didn't get sick, so perhaps I'm being overly cautious). Overall, I feel this is a beautiful hotel that is a bit underestimated in its promotion. If you want to experience the local culture, I recommend staying here for a few days (P.S. The singer at the dinner restaurant did a really great rendition of 'Top of the World').

The Hotel and staff did really well during the Sinulog festival! They organised workshop and provided gifts and souvenirs. It is also very close to one of the main festival areas. The only disappointment was the kaldereta we ordered from the kitchen which was ridiculously small amount (1 piece of meat). However there are many restaurants nearby. Hairdryer needs extra payment of 100 peso per night.

This is an 'one-island-one-hotel' concept, and the environment is beautiful. There are many activities to choose from on the island. We only stayed one day, but you could easily spend more days here and not run out of things to do. You can snorkel on both the east and west sides. On the west side, there are more local guides (outside of the hotel) who can take you snorkeling. Apparently, you can even spot baby sharks, though we didn't see any. Definitely don't arrive at the pier at the last minute for the boat to the island; make sure to get there early.

I love this place because it is a big property with many different parts and things to do. There really many pools, an aqua park, an inflatable island on a large pool, a game room, a bar, a restaurant, a souvenir shop (that also sells basic medicines and toiletry needs), bathrooms, a garden, the beach front. If you are a family with children of different ages and even if you have grandparents in tow, this would be perfect. They’re not stingy with lounge chairs either and in one pool, you can play volleyball. Their rooms are good sized and comes with a small ref, hair dryer, a carafe and free tea and coffee. Their breakfast buffet is awesome with sooo many food and drinks to choose from. There is a BDO cash machine and their staff are very helpful and polite. Grab food are not allowed to deliver at the lobby, they can only make it to the gate of the property and while it is not far to walk there, you can ask for free shuttle to bring you to the gate to claim your order and then back to the lobby. They also take credit cards and water stations on each floor where you can refill your water bottles. There are 2 large water bottles in each room. I think the one issue I have is - I perceived this resort to be family friendly because of the many kinds of activities for different ages but our rooms came with bathrooms that has glass wall where a person outside the bathroom can pull up the blinds. I mean, why? When I booked the rooms, it didn’t mention that the bathroom would be like that. I wish they would provide a distinction during booking so that people who don’t want bathrooms to be like that can avoid it.

I had a hot, uncomfortable disappointed, and we were in utter shocked that the room I booked was not in their system. As I was rebooking, it was not the same as the first booking then blacked out occured. During the blacked out the my booking end up with only a bed in dorm style quarters, public bathroom and no privacy. My first booking was a package trip from Cebu to Manila which still in a wrong date. The actual date for the flight was to be on August 19 @ 9:50 but the three agent that I spoke to on the 18th got my hotel canceled and only provided me a rebooked solution. Sure, I can rebooked, thank so much for making my simple trip into **************** with my family, along withy impatient high functioning autism, 24 years old son who doesn't like his iPad to be low battery and no wifi. To remind you that the black out still happening, so during my aunty and son lunch the black still going. I have no idea what kind of menu and price for food and drinks. As I saw the server put the first plate of food, I was shocked to see the mountain square shape nacho cheese beyond understanding. My aunty is only 90 to 100 pounds. She doesn't speak English and doesn't understand what she ordered, so she asked question about salad and a slice of pizza. But that not what the server brought, he came out again carrying nacho cheese, same size as the first nacho cheese/beef, except the second is chicken then a whole large Canadian bacon pizza. I couldn't believe the amount of food that was ordered then a Red Bull for my autistic son? My aunty was repeatedly saying that she only want salad and a slice pizza then water. What she really wanted the cook and server wanted to do is take away all the food back including the Red Bull. Oh, one more set of food, two big pieces of Burrito. The hotel is still in black out and stuffy hot and dark. The staff are not good listener. My son started eating and drinking the Red Bull, when I saw him, I told the staff that Red Bull straight might kill him of a heart attack. I also mentioned that my son doesn't know self control when it comes to food which is called glutenny . He already pass his regular weight. I heard my aunty said that my son ordered all the food; she had no idea what he was ordering. Meanwhile the black out still continuing till around 5:30 pm, every building around the area has their electricity back on but not the Papabo. Our booking still in process. The manager charged me for the lunch even though the mistake was the their service, taking order from an autistic person instead of asking his parents. The manager decided to booked us in the one room that has two bunk bed, private bathroom and has windows cause still black out. The room is stuffy and hot, it's on the fourth floor, no elevator and dark to go up the stairs. We decided to lock up our things in the room cause still black out. My aunty over heard that the electricity bill was not paid. So as soon as I got down. The manager charged me 1500 pesos cash plus 1200 pesos for lunch that I only got to eat two slices of pizza and a couple of bite of nacho beef. I didn't get to have the burritos. The Papabo manager quickly went to pay for their electricity bill after she spoke to the owner. My aunty and me went to the beach. I for sure locked the bedroom and still no electriçity. My son went to 7/11 to charge the iPad. We got back at the hotel at 8:30 or so and the electricity was on and my son also in the in the hotel. Do recognized that the hotel keys was an actual key, and I only have the key with. In my surprised our bedroom door was wide open, our things are scattered on the chair and table. Now, just today at this time, I'm still looking for my necklace that has my Mom piece of earing, my oldest son alligator tooth pendant and my initial pendant A. I'll call the hotel when I finished looking at our things here.Yap, my necklace is missing.
