Castelo Hotels with Airport pickup service

The hotel is isolated, rooms with balconies with sea views. Breakfast is good breakfast has the basics, staff are not complicated, always try to help. The only problem with the room is that if you can't sleep with light then you can't stay in this hotel if you can't stay at 5 p.m., the “ blackouts” of the room are completely inefficient. Or you have to sleep early and wake up early. But I would like to come back, the swimming pool is badly working only a few months, as in Portugal there is sun and heat in many more months.

Excellent apartment, for a reasonable price. The apartment has everything necessary to spend 5 or 7 days. A large kitchenette room, balcony with a table and seats with view to the sea, cable TV with an excellent image of a 55-inch OLED LG TV. The whole house has air conditioning and Wi-Fi. Finally the car is parked in a spacious underground garage of the building. I just draw attention to the fact that the image that the system puts these apartments does not correspond to the reality. The right name of these apartments is ”Troia Residence - Apartamentos Marina”, located on the street of Aroeira, on the street of GNR.

Big bed and comfortable large room with bad odorants, gentle staff, I stayed blocked in the lift, the room was repaired after 3 days was a suite. Good breakfast. The hotel is wonderful as a structure but it is completely out of service, it seems they are waiting for a new buyer to rebuild it all. The kitchen is abandoned, use only for breakfast, restaurant with spectacular room and panoramic terrace almost abandoned to the spot. Bars not available , they put a free 24-hour coffee machine in the lobby .... Very serious that they forced me to pay 8 nights immediately with credit card before seeing the room, In fact, after 2 days I would have left but they would not have paid back ....... No hotel in my life has asked me for an advance payment at Check-in for 8 nights, it can happen for one night. I advise not to go if it is not restructured.

Enjoyed 8 days at Hotel Do Mar. Its a minute from the beautiful clean sandy beach. The 70's styled hotel is built into the steep hillside. Access to the floors is therefore split between separate lifts at about floor 5. We found our rooms comfortable with good aircon. The rooms have a cottage style with dark wood windows, blinds, doors and cupboards The en-suite facilities looked relatively new and all functioned well. We found the hotel staff helpful and attentive. Covid rules were being carefully followed and the place was spotlessly clean. The buffet breakfast room and bar enjoy stunning views across the bay. The hotel garden has mature trees and lawn areas. The pool was clean and well maintained; plenty of sunbeds available. For families there are about 20 steps from the lower lift to the beach. The seafront is mainly pedestrian and level. Sesimbra is a quiet village. Aside from the excellent beach it has a working fishing harbour and the local restaurants have the freshest fish. This was a new find for us. Its about 35 minutes from Lisbon. There are some bus services from Sesimbra, but a car will be required to tour the area.

Very spacious apartment with all the amenities available to spend a good day of rest. Only one minus point are the pillows (a lot but) the mattress already needs to be changed and the existing blanket has also had better days of washing.

As part of our vacation we stayed 10 days in Sesimbra and this was our first time at the Four Points by Sheraton Sesimbra. During our stay the staff were friendly and helpful, rooms were spacious and really clean, there were plenty of chairs around the pool and upper levels [the sun beds on the 3rd tier by the pool were great to relax in and read a book]. From the hotel it’s about a leisurely 15 minute walk to the downtown/beach area, not a big deal to us. Especially after we had breakfast in the hotel or dinner downtown the walk was needed and the shuttle service on those lazy days was perfect. All we had to do is reserve the time for pick-up or drop-off. Valentyne [hope I spelled your name correctly], you were great, always on time and always accommodating! Special thank you to Rodrigo Bernardo, who made our stay that much more special.

We were quite disappointed about the experience, all was ok but nothing was quite right Check in : the desk can’t cope with the number of people at the time , as usually are families the situation gets quite noise , large and tedious, be prepare to access any time after 16,30..... Bed mattress need to be replaced, the have a long live Bathroom is a mystery how to get out hold the bath not having to jump over the vanities !! Location and view is a plus , if you book for sea apartment view !’ As mentioned , quite basic , under expectations for sure !!

Spectacular view , spacious and beautiful house .

I spent a weekend at Sana with my girlfriend. We didn’t have a good experience. 1) the breakfast is very limited for a 4 star hotel that charges 100+ a night. Aside from standard eggs, mushrooms and cheese, there are very limited options. Also, they bring very limited quantities and hence people almost have to fight over food. 2) the staff is not helpful. For instance, we book 2 nights in different rooms and given that we arrived late we asked to go to the second room directly. They said it was not available. It happened that the first room they gave us didn’t have a working aircon and after this, the second room miraculously became available. 3) hotel charges you $12 per night. Mind blowing. If you park in front of the hotel on the street by the ocean, and you don’t pay the fee and get a fine, it amounts to $8. Ridiculous. Very poor experience and won’t go back for sure.
