Hotels in Xining Railway Station, Xining

Took us some time to understand how things function in the room, but we finally got it. We missed the AC most. Although the city is at almost 2300 m alttitude, it can get hot in the summer and there's only a narrow window in the room. Too little to cool it over the night. No fridge means no cold drinks either. And also the shower nozzle is not fully functional. Water is fighting its way out of that 😵 But there is a nice lobby and also the room looks good. We did get a surprise snack around 10.00 pm. All put together I would say 'Better try one of the other hotels in the neighbourhood.'

After our trip to Qinghai, we returned to the Holiday Inn Express, and it felt like coming back to civilization. The front desk staff were professional and friendly. There's underground parking, and the room was clean and spacious. For dinner, we had 'Kaiguo Lamb' at the hotel restaurant – selected short ribs simmered in broth for 15 minutes, then dipped in sauce, which was absolutely delicious! We finished with some vegetables cooked in the same pot. The breakfast spread, a mix of Western and Chinese, was also very rich. Compared to other Holiday Inn Express hotels in mainland China, this one offered local specialties like yogurt and noodles. If I ever come back to Xining, I'll definitely choose to stay here again.

Easy to find and super convenient location with great transport links! The area has so much character and plenty of food options. The front desk staff, especially the lady who checked me in, was incredibly warm and efficient. She had such a great attitude! The room was clean and hygienic, with a really cozy atmosphere. The bedding was comfortable, and all the toiletries were provided. Excellent value for money! This will definitely be my go-to place for future trips. A good night's rest here truly made my whole trip more enjoyable and happy!

This hotel experience was fantastic! The location is great, not far from the train station, and close to attractions and food streets, making getting around super convenient. The room was very clean, and the bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The bathroom was clean and odor-free, and the toiletries were of good quality. The front desk staff were very friendly and checked us in quickly. All the hotel staff were warm and attentive, answering all our questions and even proactively helping us plan our itinerary. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting!

The hotel staff were incredibly kind and attentive. Seeing that we had a child with us, they upgraded us to a suite, which included complimentary breakfast and a fruit platter. It was such a thoughtful gesture! We felt so at home and secure during our trip through the Northwest. The hotel also has convenient charging stations in the backyard and a spacious underground parking garage. Plus, there's a laundry room and a gym available!

The location is great, close to railway station and bus station, may reach by foot. Room is comfortable and worth. The reception staff is good and fast, u dint have to wait too long for the check in.

The room was very clean and well-designed. It was particularly convenient for business trips, and the transportation was excellent. I'll definitely stay here again. I stayed in Xining for 7 days, and this was my favorite place.

Traveller from malaysia, location a bit far from Xining railway station, but i reach by walking, there are many halal food around, the buffet also halal. The lift is shared with other hotel, u have to wait for long time, it is time consuming. They provide you with laundry self service, u may get the detergent from the counter. Room is comfortable and worth. The room is cold without ac.

Highly recommend this hotel! The location is excellent, right next to the train station, just a few minutes' walk, which is super convenient for catching a train. The room is very spacious, open and not cramped. It also has air conditioning, which is central but you can control it yourself, very convenient. The most pleasant surprise in the room was the humidifier, which made us first-time visitors to Xining feel very comfortable. The entire room was spotlessly clean. The front desk staff were attentive and friendly, and check-in was very efficient. I'm very satisfied with this stay.

From the moment I walked in, I felt the genuine service. There's underground and above-ground parking, and you just need to swipe your card at the front desk before driving out. The room was clean and tidy, though the bathroom felt a bit cramped. The housekeeping team thoughtfully left a handwritten card and complimentary Qinghai specialty yogurt. Breakfast was plentiful. It's very close to the Dongguan Grand Mosque, which has incredibly unique architecture. The Xi'nanguan Night Market is also nearby, perfect for a stroll.
