4-Star Hotels in Cologne

The hotel environment is excellent, with a lake across the street where you can see swans and plenty of Canada geese. The room wasn't large, but it was well-equipped, though the window couldn't be opened. I only stayed for one night, but I'd definitely go back for the nice surroundings.

This hotel is not close to the airport you will need a bus and it's 7 stops away and you will still need to walk 15 minutes. There is a airport shuttle to the airport. Friendly staff, I personally felt the room was warm for me but my son said he was a little cold. I guess it is personal preference. There us on site restaurant and bar but I felt for us it was a little on the pricey side but there was a supermarket and local food shops close by.

The hotel isn't super close to the train station, but it's a manageable walk. There are also supermarkets nearby, which makes shopping convenient. You can walk to Cologne Cathedral in a bit. The room facilities are decent, and it's quite spacious for three people. The cleanliness is good, and the service is nice. The price was a little on the higher side.

I had a wonderful stay at CityClass Hotel am Dom. The location truly could not be better — it is just steps away from the magnificent Cologne Cathedral, and the views from the room were absolutely fantastic. Waking up to a direct view of the cathedral was a highlight of the trip. The hotel is also surrounded by plenty of food options, from traditional German restaurants to international cuisine, all within easy walking distance. It made exploring the city incredibly convenient, especially in the evenings. Furthermore, it is just a 5-minute walk from the train station. The staff were friendly and professional, and the rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Overall, an excellent choice for anyone wanting to stay right in the heart of Cologne with unbeatable views and dining options nearby. I would definitely stay here again.

Very clean, nice room, it had a small kitchen. The only bad side to it is the parking.. it wasn’t very clear where to go.. The wellness was also very clean and quiet.

Overall, it was excellent. The hotel has many rooms, and the rooms themselves are very spacious. Housekeeping cleans daily. There's a restaurant on the first floor with good food, making it definitely worth a stay. It's also very close to the Cologne Exhibition Centre, with a subway station right outside the hotel that gets you there in just 3 stops. Getting to Cologne Central Station is also super convenient, as there's a direct bus right in front of the hotel!

Excellent hotel quality and very friendly service. Any issues were promptly resolved by hotel. Highly recommended. BF was excellent and so were the swim pool and sauna.

Don’t stay here in summer it’s absolute hell. It doesn’t have any working air con regardless of what they say and the room is 28-30c at night! The hotel owners need to spend a few million euros overhauling the entire system and it’s obvious they won’t ever do that Sadly because of this the front desk staff bare the brunt of complaints therefore creating a toxic work environment the room itself is nice but sadly would never book again during summer months

This hotel boasts a great location, close to the train station and the old market, and near the Rhine River, offering a lovely environment. There's a church right downstairs, providing a nice view. Check-in is self-service via a machine, which was a bit slow, but the hotel's interior is quite new, the rooms are spacious, and the bed is comfortable. Thumbs up!

Booked this place just because of the spa. Made my way there from the UK and visited Cologne as it is a beautiful place. Got to the hotel to be told that because I booked via Trip.com I need to pay extra for using the spa. Absolutely a joke. The place looks run down also and very expensive. Will never stay here and would not recommend under no circumstances.
