This stay is the best ever. Not only is the guesthouse clean and beautifully located right across from Erhai Lake. But what impressed me most was the hospitality and service—especially from Joy. From picking us up at the train station, to helping us arrange an EV bike rental (even though we eventually decided not to), to personally taking us to dinner and recommending dishes, trusting us with her dog Hamburg, and specially arranging for us to be dropped off at the station when we left even though she was busy with work. Joy made sure everything was well taken care of. She is a true asset to the guesthouse: friendly, sincere in her kind gestures without expecting anything in return, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. What we admire most is that Joy treats her dog as a family member. She is truly a person filled with loving kindness and will always be blessed for this. The part we appreciated most was getting to spend quality time with her dog, Hamburg, who brought us so much happiness and filled our days with joy. Hamburg is a loving dog with a heart of gold. Anyone especially dog lovers would truly fall in love with him. Together, Joy and Hamburg make the best combination. They brought smiles and joy to us. They are the real assets of the place. We hope they will be greatly rewarded. Thank you, Joy, for giving us the best souvenir in China—Hamburg's most loved toy. This is the best gift ever! And thank you for keeping in touch with us whenever you can, including sharing updates on Hamburg. It means a lot to us.😊 Great hospitality was also shown by others on the team. Miki served us breakfast every morning with a smile and was always at the reception keeping Hamburg company. She not only looks after him but also make sure he is in good hands, safe and happily running about. Miki carried Hamburg to bid us farewell. She also updated us on Hamburg's progress daily, which we greatly appreciated. knowing that he is happy made us happy.👍 Most importantly, the owner, Krystina, made us feel at home and welcomed. She has a warm personality, is friendly, and treats her staff like family. She is also in the midst of learning English for self-improvement. She has the willingness to learn and the kind of down-to-earth attitude that most hotel owners don't. We felt comfortable being with her, and she even hosted a farewell dinner for us. What we love most is that she is an animal lover and even included Hamburg in the dinner. She has a heart full of compassion. We had a great time together, and the night ended with smiles and laughter. We started as strangers but ended as friends.🙂 We were reluctant to leave after three nights, and if given the chance, we would love to extend our stay to a week in the future. This place is truly a gem, thanks to the wonderful management and the people behind it. We will surely recommend friends to your guesthouse—it is a gem hidden in Dali. This stay exceeded my expectations! The room was incredibly spacious, not cramped at all, and the decor was very tasteful with thoughtful little details everywhere – perfect for photos. I was lucky enough to catch the local market thanks to the owner's recommendation and bought some wild dried mushrooms at a great price. I shipped them straight back home, and it was a really fruitful trip. The breakfast ingredients were fresh and delicious, with a perfect variety of dishes. It was a comfortable and pleasant stay. Choosing this place for a trip to Dali was definitely worth it, and I'd consider staying here again next time!

The homestay is very fresh and quiet. When you enter the yard, your fatigue disappears instantly. It is very good to sit in the yard and bask in the sun and see the scenery! The unobstructed view outside the window of the room is excellent, especially when you just wake up in the morning and open the curtains, it is too comfortable! ! The only pity is that you can't see the Bohai Sea in the room, otherwise there is green and sea view, but fortunately, it is very close to the Bohai Sea and it is at the door. The scenery at the door is very good. Elders walk, young people ride, children are suitable for playing in the water. I saw someone picnic on the lawn and hung a hammock in the woods. It feels good to be good. I will try it next time. I like this feeling of very relaxing accommodation experience!

This absolutely deserves a full score for a sea-view guesthouse! The panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offer a direct view of Erhai Lake and Cangshan Mountain. You can watch the sunrise from your bed and see the sunset paint the lake. The 270-degree unobstructed view totally exceeded my expectations. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft, and all the bathroom amenities were provided. Both the guesthouse's terrace and courtyard are perfect for photos, and it's just a few steps out to the Erhai Ecological Corridor, which is super convenient for walks or cycling. The owner was incredibly warm and thoughtful, taking care of pickup and breakfast with great attention to detail. This was the most satisfying stay I've had in Dali. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I visit Erhai Lake. Highly recommended!

I've been to Dali several times, but this is my first time staying in a traditional-style courtyard like this. The owner keeps the courtyard meticulously maintained, and there are two adorable little cats – truly an ideal cat life! They have a good variety of room types, and there's also a large terrace on the third floor where you can overlook the distant Cangshan Mountain. But the service here is what really stands out. Everyone affectionately calls the owner 'Sister Mo.' From booking to checking out, she was incredibly warm and friendly, offering many great recommendations for restaurants and touring routes that won't disappoint. In the mornings, you can even enjoy Sister Mo's unique Zajiangmian (Sichuan meat sauce noodles) breakfast, which perfectly suits a Sichuan palate. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit. It's very close to the ancient city but without the hustle and bustle, making it super convenient for getting around.

I found this hotel last minute in the evening. When I went in to ask about parking, a hotel staff member came out to help me find a spot and even assisted with my luggage. The room was clean, tidy, and comfortable. The service was exceptional; when I couldn't find the AC switch around 2 AM, I messaged them and received a prompt reply. When checking out, they even gave small gifts to my children. The service was incredibly thoughtful and comforting. I'll definitely be staying here again.

The hotel offers a fantastic view, especially from the rooftop common area where you can see the beautiful Erhai Lake – perfect for photos. The owner is incredibly thoughtful; they offer a pick-up service, and even reimbursed our taxi fare when we arrived. On the second morning, they brought breakfast directly to our room at 10 AM since we hadn't gotten up yet. We enjoyed breakfast in the room while watching squirrels hopping outside – the environment is truly wonderful. The owner also runs a tea business and even gave us some tea as a souvenir when we left. They truly made us feel at home.

The rooms are cozy and well-maintained, and the corridor is exquisitely decorated with small plants, wood, and rocks, creating a natural and calming vibe. The property is situated among preserved buildings that share the same traditional architectural design, making you feel as though you’ve traveled back in time to the olden days. It’s a perfect blend of history and comfort. Mr. Wang, the gentleman who manages the place, is incredibly friendly and helpful. He went out of his way to provide excellent advice on where to visit in Dali, which made my trip even more enjoyable. Overall, this is a hidden gem that offers a unique experience, combining traditional aesthetics with warm hospitality. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and memorable stay in Dali!

To avoid waking up early to see the sunrise at Longkan Pier, I specifically looked for a hotel nearby. It's right by a popular photo spot, so the location is super convenient. The breakfast was also good, and the portions were huge – we definitely couldn't finish it all. They even provided complimentary fruit and candy upon check-in. One downside was that on the day we checked in, the owner couldn't reach us because we didn't have a Chinese phone number. We ended up dragging two large suitcases quite a distance, and some parts of the path had obstacles, so we had to lift them a few times – it was exhausting! Thankfully, when we checked out, the owner helped us take our luggage to the nearest taxi stand, which was the Sunlight convenience store.

Dali Majiuyi Zaigu Seaview Courtyard Guesthouse is absolutely stunning! The facilities are high-end, and the rooms are exceptionally well-equipped. The large floor-to-ceiling windows offer expansive views, and enjoying a bath in the tub while watching the sunset is pure bliss. The setting is breathtaking, with a beautifully landscaped courtyard. The sea-view terrace is so picturesque, every casual shot looks like a professional photograph. The service is incredibly thoughtful. Our butler was warm and attentive, providing complimentary luggage transfer and even welcome fruit upon check-in. The cleanliness is impeccable. The bedding is fresh and soft, daily deep cleaning is performed, and even the hidden corners are spotless. It's undoubtedly the top choice for a holiday by Erhai Lake!
