The service was correct, the bathroom quite acceptable, good. Comfortable beds and everything spacious. Being on the fourth floor, there was no noise from the street. The only downside is that you could hear noises like pipes, which was a bit annoying, you could hear that weird noise (we think) when others were taking showers or using the WC. We didnt have breakfast. In general, the experience was good and the staff was attentive.

Recently refurbished three star property with a four star level of service. While the rooms are small, they are fully equipped and the bathrooms are sparkingly clean. Great air conditioning and good linen and towels. Good shower but sadly with captive liquid soap. Breakfast is the only meal offered but is extremely good even though there are only two hot dishes for us Northern Europeans. Fresh orange juice (whch is wonderful) is available for a small supplement. Given the fact that there's terrific restuarnt across the road (Gimbres by Oleg), the absnce of full meals provision is not noticed. There's s nice lobby bar.

My wife and I stayed at this Hotel at the start of June 2023 for 5 nights. I cannot be more complimentary about the service we received from reception staff, breakfast staff and the two 'managers'. My wife has limited mobility and would use a wheel chair. Everything possible was done to make her stay as full as possible and our lovely room, at the front of the hotel was full of tech and extremely comfortable. Not a beech hotel but a glorious city break base, and Faro has more to offer than you might think. Many thanks to Ricardo and his team. Apologies if spelling is not perfect.

Offering self-catering studios in the small fishing village of Fuseta, the Estudios Salinas – Fuzeta has a rooftop furnished terrace overlooking Ria Formosa Natural Park from a distance. It features free WiFi in all areas.Each unit has an equipped kitchenette and a flat-screen satellite TV. The living area includes a sofa bed with a chaise longue. All studios have an open-plan design, and some studios have a furnished balcony or terrace.The kitchenette includes appliances as a microwave, refrigerator and a toaster. There is a shared laundry room for guests’ use. Fuseta central square, where all locals meet, is 200 metres away. Restaurants and cafés are a few steps away.Guests wishing to explore the beach can catch the ferry heading to Fuseta Island in 5 minutes’ walking distance, and enjoy a 5-minute ferry ride to the island, that they can catch on the beachfront.Olhão is a 10-minute drive away from Estudios Salinas, and Tavira can be reached in a 15-minute drive. Fuseta-A Train Station is 500 metres away, offering access throughout the Algarve. Faro International Airport is a 30-minute drive away from Estudios Salinas – Fuzeta.

Wr stayed here for 1 night before moving onto our holiday accommodation. Literally 5 minute drive from the airport. We checked in on line but still had to show passports at the front desk etc. We got there around 11pm. Every thing was still open so we checked in, took cases to the room and thenopted for a drink by the pool. A pint of sagres was around €3. Breakfast was hit and miss. Usual fare of cold meats, cheeses, cereal and toast. Limited choice but was all quite nice. The pool area was lovely though some umbrellas to afford some shade would be grate. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and would stay again if we needed to.

The hotel has a good location, where you can watch the sea. The terrace is large but the facilities in the room are outdated. The staff at the front desk is quite nice. I stayed for one night and had the dinner at the hotel restaurant. The dishes tasted good.

Very clean and new hotel. The carpets in the hallways were brilliant - well thought out to make wheeled suitcases easy to pull; also stylish. Bed was super comfortable, AC very effective, room was kept immaculately clean by friendly cleaning staff. Friendly staff served breakfast and in the roof top bar which was amazing, with 360degree views. Dipping pool and sun loungers were well-used; hard to get a lounger in time! Downside: some very odd management decisions. Despite description on Trip there was no cafe, no lunch or dinner and not even bar snacks! I rang on the 2nd day to ask for a bottle of water … response “Madam, this is a 3* hotel. You only get a bottle of water on your first day”!! Bizarre. I was able to buy a $0.99 bottle from the bar for €2.50! Breakfast: the ubiquitous coffee machine producing the most disgusting coffee - I tried all of them! In the end I risked tea and even the hot water had scum on it. I know I was not alone … bacon - HP sauce standing proud like a statue - no sausages, cooked tomato, fried egg etc! Pancakes and waffles - no syrup! Nice fresh bread rolls and croissants. Sliced cheese and packaged ham. Selection of cereals, orange juice and good selection of fruit. After 5 breakfasts I got fed up. WARNING - I was asked to give them my debit card to pay - she wrote down all the details! After I thought - why? I asked why - she said do they could charge me after I left if anything was missing or broken. I was assured this was legal in Portugal! I told them that was what “checkout” was for! I froze my card but I was really angry and when I have time to get a replacement I will need to cancel it! Balcony nice but only looked onto other rooms! Looking down - WHY NO GARDEN???!!! Just rooftops. I recommend a 4 hour boat trip …. Maybe 30m pleasant walk. Also hire bikes and go to the Nature Reserve - don’t miss Roman Salt Pits and beach crabs ….😊

Enjoyed a 3 night stay at Hotel Monaco in Faro, upon arrival was greeted at reception and quickly got my key to the room on the 3rd floor. The room was very modern, the staff had closed the curtains so the room was cool. Air conditioned unit kept the room Icy cold which suits me, very comfortable bed with a small lcd tv mounted above a small desk. Hdmi plugs behind tv if you wish to pop in your fire stick. Complementary wifi with speeds good enough for streaming Netflix etc Small balcony so if you wish can sit out, the bathroom was of average size with a bath tub with over head shower. Adequate for showering! Plenty of storage space, small safe and a fridge to keep your drinks cold. Small pool outside with plenty of loungers although I never used this. The bar is quite spacious and the bar staff very attentive to your requests. I read a few bad reviews about breakfast, well yes it’s served in the basement but is well lite and decorated. Plenty of choices for all, only hot items were scrambled eggs and local sausages. Staff constantly kept all the food stocked up and kept the area clean. Overall I’d stay here again, Uber to/from airport 6 euro (although there is a shuttle) only 5 min journey and around 8 euro to Faro town centre less than 10 mins so it’s a handy base. Also free parking in the small street outside and is mainly in a residential area which is very quiet day/night.

We did the Wowcher mystery holiday and ended up with this fabulous hotel ! The apartments and staff are incredible! The whole complex is very clean and tidy ! The food at the restaurant is very nice and plenty choice , the drinks at the bar have a great choice and I need to give a special mention to one member of staff who literally ran around and was an absolute super star our whole visit , he practically ran the restaurant and the bar single handedly the whole 4 days we was there , his name is Fabio

I couldnt recommend this place enough. Gorgeous, safe building in a prime location in the town centre - the staff are really helpful and the facilities are some of the best I've ever seen in a hostel. Brilliant kitchen, well equipped, brilliant showers and toilets, clean rooms with very comfortable beds and lockers with keys provided. Space wise, it fit my well packed 40L pack, small items, plus a large tent. All really good. Definitely book in if it's within your budget!
