GGuest UserHad a fantastic stay at the hotel. The service was excellent. The front desk staff even upgraded my room, provided complimentary breakfast, and gave me some local specialty yogurt. The washing machine was clean and hygienic with a drying service. They provided all the necessary amenities. The room itself was very clean, cozy, and had great natural light and views. They also offered congee delivery and afternoon tea service. The breakfast spread was rich and varied. This hotel is definitely worth staying at. Wishing the hotel great business!

GGuest UserOn this business trip to Xining, I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Xining Chengdong the entire time, and my overall experience was fantastic. I have to especially commend Julie at the front desk; her meticulous service made me feel incredibly welcome.
The hotel is located on Bayi East Road in Chengdong District, right next to Wuyue Plaza, making dining and shopping very convenient. It's also not far from the highway entrance and Xining Station, which is great for both driving and public transport. As a newly opened hotel, the lobby design is elegant, and the room amenities are brand new and complete. The floor-to-ceiling windows offer a wide view, and the room was spotlessly clean. The 24-hour gym and self-service laundry facilities are well-equipped, and the breakfast buffet offers a rich variety, including local Qinghai specialties like yak yogurt and甜醅 (sweet fermented oats).
I arrived feeling exhausted in the evening after a long journey. Julie greeted me with a constant smile and efficiently handled the check-in process. Seeing my heavy luggage, she proactively offered to help carry it and patiently explained the room facilities, Wi-Fi password, laundry room, and breakfast times. When I casually asked about self-driving routes to Qinghai Lake and local food spots, she patiently outlined an itinerary, even recommending niche attractions and reminding me about precautions for high-altitude travel. When my room card stopped working, I contacted the front desk and Julie came to resolve the issue within minutes, without any pretense. Her service was professional yet down-to-earth throughout, without any rigid formalities; she genuinely thought about the guests. While good hardware is a hotel's foundation, warm service is what truly adds value. Thanks to Julie's thoughtful service, my travel fatigue disappeared. I'll definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Xining, and I highly recommend it to everyone!

Housekeeping did an excellent job; the room was spotless and completely free of any odors. The staff provided attentive service throughout my stay, proactively offering directions and always with a gentle demeanor. The location is a huge plus, with the airport shuttle stop conveniently located right downstairs, making transfers to and from the airport super easy and stress-free. Being on a high floor, the views were expansive; the city skyline during the day was impressive, and at night, the cityscape twinkled beautifully. I highly recommend this hotel.

GGuest UserThis is a newly opened hotel. While it's a bit out of the way, it's right next to Wuyue Plaza, so food and drinks are easily accessible. The breakfast yogurt is served daily and is absolutely delicious. It's a bit of a distance to tourist attractions, but the service is excellent. I requested a high-floor room, and they upgraded my room type without any hesitation. All the staff I encountered were very polite. The laundry room and gym are both fantastic. For around 300 RMB during the off-season, including breakfast, it's highly recommended.

SSee LimWe stayed in this hotel for 4 nights. The hotel is just opposite Xining Train Station and is quite convenient for transportation.
The hotel room was clean but having cigarette smell even though I requested for non smoking room. The safe in the room was not working and the bathroom drainage was blockage.
Most of the hotel staff here are not friendly and helpful.
I would stay in other hotel if I visit to Xining again.

GGuest UserMy stay at Qinghai Kaiyuan Grand Hotel in Xining completely exceeded my expectations. Every moment, from check-in to check-out, was incredibly comfortable and pleasant. I absolutely have to sing its praises!
First off, the service was exceptionally warm and attentive, making the entire experience fantastic. As soon as I arrived, a doorman proactively helped me with my luggage and directed me to the Sky Lobby on the 21st floor. Check-in was super efficient, and they even thoughtfully recognized my member status and upgraded my room for free, along with complimentary fresh welcome fruit. The 24-hour front desk was always responsive to my needs; whether I needed directions or extra items, they were quick to assist. The staff were friendly and professional in every detail, adding a touch of warmth to my trip.
Secondly, the facilities were comprehensive and high-end, ensuring a very comfortable stay. The design of the Sky Lobby was simply stunning, blending Chinese style with panoramic views. In the evening, I even caught a breathtaking sunset – perfect for photos! My room was spacious and bright, with a well-designed layout covering over 50 square meters. It featured a soft sofa, a large desk, and even a humidifier to combat the dry climate in the Northwest, which was a very thoughtful touch. The guest rooms were fully intelligent, with features like sensor lighting and electric blackout curtains adding a futuristic feel. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area and a bathtub, and the toiletries were high-quality. The King Koil mattress provided an amazing sleep experience. The hotel also boasts a free gym, a table tennis room, a book bar, and a tea room – perfect for either exercise and relaxation or quiet reading. The amenities truly cater to various needs.
What truly surprised me was the breakfast – it was abundant and unique. Served at the buffet restaurant on the 5th floor, it covered everything from Chinese and Western to Halal cuisine, with an incredibly wide variety. There was freshly prepared Lanzhou beef noodles, authentic Halal 'Sazi Mahua' (fried dough twists), and other local specialties, along with hot dishes, cold dishes, congee, bread, seasonal fruits, and excellent freshly ground coffee and squeezed juices. I particularly recommend the hotel's yogurt; its rich and creamy texture was delicious with grains or fruit. The dining area was spacious and clean, with plenty of seating, so there was no need to wait in line – a perfect start to an energetic day.
Additionally, the hotel's location is superb. It's right next to Xining Railway Station, just a few minutes' walk away. Within a 1-kilometer radius, there's a night market, large shopping malls, and the distinctive Mojia Street pedestrian area. It's also close to the Dongguan Great Mosque and the Huangshui River, making it incredibly convenient for getting around and finding food. The free public parking also eased any concerns for those traveling by car. It offers incredible value for money.
In summary, Xining Qinghai Kaiyuan Grand Hotel excelled in every aspect, including service, facilities, and dining. It's perfectly suited for both business trips and leisure travel. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Xining and highly recommend it to everyone!

The room I booked through the APP only cost more than 50 RMB. In many second- and third-tier cities, for more than 50 RMB, you can only book a youth hostel without even a separate bathroom. No, but look at what he has provided for you. First of all, there is a large 40-square-meter room with a separate wardrobe. It is exaggerated to say that you can play football in the room. It even comes with a small book table, next to the People's Park, which is half a room. Let's get a villa room. Disposable supplies are provided for you. The bed is clean and you won't feel itchy when sleeping. It's also very quiet. Although there is no air conditioning, it snowed in mid-November when I booked it. There is floor heating. It's not the kind of rows. The heating pipe is a real floor heating, which is very warm. Looking at the price, what else can I be dissatisfied with? I booked it for 2 consecutive nights and it must be praised. If I talk about the shortcomings, this hotel takes 7-8 minutes to get out of the bus station and take a bus. There is only an overhead shower and no independent shower, which is a little inconvenient.
