The room has a well-thought-out layout with efficient use of space, excellent natural light, and good ventilation. The functional areas are clearly defined, making it very comfortable to stay in. The overall design strikes a good balance between practicality and aesthetics, with meticulous attention to detail. I'd suggest adding some personalized decorative elements to enhance the living atmosphere. Recommended: 4.5/5 stars.

Service: The service was good, offering pick-up and drop-off from the station, and the driver was very friendly. Location: Very close to the train station, a 5-minute drive. Breakfast: The food was tasty, but the portions were too small. Ambiance: The hotel is thoughtfully designed, with plenty of surfaces to place belongings, which is very convenient. Drawbacks: The sound insulation between floors is poor. I could hear thumping noises from the upstairs room late at night, and I also clearly heard hangers clanging against something from upstairs, possibly due to pipe connections.

We stayed another 2 nights during the May holidays. Surprisingly, Xining wasn't crowded except for the People's Park where plenty of tulips were in bloom. It was raining on 1 May, so we stayed in hotel. Hotel though old, was clean with standard amenities. Bathroom has a bath with shower curtains. No hooks for clothes in toilet/bathroom. Laundry room only has 1 washer, no dryer. We didn't use. Price was cheap. Breakfast was a bowl of mee, some veg and an egg at restaurant next door. We were given breakfast vouchers.

This hotel experience was fantastic! The location is great, not far from the train station, and close to attractions and food streets, making getting around super convenient. The room was very clean, and the bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The bathroom was clean and odor-free, and the toiletries were of good quality. The front desk staff were very friendly and checked us in quickly. All the hotel staff were warm and attentive, answering all our questions and even proactively helping us plan our itinerary. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting!

I had a wonderful experience staying at this hotel. The location is absolutely perfect—it is very close to the station and situated right on the main road, making it extremely easy to find and reach. The hotel itself is incredibly clean, well-maintained, and beautiful. The best part is the convenience. Everything you need is just a few steps away—there are supermarkets, great restaurants, and local markets right around the hotel. Taxis and local transport are readily available just outside the property, making traveling around Siliguri completely hassle-free. From cleanliness to connectivity, this hotel is top-notch. Facilities: Not great, especially the water situation. The sink faucet splattered everywhere, and the drain cover was loose. It was hard to adjust the water temperature in the shower, and the bathtub couldn't hold water. The hairdryer only blew cold air. Hygiene: Okay, but they didn't refill the shampoo, and the replacement towels weren't put on the rack, so I couldn't find them. Service: The service attitude was good; they brought yogurt every day and were very welcoming. Environment: The location is good, and it's quiet for sleeping.

My stay at Qinghai Kaiyuan Grand Hotel in Xining completely exceeded my expectations. Every moment, from check-in to check-out, was incredibly comfortable and pleasant. I absolutely have to sing its praises! First off, the service was exceptionally warm and attentive, making the entire experience fantastic. As soon as I arrived, a doorman proactively helped me with my luggage and directed me to the Sky Lobby on the 21st floor. Check-in was super efficient, and they even thoughtfully recognized my member status and upgraded my room for free, along with complimentary fresh welcome fruit. The 24-hour front desk was always responsive to my needs; whether I needed directions or extra items, they were quick to assist. The staff were friendly and professional in every detail, adding a touch of warmth to my trip. Secondly, the facilities were comprehensive and high-end, ensuring a very comfortable stay. The design of the Sky Lobby was simply stunning, blending Chinese style with panoramic views. In the evening, I even caught a breathtaking sunset – perfect for photos! My room was spacious and bright, with a well-designed layout covering over 50 square meters. It featured a soft sofa, a large desk, and even a humidifier to combat the dry climate in the Northwest, which was a very thoughtful touch. The guest rooms were fully intelligent, with features like sensor lighting and electric blackout curtains adding a futuristic feel. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area and a bathtub, and the toiletries were high-quality. The King Koil mattress provided an amazing sleep experience. The hotel also boasts a free gym, a table tennis room, a book bar, and a tea room – perfect for either exercise and relaxation or quiet reading. The amenities truly cater to various needs. What truly surprised me was the breakfast – it was abundant and unique. Served at the buffet restaurant on the 5th floor, it covered everything from Chinese and Western to Halal cuisine, with an incredibly wide variety. There was freshly prepared Lanzhou beef noodles, authentic Halal 'Sazi Mahua' (fried dough twists), and other local specialties, along with hot dishes, cold dishes, congee, bread, seasonal fruits, and excellent freshly ground coffee and squeezed juices. I particularly recommend the hotel's yogurt; its rich and creamy texture was delicious with grains or fruit. The dining area was spacious and clean, with plenty of seating, so there was no need to wait in line – a perfect start to an energetic day. Additionally, the hotel's location is superb. It's right next to Xining Railway Station, just a few minutes' walk away. Within a 1-kilometer radius, there's a night market, large shopping malls, and the distinctive Mojia Street pedestrian area. It's also close to the Dongguan Great Mosque and the Huangshui River, making it incredibly convenient for getting around and finding food. The free public parking also eased any concerns for those traveling by car. It offers incredible value for money. In summary, Xining Qinghai Kaiyuan Grand Hotel excelled in every aspect, including service, facilities, and dining. It's perfectly suited for both business trips and leisure travel. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Xining and highly recommend it to everyone!

The hotel's sanitation is very good, the facilities are complete, the front desk Xiao Li is gentle and patient, take the initiative to explain the surrounding route, the service is intimate and full, highly recommended. The overall stay experience is excellent, the room is bright and clean, the front desk Xiao Li is kind, responds promptly, and will choose to stay here next time.

The hotel's location is great, and they have a free parking lot. The front desk staff, particularly a young lady who went by 'Serta Mattress' (or maybe that was her name, it's a bit unclear!), was incredibly friendly and enthusiastic. She showed me the rooms, helped me compare prices, and even upgraded my room type. She also recommended some night markets. The breakfast was very good too, so I decided to extend my stay!

Location is close to many eating places and dong guan mosque which is good. However, the bed and pillows were too hard for a comfortable rest. Toilet towels provided were all disposable, which was different from the photos. Room was smaller than what the photos were showing. For a non-smoking room, it sure smelt of cigarettes alot. This was because of weak enforcement of the no smoking rule. Other hotel guests were smoking in the corridors.
