2-Star Hotels in Cologne

Great location, close to Cologne Cathedral. The facilities are basic, almost like a hostel, with no elevator and no kettle. We booked a double room, which was a decent size. During exhibition periods, the room rates are very high, and the facilities don't match the price. However, it's fairly clean, and you can get free water, tea, and coffee downstairs. Luggage storage is also available. For business travelers with minimal needs, it's a convenient and sufficient place to stay due to its excellent transport links.

Odeur de fumée de cigarette dans la chambre et dans les parties communes. Une femme dans la chambre voisine, travaillant apparemment dans cet hôtel, qui n'a cessé de parler fort au téléphone, claqué sa porte, et surtout on l'entendait tousser toutes les 30 secondes. Fenêtres qui laissaient passer tellement d'air avec manque de chauffage la nuit que j'en ai attrapé froid (oui, je suis tombée malade à cause de cela) ! Donc, bien évidemment, je déconseille cet hôtel.

lovely lobby with charging amenities and places to rest and study, the staff was also very nice helped fix a coffee machine when it was broken and refunded my coffee. also very near to metro station (see pics) definitely recommended for solo travelers.

The bed was small, perfect for business use. It's close to the subway, so it's a good choice for visiting the Dusseldorf Convention Center, about a 40-minute drive away. There's a large supermarket near the hotel, where pork knuckles and roast chicken are quite affordable. The roast chicken is especially good, highly recommended!

One stop from the airport, it is easier to find, but because the plane is late, there is no one at the front desk when it arrives, and you need to check in by yourself. Everyone's messages have to be entered one by one, which is more troublesome!

I had a great stay at this hotel. The staff were amazing – very friendly and helpful. The place was quiet, clean, and had everything I needed. The location was also convenient, close to the airport with restaurants and shops nearby. The only thing to keep in mind is that there’s no fan or AC, so it might get a bit warm during summer, but for me, it was perfect. Overall, a very good experience and I’d definitely recommend it.

The towel was wet before we entered the house, the mildew on the back, the window still no ventilation in the bathroom... The smell could not be lost for a long time, my God! The equipment for bathing is a bathroom cabinet with a sense of time. The door is not very easy to use, and the force is not tight enough, which also causes the bathroom to be wet. There are no slippers, no toiletries, and a hot water bottle in the room. The bed is full of comfort, and the quilt is also the national standard. It is very close to the subway station. It is expensive to take a stop at the Central Railway Station. It takes half an hour to walk. There are many Middle Eastern residents around.
