GGuest UserWe booked two rooms, so I'm leaving two reviews, which I wouldn't do if I wasn't genuinely satisfied. The hotel's cleanliness, facilities, and the staff's hospitality were all excellent. There are a few minor areas for improvement, but they're largely negligible. The complimentary food and drinks were fantastic; the owner's thoughtfulness is sure to bring them even more success. We'll definitely be back the next time we visit Dali.

MMengjiangoooThe facilities are brand new and well-equipped, and the service is exceptional. They helped us with our luggage and even saw us off to our car. Every day, they delivered breakfast and afternoon tea to our room, along with tremella soup. They were always ready to assist with any request. This is a truly fantastic hotel, and I love the exterior design. You can get some great photos without even leaving the hotel.

AAnonymous UserOur family had a wonderful stay and were thoroughly impressed by the breathtaking views and exceptional hospitality. The room was comfortable, well-appointed, and thoughtfully equipped with quality amenities.
The highlight of our stay was the outstanding service, which rivalled—and even surpassed—many 5-star hotels we have experienced. From prompt communication via WeChat, offering to arrange transportation and consistently checking on our arrival, assisting with bicycle rental, and helping with our luggages, to offering to prepare a special dietary breakfast for our early departure, the team consistently went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Their genuine warmth, attentiveness, and dedication made our stay truly memorable.
The only minor issue was a slight sewage smell at times, but it did not affect our overall experience. We would happily return and highly recommend this property.

GGuest UserFirst of all, I want to book it by reading the comments. I want to be on the edge of the ancient city of Dali. It will be convenient and quiet. It takes about 5 minutes to walk to the east gate of the ancient city. I booked two nights and sent it. I sent it. I added WeChat one day earlier. I understand some things I want to ask. After I arrive, the front desk brother. The younger sister. Very kind and enthusiastic. If you want to know anything, you can ask them. The room booked is big and clean. The breakfast is different for two days. It is also delicious. The accommodation experience is very happy. I recommend everyone to stay.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel boasts a clean and elegant natural wood interior design, with an artistic wall in the lobby that's absolutely stunning and perfect for photos. The breakfast area is bright and airy, with tidy and spacious tables and chairs, creating a quiet and comfortable atmosphere. The amenities were an even bigger surprise: the self-service laundry room has multiple washer-dryer combos available at all times, complete with clear instructions, making laundry and drying a breeze while traveling – super convenient! The gym is well-equipped with treadmills, strength training machines, and yoga gear. The floor is clearly sectioned, so you can work out whenever you want, without missing a beat on your fitness routine even while staying at the hotel.

GGuest UserThis was my first time in Yunnan, and I specifically chose this guesthouse because it's right next to a police station. The front desk staff was incredibly welcoming, helping us with our luggage and giving us great tips for sightseeing. The courtyard is spacious and quiet, and it's only about a ten-minute walk to the ancient city. I really wished I could have stayed another day or two if my itinerary wasn't already set. Coming back around 11 PM, almost all the streetlights were off, but the guesthouse still had a super bright light on at the entrance, which I found incredibly thoughtful. We woke up late, and the kitchen had thoughtfully saved breakfast for us. The breakfast was very plentiful and made fresh by local aunties. Their human touch really surpasses many large hotels. If I ever come back to Dali, or if friends visit, I will definitely highly recommend this guesthouse.

EEri TangHeartwarming Service but Disappointing Room Layout & Location
1. Amazing Staff Support:
• As foreigners without Chinese phone numbers, we couldn't rent the ”Snoopy” electric cars. The staff went above and beyond, using their own accounts to scan, pay, and even remotely lock/unlock the cars for us throughout the day. They even handled the return process when there were technical issues.
• Flexible Service: They were kind enough to serve breakfast at 8:00 AM (30 minutes earlier than scheduled) to accommodate our early plans.
＞＞＞ The staff here are the biggest plus. They were incredibly welcoming, enthusiastic, and supported us throughout our stay in Dali. Whether it was helping with our heavy luggage or providing local recommendations, their hospitality was genuine and much appreciated.
2. Room Layout: Not as Expected
We booked a ”2-bedroom suite,” but it was actually two separate rooms with private entrances and no shared indoor area. The second room was extremely small; with two large suitcases open, there was almost no space to move. The photos on the listing were quite misleading regarding this separate layout.
3. Location & Accessibility
The homestay is in a quiet, isolated area with no shops or restaurants within walking distance. You have to take a taxi for everything (5–30 mins to major attractions), which adds significant costs to your trip.
===＞ While the people here are wonderful, the high price doesn't quite match the room's convenience and location. Best suited for those who don't mind taking taxis and want a quiet stay.

GGuest UserOverall, my stay was incredibly satisfying. The hotel's environment is beautiful; every corner is a picture-perfect spot. The room layout is also very well-designed. We booked a family suite with a sliding door, which was really convenient for separating spaces when traveling with a child. There's a shuttle bus service for coming and going, and the front desk staff were warm and attentive. Every aspect of our experience exceeded expectations. I highly recommend it to everyone, thumbs up!

GGuest UserA wonderful stay at 梵宿 for my friend and I. The service level is top notch and commendable. From the day before we arrive, they keep in touch to know our arrival time. We arrived earlier than expected and they clean the room up in time and allow us to check in early too. Love our butler 波波. She is always ready to take care of us. We have a friend who visited us but not stay and she gave us an additional complimentary boat ticket to visit 小普陀 and additional complimentary afternoon tea too. The room is spacious and clean, the view is beautiful and this area is calming and relaxing. We joined the complimentary photography and the pictures are memorable. Love the breakfast too! It’s rotated day to day and it tastes delicious. The location is an hour away from the train station but it’s worth the journey. Overall 10/10 experience and I would be back to stay here! If you like a calm relaxing and enjoyable stay it’s much recommended!

The bedding was incredibly soft, skin-friendly, and fresh, making for a super comfortable stay. The whole house is equipped with smart home features, which are simple and convenient to use – a real blessing for anyone who loves ease. The owner was warm and thoughtful, patiently answering all our questions and even recommending some local, lesser-known activities, which was incredibly heartwarming. The location is also convenient for getting around. The overall experience was top-notch. If you're coming to Dali, choosing this place is a no-brainer. I genuinely recommend it to all my friends!
