Garner Hotels in Cologne

The Wi-Fi was awful, practically unusable. When I asked the front desk about it, the staff just curtly said, ”I don't know.” That person was really unhelpful. Next time I'm in Cologne, I definitely won't be staying at this hotel again. It's super far from the city center; a taxi costs over 30 euros, and even a Bolt is more than 10 euros.

Een modern hotel echt hartje centrum op een steenworp van de dom en winkels. Goed ontbijt, mooie inrichting, fijne ontvangst, vriendelijk personeel, lekker bed en beddengoed. Máár: de kamer was extreem klein met een bed tegen de muur aan waardoor je over elkaar heen moest kruipen en had een uitzicht waar je bedroefd van raakt. De badkamer had geen afzuiging waardoor het na het douchen heel benauwd in de kleine kamer werd. Daarvoor moesten de ramen weer open, met geluid van ventilatoren als gevolg. Zo zo zo comfortabel.

It's a bit far from Cologne Cathedral. You'll need to take a tram to get around, but I booked a room close to the Flixbus stop, so it was fine! The room was really cold. It was okay with a blanket, but the air was cold. It was reasonably clean and overall, it was fine! I was also surprised when they told me my payment hadn't been processed at check-in. I think there was an error because I booked through a brokerage site (Trip.com). They said they'd let me know if there were any issues at check-out, but I paid the city tax and it was fine. ^^
