The owner, being a designer themselves, has maximized texture in every aspect, from how light and shadow enhance the building's aesthetic to the selection and pairing of various materials. Each room offers a unique view, with the balcony extending seamlessly from the room, complemented by plants on the terrace, creating a beautiful blend of elegance and enjoyment. The attention to detail truly shows the owner's dedication to this hotel. From the subtle texture of a small bell to the thoughtful pairing of a vase and candles, and from the color scheme of the pool to the harmonious use of full glass panes and wooden doors – everything reveals the owner's masterful control over design and their perfectly balanced operation, all working together. So, whether you're in the hallway, by the pool, in the restaurant, at the coffee bar, or even in the hotel's own craft shop, you can easily snap amazing photos. "The location is super convenient, quite close to the airport. Right across the street is the cruise terminal, which we used to take a boat to Xizhou. The Wetland Park is just a short walk downstairs, perfect for kids to dig around for pebbles.
The twin beds can be pushed together, and there are bed rails available. The bathtub was very clean!
On the first night, the air conditioning was a bit noisy. I messaged Olivia after midnight, and she responded promptly. Maintenance came the next day, and the noise was significantly reduced that night. They even offered a complimentary airport drop-off service!
Dali can be very humid, but the hotel felt wonderfully dry and comfortable to return to!
Breakfast offered some variety each day. The Chinese dinner was decent, and the Thai food was great for kids!"

"The room was great. I originally booked a 140-degree sea view on a high floor, but when I arrived, I felt the 180-degree view would be better. Luckily, there was a vacant room, and the switch was incredibly smooth. The staff's service attitude was excellent.
The pool was good; if you go before 8:30 AM, it's practically empty, which was fantastic. It's a shame the weather in Dali wasn't great these past few days.
The minibar was complimentary. The Crossing-the-Bridge Noodles for lunch were delicious. The breakfast buffet had a wide selection, though the taste was just average."

"We booked the private manor villa come with private bath pool and private courtyard. However both private pool and courtyard are surprisingly disappointed. The pool was dirty, moldy, there was just left over water inside maybe by the rain, it had a greyish , murky appearance instead of being clean and inviting. When we questioned the butler he then said if you wanted to use we can clean it up.
One of the main reasons we paid extra to book this room was for the private pool, it’s frustrating and disappointing that it was not in a condition we felt comfortable using. Ended up we didn’t use it despite staying for 3 nights.
The courtyard was poorly maintained and look neglected as well. As you can see all cushion was exposed under the rain and when sun comes out it dried it which caused the cushion get mold and stains.
Service overall not bad and helpful. The only incident was when during check in, my wife asked one of the receptionist politely if they could help me make a booking as the place need call to book. We do not have China number , line that can call or app to book. The lady that was serving us was hesitant to book for me and initially told us to book online ourselves until my wife highlighted the reason to her again.
Public place is well maintained, location is good. Walkable distance to ancient town. Also nearby to few other must visit spots.
Overall decent but won’t be coming back."

"My stay at Hilton Dali Resort & Spa was spectacular and truly memorable. The resort itself is impressive, with two towers and beautifully designed spaces. I was delighted to be upgraded to Level 8 and the balcony has a lovely view. The overall atmosphere was luxurious yet welcoming.
Both the gym and pool facilities were excellent, adding to the comfort and enjoyment of my stay. The staff were attentive and professional, ensuring a smooth experience throughout.
Overall, I had an amazing time at the resort and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Dali. I look forward to returning in the future."

"A truly perfect trip!
Here, I enjoyed sunny weather, stunning Erhai Lake views, and a fantastic large balcony. The room layout, including the full-length mirror, was exceptionally beautiful. What sets this hotel apart from others in Ideal State is its deep commitment to the Santorini, Greece-style design. While some other places might only have an exterior that fits the theme, with very ordinary interiors, this hotel extends that Greek Santorini vibe to both its facade and inside the rooms. You can even watch the sunset from bed! And the next morning, with a bit of luck, I captured some amazing 'blue hour' photos. The butler and hotel service were incredibly attentive; basically, anything I needed, the butler would take care of. The afternoon tea, with ginger-syrup drizzled waffles and other delicious treats, was also perfectly to my liking.
Actually, I fell in love with this room when I first saw the hotel six months ago (yes, I even preferred it over others with pools!). So, I saved up and finally came today, half a year later. What can I say? I feel incredibly lucky. The weather forecast had predicted cloudy and rainy days for Dali, but the moment I arrived, it cleared up and stayed sunny until I checked out. Plus, it wasn't too crowded when I visited (it might be peak season later on).
In short, I highly recommend it! If you're planning a trip to Ideal State, definitely come to this hotel and stay in this room!"

"The hotel offers a lot of services which add value to the stay experience. There were self-serve fresh coffee and a variety of herbs/ flower tea selection at the lobby, free laundry services, afternoon high tea and night dessert. We really appreciate passing our clothes which required laundry to the staff and return to collect freshly laundry clothes. The staff is reachable easily via WeChat. They also offer complimentary pick up from the train station. If I really have to pick on something - there is no view in the room I stayed in even though it was bright and spacious. Overall highly recommend a stay."

"During my leisure time, I went to the Seaview Bookstore to await the sunrise, enjoyed three types of tea, made rubbings of horse talismans, and sewed herbal sachets, then took a leisurely walk on the less-traveled forest path. The garden itself has a Kyoto-esque tranquility. The Weishan Braised Pork Er'si at the morning noodle station was the biggest surprise, and the medicinal pork hock with wild mushroom oil was an authentic Yunnan flavor that I instantly fell in love with. For breakfast, you can even choose a Hello Kitty plate, which is super cute! The view right outside the window is stunning, with Cangshan Mountain in full view. This was an excellent staycation experience."

"The hotel is spotless and incredibly quiet and comfortable. The service was absolutely outstanding! Every staff member was dedicated and super friendly to guests. My child experienced altitude sickness for the first time in Yunnan, and the hotel immediately provided oxygen and even offered to accompany us to the doctor. The breakfast was delicious, and room service was very efficient. I highly, highly recommend this place. Before we left, they even gave a small gift to my child. Seriously, I can't recommend this quality hotel enough; it's truly trustworthy."

"The hotel environment is fantastic, truly an escape from the world. We traveled with our child and they upgraded our room for free, which was much larger and came with a courtyard and a terrace, both absolutely beautiful. The service was also incredibly attentive; when my child's clothes and shoes got wet, the butler even brought us a drying rack, hangers, and laundry detergent. There's also a kids' play area that's very clean and new. And the breakfast! It was absolutely delicious! Out of all the hotels we've stayed at from Kunming to Dali, this one had the best breakfast. We rented a car and drove ourselves, and we could park right outside our courtyard, which was very convenient. Our package also included a travel photoshoot, which turned out great. We'll definitely stay here again if we get the chance. We've been missing it ever since we left. Oh, and it's also quite close to the Three Pagodas of Chongsheng Temple and the Old Town."
