3-Star Hotels in Xining

The pictures aren't mine, but they're basically identical to my room. There's a gym and laundry room downstairs, though I didn't use them – I'm not a fan of shared facilities. When we booked, the family room was 600, and the king room was 500. The air conditioning in this hotel wasn't very effective, even when set to 25 degrees. On a side note, hotels with air conditioning are really expensive in Xining.

3rd Stay Review This was our third stay in the Family Room after returning from Zhangye. We extended our stay and thankfully, there was room available. We had a good sleep, as the air-conditioning kept the room comfortable despite the hottest days we experienced in Xining. We managed to use the washer for our laundry. The nearby restaurants open late so getting food is no problem.

The room was clean and tidy, and the central air conditioning allowed me to adjust the temperature myself. The shower had great water pressure and was super hot and comfortable. Parking was also incredibly convenient, and the breakfast was delicious. Even though there were many people eating breakfast, the service attitude was consistently excellent. The cleaning staff in the hallways would also greet me warmly, which was really heartwarming. The front desk even upgraded my room for free because I had a baby with me, which I truly appreciated! Highly recommended!!

Good hotel, very modern and clean. The room was spacious and comfortable. Staff were extremely helpful. For the price it's great. However, we couldn't enjoy the breakfast much as it starts at 7:30, which is already fairly late for a hotel, and by 7:40 not even half of the breakfast was prepared and we had to leave, would have liked to try it especially considering it was included in the room and what we ate of it was fairly tasty. The curtain behind the bathtub doesnt sit in line with the wall so there is a bright light throughout the night from outside. The hotel was a bit difficult to find especially finding the Correct parking area for the building. The elevators are shared elevators and took over 10 minutes to go up to the 25th floor . And took 5 minutes of waiting to go down one floor to the reception, before we decided to take the stairs(which are very dirty) Apart from the above the hotel was very good and comfortable, clothes washing facilities were clean, coffee in the reception, and a cool fish tank along with very friendly helpful staff.

The hotel is warm and comfortable, clean and tidy. The disposable toilet seat provided free of charge is of good quality. I asked the waiter for a few more, which I can use for the next trip [grin]. The security uncle was polite and enthusiastic when parking. Seeing that we were with children, he took the initiative to help carry the luggage. There is a night market 10 minutes walk from the hotel. I didn't expect that there would be many people in Xining's night market in winter. There are many kinds of snacks, small accessories, daily necessities, clothes, shoes and hats [grin] The hotel is good and I will stay there next time

This was my first time staying in Xining; usually, I just passed through on road trips. I booked this hotel because it was close to the Provincial People's Hospital, where I had some business. I got the largest room. After registering my phone number at the front desk, I could use a WeChat mini-program to open the door and even control the room lights. Everyone says hotels in Xining don't have air conditioning, but this one actually does – good foresight, I guess! The front desk service was excellent. I asked for recommendations for places to visit, and after work, I walked to the nearby Xiaguan Night Market. It was within walking distance, and I ate so much I was stuffed when I got back. I've already saved this hotel on my phone's map for future reference.

From the moment I stepped into the lobby, the front desk staff were incredibly welcoming. They even gave me a complimentary room upgrade! Upon entering the room, I was pleasantly surprised by how clean it was; not a single hair was found. Any items I requested were promptly delivered by the front desk. They also kindly offered me a complimentary late check-out. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied – absolutely fantastic!

We were not aware that the hotel plan to switch off the room’s air conditional during this period. When we made the booking via Trip.com, it was stated that the rooms are air conditional. This is a very bad experience especially for foreigners. The fans provided are full of dust and need to asked it to be cleaned. One of the rooms was not properly treated and has the bad smell of cigarette smoke.

While the room was nice and the bed comfy, the air conditioning didn’t work at all and our room was so hot it made it difficult to sleep. Location wise it’s near Wanda plaza, lots of restaurants, but cars can’t access the hotel so you have to walk about 7 minutes to the hotel. We had sore feet from travelling all over, so the extra inconvenience of walking from the hotel, in the heat, plus the lack of air conditioning resulted in us checking out 2 days early to stay at another hotel that was more comfortable.

The deluxe family room at Qinghai Baiyun Xianglin Hotel was absolutely amazing! As soon as we walked in, we were blown away by how spacious and bright it was. The kids' play area, specially designed for children, had a slide and a rocking horse, keeping our little one entertained non-stop. The room was exceptionally clean, and the thoughtful touches like children's toiletries and disposable toilet seat covers really stood out. Hot water came out quickly, and the mattress was super comfortable. The hotel's service was impeccable; from the warm welcome at check-in, we felt cared for throughout our stay. Drinks and towels were plentiful, and the hotel's location was very convenient, with plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. Our stay was perfect, and I highly recommend it to families with children!
