"Staff and hotel are very accomodating during a time when the airport was closed and tourists required to stay longer than intended. All of the staff were friendly, greeting you with warmth and doing all the can to look after you. Hotel in a very good location. Very short walk to the beach and restaurants. Pharmacy and mini marts nearby for any supplies as well. I hope to come back to Noumea one day and would gladly stay at Le Lagon Hotel"

"I made a reservation for one night in New Caledonia, but the facilities were clean and Christmas, so I had a delicious breakfast at the breakfast buffet. It's a bit unfortunate that I didn't exchange money because it was the end of the year, but I rested well."

It may not be what you would expect from a Hilton, but the room was spacious and comfortable. Unfortunately, I couldn't figure out how to use the washing machine in the room, so I couldn't use it.
