Metropark Hotel Reviews

This is a great hotel, located near the Dunhuang Night Market, with convenient food and drink options nearby. It offers parking and excellent service, including proactive pick-up from the train station platform. The hotel is clean and hygienic, with complete facilities and good value for money. It's been a while since I've seen a Grand Metropark hotel, and it's a trustworthy brand.

This stay truly exceeded my expectations, I have to give Metropark Hotel a big shout-out! The room was very spacious, with a wide-open layout that felt far from cramped. The overall cleanliness was exceptional; the bedding and bathroom were spotless, making for a very comfortable stay. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly, providing warm and attentive service, and they were quick to respond to any requests. They helped me check in early in the morning, and even upgraded me to a family room for free – what a pleasant surprise! The room was equipped with a foot-soaking tub, yogurt, and a sleep mask, showing great attention to detail. Metropark Hotel also offered complimentary late-night snacks, which was a thoughtful and heartwarming touch. On departure, they allowed for a late check-out, which greatly facilitated my travel plans. They even provided free pick-up service from the station and a complimentary one-day tour of the western route. Simply fantastic! Both the hardware and the service were impeccable, offering great value for money. I will definitely choose Metropark Hotel again on my next visit.

This is a pretty good hotel. The lobby is upscale, and they kindly offered complimentary breakfast vouchers. The hotel staff were also very good. The only drawback was that the hotel towels had a foot odor. Other than that, I was generally satisfied.

Everything was great, and the service was excellent. They even upgraded my room. The location is super convenient for all the attractions, and parking is easy. The humidifier in the room works wonders for the dry climate, with a large water capacity.

The front desk staff were friendly and the room was relatively clean. There was self-service coffee and tea in the lobby. However, the breakfast was absolutely terrible. One male server in the restaurant had a bad attitude, and the washing machine was both broken and dirty.

Exceeded my expectations! So many pleasant surprises. When I booked, I saw they offered airport pick-up, so I was taken directly to the hotel after landing. At the front desk, they upgraded our room for free. Every day, they also provided late-night congee, foot bath tubs with herbal packs, steam eye masks, and yogurt. The street outside the hotel is a food street with all sorts of Dunhuang specialties, and it's only a 10-15 minute walk to Dunhuang Night Market. It's also very convenient to get to all the main attractions. Highly recommended!

The location is excellent, not far from the night market, and within walking distance to Three Kingdoms Park (Sanjuyijie). The environment is also great, and they even provide foot bath basins for guests, which is a very thoughtful touch. They offer porridge in the evenings. I booked for two nights and was very satisfied.

There are actually many hotels in Dunhuang, and many of them have similar names, so it's crucial to be very careful when booking to avoid reserving the wrong one. This Grand Metropark Hotel is located right by the main road, making its location very prominent. Dining options nearby are also very convenient, with a relatively famous restaurant directly across the street. The hotel rooms are spacious and very bright. What's most worth mentioning is that they provide foot-soaking tubs and disposable foot-soaking bags. For tourists who have been tirelessly exploring Dunhuang, soaking your feet is truly a great way to relieve stress and feel comfortable. While there are many hotels near the Dunhuang Night Market, this particular hotel is only about a five-minute walk from it. The staff are all excellent and actively respond to your needs. This hotel is highly recommended.

Am I a rare case? This is my second time staying at this hotel because I was very satisfied with my stay two years ago when I visited Dunhuang. It offers convenient parking, excellent service, and a very humane 3 PM checkout time.

The environment is great and the location is convenient, close to the Dunhuang Museum and Shazhou Night Market. There are all kinds of delicious food nearby, and it's not noisy at night. Parking is easy, and the breakfast is very rich. The hotel even upgraded us to a family room for free.

This was the most comfortable hotel we stayed at on our Qinghai-Gansu loop trip. The front desk staff were warm and check-in was quick. All the service staff greeted us, making us feel right at home. The room was neat and clean, and the toiletries were excellent. The hotel breakfast had a wide variety of delicious options, especially the beef noodles and lamb vermicelli. They also have their own parking lot, which was a huge plus for us self-drivers. Overall, highly recommended!

This hotel, with its established star rating, offers spacious and well-equipped rooms. However, as it's an older property, the facilities show some age, particularly the split-unit air conditioning in the rooms, which doesn't quite meet star-rated hotel standards. The lobby was also undergoing renovations during my stay. Thankfully, the AC units seem to be new, clean, and perform well. There was an issue with the TV that required multiple service calls before it worked correctly, indicating that service could be improved in terms of response time and attitude. Still, I appreciate the complimentary room upgrade. Moreover, the lobby service when I checked out was excellent, with staff holding the door open for me until I left – a really thoughtful touch. Overall, it was a good stay.

The overall service was quite poor. When I asked the front desk about nearby restaurants, the staff had no smile and seemed annoyed. Every time I called for water, they only sent two bottles. At breakfast, when I arrived, many food items were gone, and they weren't replenished. No one paid attention when I tried to get their attention.

A newly renovated hotel in a good location, making it convenient for getting around. The front desk staff are knowledgeable and efficient with check-ins. The room isn't huge, but it's quite clean!
