The invoice is only provided after check-out. The internet was overloaded and didn't work, making the in-room tablet useless. The staff could only offer standard apologies like 'I'm sorry.' The price was outrageous for what was offered! It's an outdated 3-star hotel with a tiny TV. The coffee was from the cheapest instant powder. The towels need to be replaced; they're completely worn out, even after multiple changes. Next time, I'll stay in a better hotel and give the exorbitant price difference to a taxi driver instead."

Chose the brand despite the location being some distance away from Hbf. The hotel check-in reception spoilt our experience - cut us off extremely rudely when we tried to check in and said she can only deal with check outs at that time. There were no queue and no crowd at that moment and she refused to process any administration. WHope Pullman can step up the customer service experience in future."

"This hotel's Cologne Cathedral view is absolutely breathtaking, but what was equally impressive were the location, service, and cleanliness. When I first arrived from the train station, I foolishly didn't look up the route properly and ended up dragging my heavy luggage up and down stairs, when I could have avoided them by taking a different path. Despite the difficult journey to the hotel, the staff greeted us so warmly and genuinely wished my sister a happy birthday that all my weariness turned into joy. And when we got to the room, we were greeted with such an amazing view and a beautiful room! Thanks to this, we had a wonderful time in Cologne for two days, listening to the bells of Cologne Cathedral. When checking out and heading back to the train station, I followed the staff's directions and found a flat, easy route back. Oh, the only minor inconveniences were the opaque glass in the bathroom and having to shower in the bathtub."

"When we tried to check in, we were shocked to hear that the Hotel was overbooked and told by receptionist only when checking in. (Baggages were safekept in the hotel before checking in time.) We were asked to check-in to their sister’s hotel which is far from the current hotel(25 mins by bus + walk) and nothing was given to us to help us get there. But, due to our heavy baggages, we had to repeatedly ask the staff member for a room in the current hotel. Hence, the hotel staff returned our room where The room’s toilet is out of order, we have to go to the basement’s toilet when necessary. Luckily the staff was nice and tried to accommodate and gave us free breakfast due to the inconvenience. I am disappointed by how the hotel management treats their guest and there should have been a procedure in place (eg. compensation for guests by providing taxi/uber to and from the hotel due to the lack of room)"

"I didn't realize it was a HOSTEL when I booked, which was a bummer. It's very close to the train station and Cologne Cathedral, just a few hundred meters' walk, making transport, shopping, and dining incredibly convenient. The only issue was the lack of air conditioning. To be fair, many buildings in the old town don't have AC, and usually, it's fine. However, Cologne has been exceptionally hot these past few days, in the 30s°C, which was really unbearable. (Normally, it's only around 20°C this time of year, and AC wouldn't be needed at all.) The breakfast was very basic: a few types of bread, three kinds of cold cuts... and there were even signs prohibiting taking too much or wasting food. Honestly, it's not worth spending an extra hundred-plus for such a breakfast. Just a short walk away, McDonald's offers a much more satisfying meal for 10-15 euros. Also, check-in is self-service via a machine, and you have to scan a QR code for breakfast, which clearly saves on staff. However, the staff were relatively friendly and offered services like luggage storage."

"It was very conveniently located near Cologne Cathedral and the station. I only added breakfast once, but it was very delicious. There was a bar just below the hotel, serving fresh beer from "Fruh," the name of the hotel, which I went to for dinner (there was no discount). The Eisbein and fresh sausages were also very delicious. The room was spacious and clean. When I booked, I requested a non-smoking room near the elevator, and that was what I got, but I wish I had requested a room with a bathtub."

"Everything from the environment to the service was excellent! I parked for 33 minutes to unload luggage and then had to move my car. When I left the parking lot to pay, the attendant told me that since I only exceeded the 30-minute free parking by three minutes, I didn't need to pay!
