Heart Anchor Hotel (Xining Caojiabao International Airport) ★★★★
"Great hotel, new and everything is super. Only bad thing is it is on a busy road, so not quite enough to sleep."
Plateau Impression Fashion Hotel (mojiajie Daxin Street Night Market) ★★
"The Impression Hotel offers excellent value for money. The rooms are clean, tidy, and odor-free, with soft and comfortable bedding that ensures a restful sleep. The location is convenient, close to tourist attractions and shopping areas, making it super easy to explore and eat. The front desk staff are friendly, and check-in and check-out are efficient and quick. The facilities are complete and in good working order. The price is affordable, making it perfect for students traveling in groups. The overall experience far exceeded expectations."
Qinghai Chenxin Hotel (Xining Railway Station) ★★★
"The hotel's location is excellent, and the bathroom is very spacious. The only minor drawback is that it's not very well-ventilated due to the lack of air conditioning. However, the breakfast was fantastic, and the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful."
Xining Changjiang International Hotel ★★★★
"I have to give a huge shout-out to this hotel! From check-in to check-out, the entire experience was fantastic, absolutely flawless. Let me start with the first-floor lobby and surrounding transportation: The lobby is spacious and grand, with high ceilings. The light luxury decor paired with a subtle fragrance makes you feel relaxed the moment you step in. Most importantly, the location is superb. The subway station is right outside the door, and taxis are readily available. It's incredibly convenient to get to popular attractions and shopping areas, so you don't have to worry about transportation at all. Now for the second-floor restaurant: The buffet offers such a rich variety of dishes, it's hard to choose! There's a full range of Chinese and Western hot dishes, freshly cooked noodle stations, and exquisite desserts. The sashimi is also very fresh, and they replenish the food quickly. The taste is absolutely on par with specialized buffet restaurants outside – it was a truly satisfying meal. For sports enthusiasts, the gym on the 11th floor is an absolute godsend! The view is amazing, overlooking the city through floor-to-ceiling windows. All the equipment is from top imported brands and is impeccably maintained. The treadmills and strength training areas are well-separated, and there's even a dedicated yoga space. A run and sweat session in the evening significantly improved my sleep quality. I especially want to commend the front desk for check-in: The staff were highly efficient, friendly, and professional. Seeing me with luggage, they proactively helped guide me, not only detailing breakfast times and gym location but also thoughtfully asking about my room type preference. The service was all smiles, which made me feel genuinely warm inside. Finally, moving to the guest room: The facilities and equipment are truly new. It features smart room controls throughout, with one-touch adjustment for curtains and lighting, giving it a very high-tech feel. The bedding is soft and skin-friendly, the bathroom has a wet-dry separation, and the toiletries are of excellent quality. The biggest surprise was the superb soundproofing; it was completely quiet all night, allowing me to get a solid, peaceful sleep."
Boli Yabu Hotel ★★★★★
"The location is excellent, making it convenient for getting around. The breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options. The staff were attentive and polite, and the entire room was decorated to be cozy and comfortable. The view from the window was spectacular; whether it was the blue skies and white clouds during the day or the city lights at night, it was absolutely charming. My stay was perfect."
Wanhao Hotel (Xining Railway Station Xinqian Night Market Branch) ★★
"Overall, this stay was quite reassuring. The front desk staff were very polite, and the check-in process was smooth and comfortable. The room was clean, the bed was just the right firmness, and I slept very well that night. It was a comfortable stay. Overall, it was a relaxing accommodation experience. I would definitely come back if I had the chance."
Elan Hotel (Xining Railway Station) ★★
"The room is very good, with a large space, separate wet and dry areas, and a good location. There are RT-Mart and Haoxianglai downstairs, and there are many restaurants. It only takes 8 yuan to get to the train station by taxi."
Huang'an Yunjing Hotel (Mojia Street Xiangnanguan Street)
"The environment is great, very clean and tidy, and the service is excellent. The location is unbeatable, right in the bustling night markets of Mojia Street and Daxin Street. You can literally eat your way through all sorts of Qinghai delicacies there. As a foodie, I just couldn't stop myself – it was an amazing experience!"
Campanile Hotel Xining Railway Station ★★★
"1. It's very close to the train station, and there are hotels all around, but being close to the station has a downside: it can be a bit noisy at night; you can hear the trains. 2. The service was good; they upgraded our room and gave us an extra breakfast voucher. However, the breakfast was very mediocre, and the extra bed was a metal-frame bed that easily shifted. Overall, it's decent and could be a good choice for a layover."

Xining Sanyu Hotel
"We booked a family suite, and it was really nice and spacious. The service was excellent, and there weren't many people around, which was great. The kids loved it, and it was quiet for sleeping. It really was a good experience, and it wasn't too crowded."
Sofitel Xining
"The hotel's location is excellent, right in the city center with plenty of large shopping malls and great restaurants nearby. The room was decent, a bit dated, but clean. The hotel service was also good; they even gave us a thoughtful souvenir when we checked out. Xining was much nicer than I expected, very neat and clean – I really enjoyed it!"
New Century Hotel Xining Qinghai
"Having stayed in numerous 4-5 star hotels both domestically and internationally, this is one of the most bizarre I've ever encountered. Service: This is the first impression. After a 9-hour drive, I arrived at the concierge driveway (lobby entrance) on the first floor using navigation. Instead of the expected concierge service of a "5-star hotel," a uniformed man made eye contact with me and then went inside. I couldn't help but get out of the car to ask about parking, and this man chuckled and said perfunctorily, "Excuse me, excuse me, I thought you (me) were picking someone up." I explained twice that I was a guest, and he replied, "Otherwise, you (me) back up (20 meters down in an alley) to the underground parking entrance." Seeing the concierge driveway was complicated, with other cars and heavy traffic in the alleyway during rush hour, I knew safety was paramount and I couldn't drive against the flow of traffic. I ended up taking a detour, wasting nearly half an hour of check-in and rest time. During check-in, the front desk seemed busy with walk-in customers, and the pre-booked guests were rude and impatient. When I asked for the housekeeping service website, they had an attitude of "You just don't know how to use it." "5-star hotel" is a pity. It's not even as good as many 4-star international hotels. 0.5 stars for this item. Environment: The lobby and concierge driveway on the first floor are shared with some jade jewelry and specialty shops. It's cluttered and lacks the facade of a 5-star hotel. 2.5 stars. Facilities: I booked a high-class room for this hotel. The electric curtains in the toilet were malfunctioning and completely unusable (making it impossible to watch TV while showering: this is standard in high-end hotels). Considering the attitude of the staff after I asked them to check the sink lamp (they didn't even say goodbye, acting like the guests didn't know anything), I didn't call for help and just left without leaving. 2.0 stars. Cleanliness: The room itself wasn't bad, and the cleaning was done diligently. 4.5 stars for this item. However, I was really annoyed. The service wasn't worth the level. How did the platform rate it? I should be more careful when booking rooms in the future."
Qinghai Hotel
"Qinghai Hotel stands out as the hotel with the most thoughtfully prepared cuisine among all the places I've stayed. The food was absolutely delicious. I've tried hand-grabbed lamb at several places in the Northwest, and Qinghai Hotel's version was the only one that truly made the trip worthwhile. The hotel's location is excellent, the service is spot on, and the views from the window are beautiful. I highly recommend staying at Qinghai Hotel."
ELEGANT GARDEN HOTEL
"The room is the same as the picture, the design is very stylish, the hotel breakfast is rich in variety, the dessert mousse pudding is delicious 👍🏻It would be better if the coffee machine could make latte"
Yinlong Hotel
"I've been staying at hotels throughout my business trip, and today I checked out. I asked the front desk to print an invoice, but the young lady very firmly told me they couldn't. This is the first hotel I've encountered that doesn't print invoices! 👍👍👍"
Wanda Vista Xining
"This hotel is my top choice when staying in the city center. Its prime location makes getting around incredibly easy, and with the airport shuttle stopping right outside, catching a flight is a breeze. The rooms are well-equipped and functional, and the staff are friendly and proactive, handling all requests efficiently. The views from the high-floor rooms are exceptional; the city lights up beautifully at night, making for a truly comfortable stay. I highly recommend it! My only minor quibbles were with one of the cleaning staff. I asked for water twice but only received it the first time. The second time, she insisted she had already provided it. Some additional training might be beneficial there. Also, due to Qinghai's dry climate, a humidifier was necessary, but I noticed some limescale inside, so hygiene in that area could be improved. On a positive note, the front desk lady was absolutely wonderful and very thoughtful. She reminded us to buy oxygen canisters in the city for emergencies."
The Sebel Xining
"Our stay was absolutely fantastic! The room was spotless, and the bedding was as comfortable as sleeping on a cloud. Plus, it had cooking facilities, which was a huge bonus. The staff were incredibly warm and accommodating; they even gave us a free upgrade since we were traveling with our child. The breakfast spread was delicious and abundant, and our little one had a blast. We'll definitely choose this place again for our next trip!"
Holiday Inn Express XINING RAILWAY STATION by IHG
"Service: The service was good, offering pick-up and drop-off from the station, and the driver was very friendly. Location: Very close to the train station, a 5-minute drive. Breakfast: The food was tasty, but the portions were too small. Ambiance: The hotel is thoughtfully designed, with plenty of surfaces to place belongings, which is very convenient. Drawbacks: The sound insulation between floors is poor. I could hear thumping noises from the upstairs room late at night, and I also clearly heard hangers clanging against something from upstairs, possibly due to pipe connections."
Xining High Speed Railway Station Hampton by Hilton Hotel
"This is a brand new hotel with excellent, state-of-the-art facilities. The surrounding area is also very convenient. What really stands out is how friendly they are to our Hui community – the breakfast is entirely Halal, which is a huge plus! The Serta mattress in the room was incredibly comfortable, and the front desk service was fantastic; they even upgraded me to a deluxe king room! Highly recommend!"
THUNDEROBOT Jingjie E-Sports Hotel (Xining Beichuan Wanda Plaza)
"Good, clean, and fun."
Homeinn Selected Hotel (Xining Daxin Street Night Market Mojia Street)
"Stayed there for one night and enjoyed the proximity to the night market and fantastic service from staff."
Hampton by Hilton Xining Kunlun Road
"The room was spacious and very comfortable. I was particularly impressed by the excellent soundproofing in the bathroom. From the chair, we enjoyed a very relaxing view of distant mountain ridges. The bedding was just right – perfectly balanced between soft and firm. Breakfast was extensive, and they even offered an evening supper. Definitely recommended, although the air conditioning temperature control was a bit temperamental."
Enraton International Hotel
"The hotel was very clean and they even gave us yogurt and a small gift. It's also very close to the Xiannanguan Night Market."
Hilton Garden Inn Xining Chengdong
"The room was decent, and the cleanliness was good; it looked quite new. The elevator was very small, and we had to wait over 10 minutes for it in the morning, as one of them was apparently out of order. Breakfast was abundant, but there wasn't much that tasted good, except for the rice noodles, which were okay."
Wanda Yue Xining Chengzhong
"The hotel breakfast was rich and delicious, and it's well-equipped with a laundry room and gym. The location is great, and it offers excellent value for money!"
