Hangting Hotel Hotels in Dali City

The room was quite clean, but the vanity design was inefficient; water easily spilled out, and my toiletries bag either got wet on the counter or there was nowhere to put it. The hotel toiletries were only in a resealable bag, containing just a toothbrush and toothpaste, and there were no hand towels on the vanity! The experience wasn't great! Furthermore, the service was unsatisfactory. After entering the room, I called the front desk and learned they didn't have a crib. Since I have a 2-year-old who doesn't sleep well and I was worried about him falling out of bed, I wanted to upgrade the room by paying the difference. However, they refused the upgrade, saying I had used the vanity (washed my hands upon entering) and sat on the bed, and the housekeeping staff had already left. They said they would change the room and couldn't resell it, and even suggested I book another room. As a regular member of Huazhu Hotels Group, I can understand, but I can't! This outcome was definitely unsatisfactory!

We checked in around 3 PM on January 19th, 2026. A special shout-out to the two young women at the front desk! We were a family of four, and my 8-year-old daughter raved about them. Because we had a large suitcase, they patiently showed us around to see rooms that suited our needs, and then kindly offered desserts and fruit to keep the little one from getting hungry. These two front desk staff greatly enhanced the hotel's reputation. The hotel's location is also excellent, super close to the old town. Highly recommended!

The phone communication said that the room was left with the elevator room, there was a load-bearing column in the room, the room type was not easy to say that it could be upgraded, but it was necessary to add money. Said that breakfast coupons can be sent after the upgrade. Stayed in so many hotels, the first time I heard such a statement. Today, I stayed in the whole season, and I haven't spoken yet. I took the initiative to upgrade my business bed room, and I didn't say that I had to add money! Sure enough, there is still a gap between Hanting and the whole season. The only advantage is that it is close to the high-speed rail station and can be reached on foot. It is not to catch the high-speed rail early. It is definitely not here.

The hotel has a great location, right across from March Street and close to the North Gate restaurants. Public transportation is also very convenient. The hotel facilities are complete and clean. There are even staff to help with laundry and toileting. The front desk staff are very friendly and helpful; they even gave us fresh flower cakes when we left. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Dali.

The breakfast was good, the room was clean, and the facilities were nice and sufficient for a one-night stay. Everything was comfortable and well organized. The hotel has a great location with parking available for those driving. There's a shopping mall downstairs, and plenty of shared bikes make getting around very convenient! Facilities: The hotel is quite new, probably recently opened. Service: The service was exceptional. They greeted us whenever we bumped into them in the hallway and asked if we needed anything. They even upgraded our room at check-in. When our travel companions weren't initially assigned to the same floor, the receptionist and housekeeping manager worked tirelessly to get us a room. They truly put a lot of effort into serving every guest. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Xiaguan!

This time I was on a business trip and took the opportunity to travel. I spent a long time choosing this hotel. The transportation is convenient, and it is very close to every place I want to go. I stayed on the first floor. Before I checked in, the hotel called to remind me that there might be noise from the roadside and asked if I minded. After I checked in, I found that I didn't hear any noise, but they still thoughtfully put earplugs in the room. In addition, Erhai Lake is just outside the door, and the view is also very cool.

Huazhu Hotels is the top choice for travel! We happened to find a newly opened Hanting Hotel in the city center this time. It was incredibly clean and cozy, and the receptionist was super enthusiastic and energetic! She recommended many hotels to us, and the breakfast rice noodles were absolutely delicious!
