The room amenities were a pleasant surprise! The smart air conditioner was very responsive, adjusting the temperature from hot to cold with just one touch. Paired with the Xiaodu voice assistant, I could turn on the lights, open the curtains, and play music simply by speaking, without having to get out of bed the whole time. This really enhanced my stay to the fullest. I'll definitely choose this place again for my next trip! The room view was also amazing, a great start to my Qinghai-Gansu Loop journey. So refreshing! 👍🏻

This was by far the worst hotel we stayed at on our Qinghai-Gansu loop tour, completely lacking any sense of service. From the front desk to the restaurant staff and even the greeters, we felt no warmth and were met with cold faces almost everywhere. The room phone was always unreachable and there were no instructions on how to use it. I really don't understand how this hotel operates and is managed. No matter how grand its appearance, it'll be hard to attract repeat customers with service like that. Quite a disappointment.

The location is excellent with great services. The staff are friendly and helpful. They always try their best to serve you. The only concerns were someone smoke in the non-smoking floor that made the floor smelly. Hotel should minor and make sure no one smoke in non-smoking floors. My rooms TVs were not working properly, expect hotel check all room facilities before customer check in.

I booked this hotel last minute for a sudden business trip. On the way, I accidentally lost my charger, and I urgently needed to work that evening. I contacted the front desk just to try my luck. The staff quickly brought charging equipment and thoughtfully reminded me to call if I needed anything else. The room was meticulously cleaned, even the corners were spotless, and the bed was soft and quiet. I worked late into the night, and there was hardly any noise in the hallway, so I slept very soundly. The location is convenient for getting around, and the overall atmosphere is warm. A small, unexpected hiccup actually made this stay particularly memorable. I'll definitely choose this place again next time because this hotel is just so heartwarming, and the service is incredibly attentive. Aside from the view outside the window, just this detailed and thoughtful service alone left a great impression. It's excellent value for money and well worth staying.

I was extremely impressed with the room. The way it is designed has been very well thought out and it looks as lovely as it is comfortable! The suite had everything we needed including the lovely large bath tub and shower. I loved the space and it would have been ideal for two or three nights in the place. Unfortunately we only stayed for one. It is located near food markets and restaurants and is very close to the train station. The hotel reception was very professional and extremely helpful, they also arranged a car to take us to the train station. The breakfast is standard Chinese style breakfast, I thought it was good and filling, and they offer variety of coffee options with their machine, as well as tea. This hotel is very well organized and designed! I would definitely stay here again if I return to Xining!

This stay exceeded my expectations. The overall environment was clean and tidy, and the lobby decoration was elegant and grand. Upon entering, staff members warmly helped with luggage. Xiao Xi (a staff member) provided attentive and thoughtful service. The room hygiene was meticulously done, with soft and dry bedding. The bathroom had no standing water or odors, and the toiletries were complete and of good quality. The room had good lighting and ventilation, and excellent soundproofing, ensuring a quiet and peaceful night's sleep. The location is superb, making it convenient for commuting, dining, and shopping, with complete surrounding amenities. The breakfast offered a rich variety, including meat, vegetables, pastries, and beverages, all fresh and delicious. The front desk staff, Xiao Xi, had a gentle attitude and responded quickly to requests. The value for money far surpasses hotels in the same price range. It's suitable for both business trips and leisure travel. I've saved this place and will prioritize staying here again next time I visit this city. I genuinely recommend it to all fellow travelers!

It was difficult to find the hotel in the first place when we stepped out of the taxi as we need to enter the building, go up to the 9th floor. Before, we asked surrounding locals ans they had no idea where was our hotel even :) The room were really spacious for 4 people. However, there were one queen bed for, and one big single bed which were not enough for 4 people to sleep in. Also, the room in reality didn't match at all the illustrated images. I suggest the hotel to be more honest with how their rooms look like so future guests wont be shocked as I was in the first place. Nevertheless, the hotel location was excellent. Next to the train station, to the market streets, surrounding mosques and Nanshan Park. We had a great time in Xining.

Check-in: The system was sluggish, and the front desk claimed the internet was down again. Room: We booked for two adults and one child, but the pillows weren't adequately provided. The mini-fridge price list for drinks was on the minibar, but the mini-fridge was empty, so what's the point of the price list? Bathroom: The liquid toiletries were of poor quality, yet they still branded them with the Sanyu logo. The hairdryer was a terrible choice. Breakfast: A complete disaster! No one to seat guests, it was chaotic, and despite many staff members, they were all just milling around with extremely low efficiency. Breakfast hours were 7:00-10:00, and we went at 8:30. The food quality was poor, and the kitchen's on-site management was terrible. I asked for an omelet, and they flat-out said no, only fried eggs, with a firm and take-it-or-leave-it attitude! I was shocked. How did Trip.com select this hotel? How do they supervise and evaluate it? The milk quality was poor, there was no freshly squeezed juice, the coffee was bad, the desserts and bread had no variety and poor quality, and the yogurt wasn't refrigerated nor was it on ice… Complaint Handling: I tried to find the F&B director at the restaurant, but it was the weekend, and he was off. No one in charge was willing to come out. I called Trip.com, who handled it professionally, and then I received a call back from a lobby manager who was clueless. I requested to speak with the hotel's duty manager, and the person who called back was a man responsible for the kitchen, which was fitting. He immediately asked how I wanted to resolve it, implying he wasn't really concerned. I listed out all the issues one by one, and he replied, 'Minor oversight.' Nothing was resolved. Additional points: 1) Unused 'clean' linens and bathrobes were stored in the laundry cart. 2) When checking out at 11:35, there was no one at the front desk, only two concierges, who said everyone had gone for lunch. Excellent management! 👍

During my trip around Qinghai Lake, I stayed at the Kaiyuan Hotel in Xining, and it was a fantastic experience. The hotel is very close to Xining Station, within walking distance, which is super convenient for catching high-speed trains. The front desk staff were very dedicated and proactive in helping with any issues. The hotel breakfast was plentiful, and the restaurant was spacious. They also have an underground parking garage, which is great for those traveling by car. The rooms were clean and tidy, and the bedding was very comfortable. The hotel's surroundings have a well-developed commercial area, making shopping and strolling very convenient. It's close to Xining's shopping streets and night markets. Highly recommended!

This hotel is at the good location . There are bus stop which be very near with this hotel . The bedroom is very clean and very high quality ( 4 stars hotel , AAAA for me ) But the price is not expensive, I recommend everyone to stay here . Thank you for hotel staff . Everyone of hotel staff are helpful , polite and professional staff . I may come back to stay here again in the future if I have opportunities. Because I am very convenient and comfortable , so I am very happy to stay in this high quality hotel .
