Hotels in Downtown Culture Area, Chengdu

This hotel is very popular among Thai travelers. It’s conveniently located not far from the IFS building, making it a great base for exploring the area. The room is comfortable and well-equipped, including a hairdryer, which is always a plus. The bathroom is nicely designed with separate wet and dry zones, which helps keep everything clean and tidy. They also offer luggage storage, which is very helpful if you arrive early or have a late departure.

Three of us checked in late on our first night and were warmly welcomed by a lovely lady named Pitiless, who greeted us with a warm smile. After check-in, she sent us a list of recommended restaurants and local attractions to try, which was very helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the bed was especially cozy. The hotel is conveniently located near most of the attractions we had planned to visit, which made getting around easy. The only downside was the breakfast, which wasn’t quite to our taste.

Hotel staffs are fluent in English. This is the best hotel in Chengdu. Most best part is refrigerator and washer which are helpful. Comfy bed and hot water are also good. I'd like to stay again.

Location and transportation: The hotel has an excellent location and convenient transportation. It is usually close to Chunxi Road subway station, which is convenient for travel. It takes a few minutes to walk there. Facilities and services: The facilities are complete, the rooms are clean and tidy, the beds are comfortable, the air conditioning and hot water supply are good. The service attitude is good, enthusiastic and considerate, and can provide a home-coming feeling. There is lemonade at check-in. Cost-effectiveness: Reasonable price, high cost-effectiveness, the living environment is better than the same price of fast hotels. Recommendation: Strongly recommended for business trips or tourists, the location is excellent, and there are many shopping and food options nearby.

Hotel is located at a very convenient place at Tianfu square near the metro, and within shopping district. The check-in lobby is at level 37, not difficult to access. Beside the cleanliness, nice design and the spacious room, I have to commend the kind and professional check-in staff who provide very good service. I was served by 暖暖， 小花 for check in and they are very welcoming and patient in helping me with my enquiries 可可 和 洛洛 also helped me with checkout and baggage service. I hope to come back again to enjoy the great hospitality service.

A really nice and quaint hotel in the heart of Chengdu. Rooms were well appointed - we booked a tea-room themed room with an outdoor balcony. It was perfect! Service staff was also very helpful - there was 24-hour support. The receptionist also offered to help us plan our itinerary. Sadly we only stayed for one night. 35–40 minutes taxi ride from Chengdu Tianfu Airport Location was not hard to find. Construction happening near the entrance to the hotel. 24 hour reception, that’s a plus, I arrived around 3am and checking in was a breeze. Got one keycard and room only gets powered on by inserting. (Including ac) 2 out of 3 elevators working, not an issue until its peak time for workers as the building shares the hotel and office buildings. You may have to wait 5-6 minutes for an elevator. Also, people here are not shy in squeezing in on the elevator for some reason. I was on the 16th floor. My only issue was that the soundproofing is really bad, the cleaning staff room was next to my room so I heard every door slam for almost 2-3 hours daily. It’s April, it gets chilly at night and hot in the morning. The air con remote never went below 26 even when I changed it to 21-22. The air blowing speed actually works, at night in the middle of your sleep you will get cold! Haha The television is a little outdated but who watches television while on vacation?? The outlet and plugs are a huge plus! Having usb to it really helped. Washing clothes was great! It was on the 2nd floor and it was free including detergent. The only nightmare was the dryers. 4 washing machines 2 dryers. The dryers did not dry at all, atleast for me and another person after one hour of only drying sleepwear. So I took them back tot he room and hung them on the hangers (6) provided in the closet. The hotel is next to two pharmacies. The nearest family mart is across the street and you have to take the above head pedestrian walkway over, which is quite a walk. Check out was a breeze. I would definitely come again.

The room is clean and tidy, and the area is very spacious. Although it is the off-season and the price is low, the stay experience is also very good. This time I stayed in several hotels for a long time. Maybe due to the season, the toilets in all of them smelled very bad, but this one was really clean, and the floor and the room were fragrant. The bed is very comfortable. It was a very pleasant stay. The guy at the front desk was very nice and proactive!

The place is a bit difficult to find if you don't know Chinese: you need to find the ICBC bank, the entrance is to the right of the ICBC as shown in one of the pictures. Show the Chinese name of the place to reception on ground floor and they will give you access to the elevator to get to the 9th floor. From there you need to walk around and find the open door that looks like an apartment but actually is where you check in. The apt is new, modern, and clean. I found the bed on the hard side but when I flipped the mattress over it was better. The sofa also was very hard to sit on. It was nice having a fridge and laundry machine.
