"The Sebel Canberra was the perfect destination for my partner and I plus our little French Bulldog, Charlie. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with exceptional service and a warm welcome for our fur baby. The rooms were not only beautifully decorated but also equipped with a plush dog bed and a food bowl with mat, ensuring that she felt right at home.
Overall, The Sebel exceeded our expectations as a dog-friendly hotel. We highly recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with their fur baby. We can't wait to visit again!"
"The hotel is quite good. The parking was in increased to A$28 if not pre-booked but trip.com says only A$15 and no need to book. The hotel ended up waiving the first night parking when we asked and we parked on the street the next day.
The hotel room is very big and the beds are quite firm and comfortable. The bathroom is a good size but would appreciate rubbish bags into the bins because it feels like I can't even put in banana peel because I don't want it to go to mush inside the bin and someone has to dig it out and wash the bin.
There is an iron and ironing board in the room with safe, extra blanket and pillows. The only complaint for the room is probably the noisy air conditioning.
Food at the bistro inside the hotel was pretty good for dinner and the buffet breakfast had a good variety but it is the same everyday."

"It was my first time in the capital of Australia. I did some research and read other people's reviews. I finally chose this one. Of course, I also stayed in their chain hotels in other cities in Australia. Fortunately, I didn't live near the train station. It completely overturned my perception of a capital train station. It's too rubbish. In my big oriental country, the current town train stations are better than this one.
There are food places near the hotel, especially not far from the number one steak restaurant, which is good!"
"Excellent, with all the white goods including clothes dryer in the room, pool, gym, sauna are all in good condition but the tennis court and tennis rackets are very poor..
location is very convenient."
"Checked in and found out my bed was occupied by someone else. Reported to staff members and they quickly arranged me into a new room and new bunk. Overall the stay was satisfying, location is excellent and price is affordable. Would recommend for a short stay in Canberra."
"Fantastic little rooms that are central to everything, great customer service, and the rooms are full of all the amenities that you would need.
I would recommend it to everyone and certainly stay here again. Especially visiting during autumn is recommended as the city is so beautiful this time of year and with the views from the windows it make it so much better."
"Family Room is a basic one, 1 double bed, 1 sofa bed and 2 twin beds.
The toilet is also for reduced accessibility ppl, so almost no barrier between shower place and the toilet area. Water around after the shower.
2 washing machines and 2 dryers are available in the basement. AUD 3 for each service.
Hourly carpark right next to the premises. Free of charge during public holidays."
"Stayed in Feb 2025 but there's a massive construction next to the hotel, so make sure you book a room that's away from the construction site. Initially the suite I booked was very nice, since I asked for a change due to it was facing directly to the site, the room was small. "
"The overall experience was good. I ordered a two-bedroom apartment, which is a two-bedroom shared toilet. Please write it here for everyone who wants to order. The environment is nice and quiet, the rooms are relatively clean and tidy, the daily necessities provided are relatively complete, and the price is relatively high. The only drawback was that there was a problem with the water heater in the room at that time. There was always no hot water in the bath, but it was reflected to the front desk, hoping to resolve it as soon as possible."
