The L Motel Downtown/Nau Conference Center

When we checked in the owner said that they were in the middle of renovations and that the Walls may have patches/holes and i asked ok well how about roaches he said "oh no bugs, thats my main priority is no bugs". We get to our room no cover on 2 beds but 1 bed had a cover but was very dirty idk if they were stains but it was dirty. Next our beds were sitting on 2x4 frames Next we had 1 towel and no toilet paper, went to the front desk to get these items and they were closed so i had to purchase my own toilet paper. Next i went to put a warm up in the microwave and bam roaches in the freakn microwave. Then as i was walking to the rest room i almost twisted my ankle as i stepped on the carpet their was a whole underneath. So i had to really watch my son so he would'nt fall. Also the doors to the restroom were all busted up. Bad experience overall. No wonder they have a Non-refundable policy.

Said they were working on construction and that's why it was so dusty in the room. Three beds, all of which were worn down to the springs and extremely uncomfortable. Did not stay the night and requested refund.

This hotel was reasonable for our short overnight stay. It was a bit pricey for the condition it was in. But I understood why, once the owner explained that they are in the heading into the beginning stages of remodeling. Once it's done being remodeled, my family and I may go back.

My key wouldn’t work for my room, my door didn’t even lock, everything in the room smelled and was so filthy. I had to sleep on the towels on the bed so I wouldn’t touch anything. The toilet in the restroom just had a disgusting smell and the shower was so gross to use. I would never stay there again.

The towels were old and thin, wrinkled..which made me wonder if they were clean. The television wasn’t set up right so we didn’t watch it during our three days stay. Other than that it was okay.

I was not expecting anything overly nice, but at minimum, expected cleanliness. The carpet and coach were filthy and had stains. The pillows didn’t have pillowcases and were also stained, as was the sheets/bedding. The bed and pillows were also lumpy and extremely uncomfortable. Most of the outlets in the room did not work - we were told it was due to new wiring being put in. The outlet in the restroom, of all places, had exposed wires. We didn’t even shower - there was mold and it felt cleaner to forgo. Considering this I was found on *******, was shocked by what I found. And to think, we paid $200 for this. Would not recommend.

This is the worst place I have ever stayed. All the doors were worn out. There was no hot water in the shower. The carpeting was worn out. I could go on. Avoid at all costs!

Double room 2 beds different sizes one newer one ancient good tv hot water in the shower was pinned to wouldnt get more then luke warm water just what u want after a 12hour day!

It's not glamours - but it's in a great location, the check-in was incredibly easy, the beds were comfortable and the rooms were warm. The staff really made the difference! I could see us staying again in the future for those quick road trips!
