"The night view was great. The two ladies at the front desk were incredibly kind and patient. However, the bathroom wasn't very clean; the toilet was a bit dirty, probably because it's not a new hotel. Also, the outdoor table in the view room was dusty. The water was very hot, and the mini-fridge didn't work. Everything else was pretty good."

The location was also very convenient, with easy access to shopping, dining, and other necessities. One suggestion would be to include the hotel's Chinese address on booking platforms, as it could make it easier for Chinese-speaking travelers to use ride-hailing services. Overall, the hotel was very quiet and provided a comfortable and relaxing stay."

"My wife and I specifically chose this hotel within the ancient city for our wedding photoshoot. The view was great, the room layout was well-designed and comfortable. Its location right in the ancient city meant we could easily explore all sorts of local delicacies. It's also very close to Erhai Lake and Cangshan Mountain. The facilities are brand new, and all the toiletries in the room are individually wrapped, which is very hygienic. From the rooftop terrace, you can catch the sunrise as early as 6 AM, saving you the trip to Longkan Pier. My wife said she'd definitely bring our family to stay here again next time."

"This beachfront trip led me to an absolutely perfect sea-view B&B, and the overall experience totally exceeded my expectations! The cleanliness was impeccable; there was no musty smell upon entering, and the bedding was pristine, fluffy, and felt dry and hair-free. The entire floor and all the corners were wiped down spotlessly, and the bathroom counter had no standing water. The location is superb, just a few steps to the beach, with plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby, making sightseeing incredibly convenient. The owner and staff were exceptionally thoughtful, sending parking and travel tips in advance, and were always on hand when needed. The room itself boasts a huge private balcony with a leisure table and chairs, offering direct, breathtaking sea views. The bathroom features standard wet/dry separation, with a clearly defined shower and vanity area, so the floor dries quickly after use. All the appliances and furniture are brand new, making for an incredibly comfortable stay. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a sea view!"

"Our family of five (two adults, three children) stayed at this newly renovated guesthouse and had a truly wonderful experience. It's a typical Bai-style courtyard building, full of character and charm. We booked a two-bedroom, one-living room unit, and the space was incredibly spacious and airy, with a clear separation between the bedrooms and living area, making it very comfortable for a family. The entire place is decorated in a modern and elegant style, and the bathrooms even have smart toilets, showing great attention to detail. The room was spotlessly clean, the bedding was neat and fresh, and drinking water was available in unlimited supply, making daily life very convenient. The guesthouse owner was warm, friendly, and provided attentive service. The location is another major highlight – it's very close to Dali Ancient City, which made getting around and sightseeing incredibly easy. It's perfect for both family trips and leisure stays, offering excellent value for money. We'll definitely choose to stay here again next time we visit Dali!"

GGuest UserThe first hotel on our Yunnan trip was absolutely fantastic! The moment we stepped into the courtyard, we were instantly charmed by the beautiful flowers and plants, and seeing the adorable cats and dogs just lifted our spirits. The room was very clean, and the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, which is one of my must-haves when choosing accommodation. The bedding was super comfortable, and the bed was great for sleeping. They even had a direct drinking water dispenser in the room, which felt much safer than an electric kettle. The guesthouse is just over a ten-minute walk to the South Gate of the ancient town. The walk back takes a few minutes longer because there's an uphill slope right before you reach the guesthouse, but if you rent a scooter, it's no problem at all. They even thoughtfully provided a foot bath tub in the room – soaking my feet after a long day was so relaxing. The staff at the guesthouse were all young men, and they were warm and welcoming without being intrusive. If I come back to Dali, I'll definitely choose this guesthouse again.

The view outside is just as stunning as Longkan Wharf and the popular 'S' Bay, so there's no need to go anywhere else once you're here. There are even local photographers outside who can take great pictures. The hotel staff are excellent, and in the afternoon, they offer complimentary mini desserts like flower cakes, Pu'er wine, and a variety of beverages. The public areas are spacious, and the breakfast spread is fantastic, with both Chinese and Western options. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied!

GGuest UserI saw Erhai Lake, admired Cangshan Mountain, and explored the ancient city, only to discover that the most beautiful scenery was actually right inside the hotel! 😄 In the evening, I even got to witness a breathtaking sunset over Erhai and Cangshan. It was incredibly therapeutic. Even though I've seen the sea before, the beauty of Erhai is truly unique and I like it even more. The hotel boasts an excellent viewing platform, perfect for taking photos or simply unwinding. The rooms and lobby are spotlessly clean. When extending my stay, I just had to inform the staff and they would tidy up the room, showing thoughtful service and meticulous hygiene. It's very close to popular attractions like Yunxiang Mountain, Ideal State, and Xingsheng Bridge, offering convenient direct access. I was also very pleased with the room. It had a large floor-to-ceiling window, providing excellent natural light, and I loved the layout. The inclusion of a Laifen hairdryer was a generous touch and it worked wonderfully. Compared to the hotels we've stayed in Malaysia and Thailand, this place is simply paradise! Even hotels in Kunming fall short; they don't have such a magnificent view. Next time, I definitely want to try their sea view room!

GGuest UserThe room facilities are great, and there's a big balcony where you can enjoy views of Cangshan Mountain. You can even see the Three Pagodas from the rooftop. The landlady is very friendly, and the breakfast she personally prepares is excellent, especially the large fried dough sticks. She also arranged for us to be picked up from the station. I'll definitely stay here again next time.

GGuest UserTraveling with my elderly parents, convenience was key, and I'm so glad we chose this hotel instead of staying in Haixi. Xiaguan District is where the locals live in Dali, and it's incredibly convenient for food, drinks, and entertainment. Right downstairs from the hotel, there are all sorts of local specialty restaurants. The hotel's location is excellent, and the views are simply stunning; you open the door and Erhai Lake is right there. The breakfast selection is rich, with rice noodles and regular noodles available all day. Since my elderly parents prefer simple dinners, we often asked the hotel to stir-fry two vegetable dishes and prepare some rice vermicelli for us, and they always accommodated our requests without hesitation. The service is truly exceptional – the front desk young lady was gentle and warm-hearted, and the restaurant young lady was also incredibly kind and enthusiastic. Overall, among all the hotel staff I've encountered, everyone, from the airport pick-up to the front desk and even the maintenance staff, was patient and welcoming. I would definitely choose this hotel again if I have the chance; it's particularly well-suited for families and friends traveling together.

GGuest UserThis B&B in Shuanglang truly offers 'sea-view freedom' – I never wanted to leave! The room's arched large window acts as a natural frame, making every photo look amazing. The natural light in the room is wonderfully soothing, and the minimalist wooden furnishings create a cozy atmosphere. Just curling up on the window-side sofa and zoning out is incredibly therapeutic. Opening the window reveals the Erhai Lake right before your eyes, with the water, distant mountains, and clouds spread out in a breathtaking vista. In the afternoon, we'd set out some tea and snacks on the terrace and simply sit there, enjoying the breeze off the lake for hours, without a single worry. As evening fell, watching the sunset paint over the lake was truly magical. Waking up naturally each day and drawing open the curtains to reveal the entire sea – now *that's* the relaxed vibe Dali should have.

The location was perfect for us — tucked away in a peaceful corner near Dali Ancient City, yet only a short walk to the shops, cafés, and attractions. What truly made the stay special was the hospitality. The owner was incredibly warm and welcoming, helping us with our luggage, preparing breakfast every morning, and always making sure we were comfortable. The breakfast was simple but delicious, especially the rice noodles, which we looked forward to each morning. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. We especially loved the beautiful courtyard and the overall peaceful atmosphere. A couple of things to note for families and travellers with larger luggage. The beautiful courtyard has a koi pond running through parts of it, which adds to the charm, but I was constantly keeping an eye on my kids as I was worried they might accidentally fall in. Thankfully, nothing happened, but it’s something parents with young children may want to be aware of. Another consideration is luggage. Vehicles can stop near the property, but you’ll still need to carry your luggage across parts of the courtyard. If you’re staying on Levels 2 or 3, there is no lift, so luggage has to be carried up manually. The owner was kind enough to help us, but it’s still worth considering if you’re travelling with multiple large suitcases. For our family room, one small downside was that although the room was very spacious, there was only one air-conditioner serving the entire unit. The smaller bedroom felt a little stuffy and warm at night. That said, the owner was very responsive and quickly provided us with a fan the next day, which made a huge difference and solved the issue for us. Overall, the warmth of the host, comfortable rooms, delicious breakfast, and peaceful setting far outweighed these minor inconveniences. We’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cosy and authentic stay in Dali. ❤️🏔️✨

Situated on Yuji Island, you can enjoy the shimmering waters of Erhai Lake from a lounge chair on the terrace – a tranquil oasis right at your doorstep. The owner was incredibly welcoming and hospitable, and the hotel is filled with thoughtfully designed gardens and charming details, including a rooftop terrace perfect for photos! Beautiful scenery, the vibrant colors of Yunnan! Thank you to the butler for the attentive service! This is my first review on Ctrip, and I genuinely think this hotel is excellent! While my experience exploring Dali Ancient City was rather lukewarm, this hotel left a lasting impression.

GGuest UserA wonderful stay at 梵宿 for my friend and I. The service level is top notch and commendable. From the day before we arrive, they keep in touch to know our arrival time. We arrived earlier than expected and they clean the room up in time and allow us to check in early too. Love our butler 波波. She is always ready to take care of us. We have a friend who visited us but not stay and she gave us an additional complimentary boat ticket to visit 小普陀 and additional complimentary afternoon tea too. The room is spacious and clean, the view is beautiful and this area is calming and relaxing. We joined the complimentary photography and the pictures are memorable. Love the breakfast too! It’s rotated day to day and it tastes delicious. The location is an hour away from the train station but it’s worth the journey. Overall 10/10 experience and I would be back to stay here! If you like a calm relaxing and enjoyable stay it’s much recommended!
