"Mengjing Hotel Dali is a wonderful place to stay. It is very close to the south gate of Dali Ancient Town, which makes it very convenient for exploring the area. The hotel is very clean, and the bed is extremely comfortable, making it easy to rest well after a long day.
The front desk staff are very friendly and kind, they always greet you with a smile and are willing to help anytime you need assistance. They even allowed us to have breakfast in our room, which made the stay feel even more comfortable and thoughtful.
Overall, the atmosphere feels warm and welcoming, almost like being at home. A great stay experience in Dali, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area."

"This guesthouse is perfect for photos and also great for a relaxing getaway. The biggest highlight is the amazing sea view from the room; the floor-to-ceiling windows face Erhai Lake directly, so you can see the Cangshan mountains and the clouds from your bed. The balcony loungers are also perfect for just chilling out. The room is well-equipped, the bedding is comfortable, and the soundproofing is good, ensuring a quiet and restful environment. The breakfast, especially the rice noodles and soy milk, was delicious! 😋 My child loved it so much and wanted to stay another day, but our plans changed, so we'll have to come back next time."

"The room was clean and well-maintained, and the decor was lovely – not overly extravagant, but very cozy! My family was really happy with it. I've been to Dali many times, and this hotel offers excellent value for money, especially with the great breakfast. There's also a direct drinking water dispenser in the room. The hotel's garden, coupled with Erhai Lake right outside, creates an absolutely stunning, idyllic view."

An absolute welcoming place to stay. Host are friendly and helpful. Not forgetting all the super hosts of 14 cats and 2 dogs (new addition puppy named ah fu). Rooms are nicely set up with smaller details in place eg: hot water dispenser, jumbo sized humidifier, etc) Location is tucked in an alley 2 mins walk away from main road. Easy 10 mins walk to gucheng. Everywhere else can be didi easily. Played with ah fu a little before saying goodbye to this lovely place. Please stay healthy to all my fur friends

We stayed at Lishe seaview resort hotel for 2 nights. The hotel upgraded us to a two-room apartment which I did not expect! The apartment had spectacular view of Erhai in the living room and master bedroom. I had the foresight of having one free and easy day and we pretty much stayed in most of the time to soak in the view. The staff service was amazing. The team reached out to me via trip.com the day before we check in (fantastic initiative) as overseas visitors like me are not familiar with the WeChat usage. When we arrive, the staff were on standby to receive us and bring us to the apartment as we got there via our own driver. The hotel sent nightly desert (white fungus) to our apartment. One important aspect of the hotel is the delicious and wide spread of breakfast. The breaky was on the highest floor offering great views of Erhai, and the lady attendant there was polite, cheerful and has great service. When we checked, the hotel staff came to the apartment and send us to the car. They also presented a farewell bag of goodies - including rose Chinese cakes (which were super delicious!), tea and sweets. It was an awfully thoughtful gesture. I had the rose Chinese cake during breaky and loved them. So I was super happy to find them in the farewell gift. I would strongly recommend a stay here if you are in Dali. Fellow Singaporeans- you would love this place! I think even if I did not get the upgrade, I would have loved the view too. Just keep one day of doing nothing and enjoy the beautiful view and the hotel hospitality. The hotel staff were service oriented, always smiling, polite and helpful. I mean every staff we encountered, even the cleaning staff! This hotel was a great highlight of our Dali stay. I would definitely come back to stay at Lishe when next back to Dali.

A very tastefully designed hotel with a cozy and welcoming lobby. The inner courtyard and garden deserve special mention – a beautiful, unique oasis with many plants, flowers, trees, and inviting seating areas that create a wonderful atmosphere to relax and feel at home. Our room was very spacious, comfortable, and equipped with everything one could need. Everything was spotlessly clean. The service was good, and the staff were consistently friendly and helpful. Breakfast is offered via a small but well-chosen menu. Communication worked very well via WeChat using the translation function. We were especially grateful to the young staff member who helped us organize our onward journey to Shaxizhen 沙溪镇. A big thank you to everyone at the hotel – we felt very comfortable and are happy to recommend it to others.

The hotel is located on Yuji Island in Shuanglang Town, very close to the Sun Palace and Moon Palace. It's a waterfront guesthouse, and the first floor is quite nicely furnished. The room air conditioning and curtains are smart-controlled. The breakfast is customized, with many varieties but small portions; the rice noodles were particularly delicious! The room furniture is very simple, and the bathtub on the terrace looks a bit out of place. The hotel staff's service attitude is average; they don't proactively greet guests upon arrival.

I had a soothing and comfortable short stay at 山隅一舍. The staff was very personable, accommodating, and kind, proactively offering tea/coffee and prepared fruit. The room was clean and had a great view of the courtyard. At check-in, she even offered to upgrade the two-bed room I had booked to a room with a single larger bed but I was happy to stay in the original room as it was already prepared. I stillfound it to be a very thoughtful offer. The beds were also equipped with heating mats, which offered great sleep in the winter weather. The neighbors have some roosters that rise early, but I found it quite charming and fitting for the “out of the big city” ambiance. I could honestly just sit in the courtyard all day watching the cat and the fish. It was truly a tranquil oasis in a town that sees many domestic and international tourists. The breakfast also tasted clean, fresh, and was promptly prepared by the host when I woke up. She was also happy to offer recommendations to both myself and other guests (I even overheard her going the extra mile, offering to pickup pastries for the other guests to try at their request). The B&B is situated very close to the ancient town without being overwhelming, which although quite commercialized, is still a fun stroll since it’s nearby. The location is also a short DiDi ride away from many sights along Erhai Lake. Dali is full of independently-run accommodations and shops like this, but this one stood out for its great hospitality and soothing environment. The cost performance was also great. A hidden gem for sure!

This is a beautiful hotel wonderfully taken care of by a team of dedicated enthusiastic young people who really took such great care of us. Because of them I would revisit Dali and choose to stay at this hotel again. The rooms have nice deco, are warm, even toilet seats have warm covers, comfortable with great unblocked view of Erhai and when sunrises you can lie in bed to watch the mountains across turn gold or crimson. Breakfast and tea is provided, with footbaths and even a photography service. The setup for photography is tasteful and they even provide pretty dresses for photography. It is a quieter location than the west side of Erhai and hence more restful. The seagulls were right in front of the hotel we didn't have to squeeze with the crowds on the west side. Thank you to the wonderful team!
