The hotel is really clean and staff were so nice and speak English fluently! Hotel provided you a 100ntd breakfast coupons and you can spend it at 7-eleven.

Hotel located at Center of Fenchihhu old street & go anywhere will be convenient. The hotel provide free guided tour around the area so do confirm the tour guide rest day with hotel. Must try hotel train bento & must dine in since offer the best value compare to other shop. My room provide a good view but no aircon & only fan. The room really showing the old aged of the hotel. The breakfast included are NT100 voucher to spend at 7-11. Do walk around to find restaurant offer wasabi chicken soup (must try). Another local delicacy as in photo. Both are nearby so happy exploring. Almost forgot, hotel are without lift so pack light.

Place is clean with complete amenities👍. Service was good as well. 7 eleven is just beside so it is very convenient. Try their meal box it is delicious.

Amazing! Super authentic experience! The staff were really friendly and helpful. Explained everything, including how and when to get to Alishan, and even helped me get back from Alishan park. I also really enjoyed the tea and the bath. Thanks!

Great hotel to stay in if you are interested in exploring Fenchihu!

The service of the hotel is satisfactory, the facilities are average, and the meals are very simple, giving breakfast coupons to convenience stores. The hotel is located on Fenchihu Old Street, which is suitable for shopping in the old street. The overall hotel is worth recommending.

It's great. The lunch boxes in the hotel are delicious. The service attitude is very friendly. They help to get hot water. The tatami in the room is comfortable and unique. It feels like being at your own home. I will come back again in the future!

In a remote mountainous area, it is considered a five-star hotel with complete facilities, good air and beautiful scenery. There is Xiaoqi downstairs, which is very convenient for shopping.

The hotel is halfway up the mountain and is very old. The whole hotel is filled with the smell of bamboo shoots (in the lobby, front desk and restaurant area). It is not in the room, but you can smell it as soon as you leave the room. The room is relatively clean and has a very rustic feel. It's a bit like an old Japanese-style hotel. Friends who like "original ecology" will probably like it. Personally, I’m not pursuing this. Those on a budget should book a newer hotel. When the hot water supply for bathing is limited, the time period in the evening is 17:00-23:00. Then the order clearly included breakfast. When I arrived, I was told that there was no breakfast and I was given a 711 shopping voucher worth NT$200 instead. Emmmm, because I couldn’t get takeout on the mountain and I really wanted to have hotel breakfast. I was speechless. Then the hotel is called Grand Hotel, but there is no restaurant open and it only sells bento boxes. However, because the whole hotel smells of stinky bamboo shoots, I don’t really want to eat that bento box. Also, there seems to be no elevator inside the hotel, but there are many stairs, so it is not very convenient to drag suitcases. There is no refrigerator in the room so it is inconvenient to store frozen drinks. Because it was a bit cold after the sun set on the mountain, there was only an air-conditioning switch in the room and it seemed there was no heating.

The facilities and services are all good. The only drawback is that the heat in the kitchen will rush upwards and sometimes hit the windows, making guests afraid to open the windows to enjoy the beautiful scenery outside the window. The lack of dry and wet separation in the bathroom is also one of the shortcomings.
