"The service is not good, the staff is very impatient.
The lobby and other public areas are closed at 11 o'clock, and friends are not allowed to use them even if they need to make a conference call, so the telephones in the corridor and the room will affect other guests.
The heating is not turned on at night, and it is not turned on after complaints.
The English breakfast set is OK. The restaurant also closes on time at 9:30."

"Value for money indeed. Never expect such a spacious and well-refurbished room at such an amazing price. Would recommend it to anyone who visit Exeter since it’s located exactly at the city centre and within 10 or 15 minutes walk from both railway stations."
"The hotel environment is very quiet, beautiful and comfortable, clean and hygienic, and the staff are very warm and helpful. I sleep well, and the breakfast is delicious and nutritious. It is a good place to live for travel, and I will stay with my family if I have the chance in the future"
"Behind it is David Church and a small tombstone. It is indeed a bit scary to arrive at night, but I participated in church activities during the day and understood the local culture. I also felt very interesting. I will pass through the cemetery in order to take a shortcut in the next few days."
"There's no reception, which can be dangerous to live alone. For my experience, stranger knocking on my door hard and constantly around 11:30 pm, which is terrifying!! Police came the other night for unknown reason. As they are checking the monitor, we are asked to wait at the bar and not able to go back to our room for around an hour. Good location though, very convenient for everything."

Great
MMark GBRA last minute booking as we were passing through Exeter visiting family. The room was decent with a comfy bed. There was a little noise from the courtyard outside playing music at night which stopped about 10pm. No issue. Great central location and a relaxed night. No complimentary toiletries 🧴not even a toothbrush 🪥- which is just a pain to have to go and buy them. I asked at reception and he just shook his head. 🤷♂️99% of hotels we stay at have them - seems a little tight 🤣 - anyway no issues with the room or location so we’d stay here again if needed. 👍
JJoanne LouiseThe hotel was clean & tidy the bar staff were excellent I for got her name but was so nice & friendly she made our stay unforgettable and will definitely be back soon, our whole experience was excellent the breakfast was lovely
NNaingExcellent location close to the central train station and town centre. There is a beautiful garden right opposite the hotel. The room was spacious and clean. Helpful and kind staff at the reception.
MMarie saraIt was perfect for what we needed for the night, and the ladies at the welcome desk were absolutely lovely! Very cheap and cheerful, fairly close to Exeter city centre but it's not within walking distance. However the room was very cold and the heating didn't seem to kick in at all even with the radiator turned right up, I was shivering! I should have asked for extra blankets.
AAnonymous UserTook quite a while to connect Wi-Fi which needs guest name and room number, and they confused my surname with first name.
A long hair was found on the toilet towel!
The room service lady was knocking the door as early as 9:30am.
Breakfast finishes at 10:00am on Sundays which is quite early as most hotels end at 10:30am.
Room is very spacious with a large double bed and enough power sockets.
GGuest UserAll staff excellent only issue we had was travel cot - the mattress was so worn out and they obviously realised this as had been padded with towels and a large sheet all of which made it very susceptible to SIDS - we asked for a duvet to help pad it which helped and made sure tucked in securely but maybe invest in new bases. Apart from that majority of staff couldn’t have been more helpful
SSuzanne MarieThe location of this hotel is excellent! Lovely, quiet area and close to the cathedral and high street. The room was well appointed with a very comfortable bed and the best pillows I’ve experienced in all my travels. The room had a kettle for tea and coffee and a hair dryer. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean. If you choose to have breakfast out, try the Cosy Club next door for a quirky atmosphere and delicious food!
SSan NaikAs usual with my frequent visit to this area I find Woodbury Park hotel has been my preferred place to stay. Staff are lovely kind and helpful. It’s a beautiful hotel satin a very picturesque location surrounded by pleasant scenery. Hotels and rooms are very clean and well attended to. Restaurant services are clean and impeccable. Credit goes to the chefs and the team who managed the service. I have had a pleasant breakfast service during my stay at Woodbury. I hope the staff and the team at Woodbury keep up the good work and encourage us to use them during my future trips to the area.
