The property is surrounded by an area with a multitude of restaurants, stuff to do, etc.
The hotel itself was average. Elevators need upgraded, the hallways seemed like they need an upgrade. The rooms were pretty nice though. The hotel had a scent to it. Not necessarily bad, but a distinct scent.

Upon check in the young lady told me my debit card did not work so I gave her a credit card . I soon discovered that there was a charge on my credit card but there were also 2 charges on my debit card . Rather than apologizing she told me the debit card charges would eventually reverse. One has reversed so far one had been reversed. On my second night there I pointed out that our room had not been cleaned and they sent us towels. The door from the lobby to the stairwell was broken. All in all it was a terrible experience.

Site is having renovations done. They have a sign posted stating they will charge you 60 dollars if you don’t wipe your feet before entering. The elevator looks unsafe and smells like there was an electrical fire somewhere in it. Our room door has broken area where it looks like someone broke into it with a crowbar.
We checked in on Friday, Saturday morning the cleaning crew came into the room without knocking, realized we were in the room walks back out slamming door, when I go to see what’s go on they have their phone up with a message asking if the room needs cleaned because they don’t speak English. And didn’t even offer a texted apology for busting in my room!

Dried mud everywhere! Elevator was beat up and sketchy. Shower water got lukewarm for about 5 minutes on the highest setting and then turned freezing cold. Pictures makes it look updated but it’s was done poorly.

There was more than one parking spot with broken glass in it and upon check in we were asked to bring all our belongings in and lock the car because break ins were so common.

The hotel was very dirty, room was ice cold, smoke detector was hanging from the wall, vent in bathroom was out of the wall and the fold out couch was awful

For the price, it was acceptable. Especially with the perk of having hot breakfast and a large TV in the room. The elevator needs immediate attention, however. I have no idea how it’s passed inspections. I also was a bit annoyed when I asked what end our room was on… and then asked if there was an entrance down there, the front desk lady said “yes”… but when we got down there, hands full of luggage while it was rainy and cold, we find out the key reader doesn’t work. After we walked all the way down to the main entrance and I said something about it, I was told “yeah… you can’t enter but you can exit from it.” 🙄 I also didn’t enjoy the permanent night light in the room that can’t be turned off, but maybe some people who don’t like it completely dark when sleeping will think it’s a cool feature. Overall, it was okay for the price, but I probably wouldn’t stay again while traveling.

The rooms were pretty good although the hair dryer in mine was ridiculous. I had to hold the button on the base down with my elbow to dry my hair. A standard hair dryer would be better than a base that is not hanging. No water pressure even after adjusting the settings on the shower head. Towels were plentiful and good. Lobby area was freezing cold, staff wearing coats, breakfast area cold making eggs and sausage cold as well.
