3-Star Hotels in Xining

3rd Stay Review This was our third stay in the Family Room after returning from Zhangye. We extended our stay and thankfully, there was room available. We had a good sleep, as the air-conditioning kept the room comfortable despite the hottest days we experienced in Xining. We managed to use the washer for our laundry. The nearby restaurants open late so getting food is no problem.

I was extremely impressed with the room. The way it is designed has been very well thought out and it looks as lovely as it is comfortable! The suite had everything we needed including the lovely large bath tub and shower. I loved the space and it would have been ideal for two or three nights in the place. Unfortunately we only stayed for one. It is located near food markets and restaurants and is very close to the train station. The hotel reception was very professional and extremely helpful, they also arranged a car to take us to the train station. The breakfast is standard Chinese style breakfast, I thought it was good and filling, and they offer variety of coffee options with their machine, as well as tea. This hotel is very well organized and designed! I would definitely stay here again if I return to Xining!

Very nice, comfortable and clean place to stay. Close to stores, cafes and restaurants. Not far from the trainstation and easy to haul a taxi. Great rooms with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Nice area to sit near reception with very tasteful free tea. As they couldn't make me a bubble tea on the spot the receptionist offered to order take away and ended up offering it to me as a welcome gift to China🙏

This was my first time staying in Xining; usually, I just passed through on road trips. I booked this hotel because it was close to the Provincial People's Hospital, where I had some business. I got the largest room. After registering my phone number at the front desk, I could use a WeChat mini-program to open the door and even control the room lights. Everyone says hotels in Xining don't have air conditioning, but this one actually does – good foresight, I guess! The front desk service was excellent. I asked for recommendations for places to visit, and after work, I walked to the nearby Xiaguan Night Market. It was within walking distance, and I ate so much I was stuffed when I got back. I've already saved this hotel on my phone's map for future reference.

Hygiene: clean and tidy Environment: superior, convenient transportation Service: very satisfied, convenient parking, the first choice for patronizing Duoduo Quality Hotel in the future! The hotel is warm and comfortable, clean and tidy. The disposable toilet seat provided free of charge is of good quality. I asked the waiter for a few more, which I can use for the next trip [grin]. The security uncle was polite and enthusiastic when parking. Seeing that we were with children, he took the initiative to help carry the luggage. There is a night market 10 minutes walk from the hotel. I didn't expect that there would be many people in Xining's night market in winter. There are many kinds of snacks, small accessories, daily necessities, clothes, shoes and hats [grin] The hotel is good and I will stay there next time

The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, with easy access to shopping and dining. It's right next to a Wanda Plaza. The rooms and facilities are new, clean, and hygienic. It's especially quiet at night, allowing for a good night's sleep, so I, who have trouble sleeping, decided to extend my stay. Parking is on the street downstairs, and because we arrived late and couldn't find a spot, the owner came down twice to help, moving his own car for us. The owner and front desk staff were very kind. 👍 There's also a large convenience store on the first floor with a full range of daily necessities. The beef and lamb in Xining are amazing! Before leaving, we bought some, and the owner kindly froze it in the hotel's freezer for us to take home the next day. We were very grateful. Speaking of food, there's a night market downstairs that stays open very late. We arrived late that day and ate there. We found a small shop called ”Harbin Mala Tang” and ordered clay pot rice noodles and Mala Tang, both of which were delicious and inexpensive. My daughter said it was better than Zhang Liang's. While eating, we heard a story: a delivery guy accidentally spilled some food while delivering to their shop, so he went back and bought a replacement to compensate the customer. The owner of this small mala tang (spicy hot pot) shop told the delivery driver, ”If this happens again, just tell me. I can forgo the money the shop makes, saving you a few yuan. You only earn so little in this sweltering heat...” Wishing this little shop booming business! I think Xining must be a warm city, where we encounter one heartwarming scene after another. This was just a brief stopover, but I'll definitely make a special trip back next time...

We stayed another 2 nights during the May holidays. Surprisingly, Xining wasn't crowded except for the People's Park where plenty of tulips were in bloom. It was raining on 1 May, so we stayed in hotel. Hotel though old, was clean with standard amenities. Bathroom has a bath with shower curtains. No hooks for clothes in toilet/bathroom. Laundry room only has 1 washer, no dryer. We didn't use. Price was cheap. Breakfast was a bowl of mee, some veg and an egg at restaurant next door. We were given breakfast vouchers.

The room is clean and tidy, the facilities are good, the front desk lady is warm and welcoming, Qinghai is very fun

This hotel is at the good location . There are bus stop which be very near with this hotel . The bedroom is very clean and very high quality ( 4 stars hotel , AAAA for me ) But the price is not expensive, I recommend everyone to stay here . Thank you for hotel staff . Everyone of hotel staff are helpful , polite and professional staff . I may come back to stay here again in the future if I have opportunities. Because I am very convenient and comfortable , so I am very happy to stay in this high quality hotel .

Xining West Lake Hotel (Wuyue Plaza Qinghai University for Nationalities), Trip.com shows that it is a three-star hotel. The actual stay experience does not even have a two-star standard. The decoration is simple, there is no air conditioning, and the window can be opened to sleep at night. The road is outside. It is very noisy and did not sleep well. The quality of disposable slippers is very poor. Towels are disposable, shower tiles are covered in red with unidentified liquid and there are uncleaned hair on the ground.
