Sheraton Tucuman Hotel

We are sorry to have such a bad experience with a chain that we believed valued the visit of its guests. We stayed one night, when we went to check out they charged us for the accommodation with taxes, we pointed out to Mr. Aldo Carbajal who was at reception that we were foreigners and we presented our passports as he requested but supposedly we needed a boarding pass that that document or passport stamping is only issued by airport customs and we came by land. Despite his unwillingness to try to solve us, we had to insist on being able to speak with the manager, the same one who was on duty was a Mr. Miguel who did not take charge of the situation since we were left waiting at reception for long minutes without getting a response. He no longer showed up or communicated to give us a response to the problem. We clarify that it is not an economic issue but that it does not seem fair to us that they have charged us for the accommodation with taxes since we have also come from staying in very good hotels and we did not have any inconvenience. Very nice hotel, located right next to the large park. The room was large and nicely furnished, the staff very friendly and the breakfast delicious.

The worst thing is that the dirt predominates. Anyone who knows the hotel has been going for 4 years and the dirt on the glass of the heated pool now means you can't see anything towards the park. I had to go to the room at 6 pm to have it put together or at least change my towels, on 31 and 01/24 they changed my towels and they didn't even have soap. I always liked the hotel more or less, but this time it was noticeable even in the number of people staying and at the New Year's dinner, by email I had it written by a person named Milagros that the promotion could be paid for everything in 3 installments, I made the reservation in November with a credit card as guarantee as always and in the middle of December they increased me, I didn't say anything, I get there and there is no light for the women's sauna, the heated pool did not work, the dirt prevails, the people go to great lengths to show that they can't even give soap, and on 20/24 they didn't have towels, just as they read... a towel and I asked the maid if she could please get me a heel and she brought me one. In the raffle it was so terrible, disrespecting society, that they said the names of the winners without reading and on a table there were two prizes... total treachery, treating others with rubbish and the icing on the cake, not only that they gave special desserts At that table, not even the one who gave the prizes started drinking whiskey at that table from the same glass. Be careful (Johnnie Walker of the cheapest) both the lady and the gentleman of the raffle were not ashamed. When I left I complained, I left early because they didn't provide a solution to the pool, they didn't change the lamps, there were no towels, so nice that they later denied having written via email that you could pay in three installments for dinner along with the stays, no one showed her face, the lady at the reception apologized to me but charged me in cash. Those behind the dark glass only wrote an email apologizing... they denied you certain fruits at breakfast, how good the children of someone important in the hotel were, so they asked and there the fruits appeared like the omelettes that were made for certain people. Of course... later they apologize to you via email. Recommendation, ask carefully what they offer you and in writing is what works for me plus other things for my legal presentation. If it didn't pretend to be a 5 star it could pass. 35° empty and disabled pool. The room air set to cold 10° does not cool at all. The fridge at room temperature. Correct breakfast if it weren't for the fact that the waiters don't clean the tables and take a while to bring the coffee. If you ask them for something, for example an espresso, they bring you a coffee with milk or they bring you an omelet that someone else ordered. No comparison with the Sheraton in Salta.

Beautiful view of the square, next to the ******, with an excellent integrated restaurant, but private trea**ent, with surprising menus! We would only need to have a space to pay for taxis with a card, so we don't have to worry about cash, because today we have a very large facility with a card machine, especially for international trips.

A gastronomic experience like no other in Tucumán. Unmissable regional foods and desserts. The restaurant service is impeccable, the staff is extremely attentive. I always recommend it.
