I started reading Da Bing's books in 2014 and longed for the life in the books. Finally, in 2024, I had the time and courage to come to Yunnan alone. Staff at the reception always do their best to be friendly and helpful to guests. Free Wi-Fi is available in the rooms and communal areas. Free luggage storage is provided at the reception, train, coach tickets and further travelling service(individual or group tour) with a reasonable charge are also available. Great location and a nice modern hostel inside the city walls. Unfortunately the two others in the room had there stuff everywhere, unsure if this really was those or the hostel not removing less left by previous guests. Staff were friendly and helped me book my bus to the next location but did give some incorrect information about the things to do in the local area
