I personally like it better, facing the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, and going out is the queue š. Within 1 km of the surrounding area, there are many attractions, many restaurants, and many shops. If you are tired, go back to the hotel and rest before you come out to continue. Very convenient! The hotel service is very good, the front desk is small, but you must answer any questions, there are people on duty 24 hours, everything will be resolved immediately. There is also a 24-hour beverage bar, coffee and tea sparkling water, cookies, and sweet wine before going to bed. You can pick it up at any time. The funniest thing is to wear it in pajamas. Although the facilities and equipment are flawed, they are pretty good. They have everything and there is an elevator, but up to three people, the room is small, the bed is good enough to sleep comfortably, but the luggage cannot be spread out. The bathroom is also small, so you have to be slower and slower when you take a bath. The breakfast is ok, just a normal Italian hotel breakfast, not very rich but it has everything. There are not many rooms, it should be 16-20 rooms, so when booking a room, it is recommended to book the best room, the view is very good, the window opens to the cathedral, and the room with a terrace is on the other side.

It wasn't a Duomo Cathedral view, but it's in front of you. The entrance is on the street? It's next to Mr. Pizza, which I didn't see well because it was covered in the same thing !!
There is a clean kitchen, so I went to the nearby Korean Mart and bought ramen and boiled it and ate it :)
Clean every day, fruit, walk to Cruise every morning without breakfast.
It's like a lounge on the fourth floor and the first floor !!

The hotel is conveniently located between Duomo and the train station. Since we had to catch a train the next morning and didn't have time to eat the hotel breakfast (which started at 7 o'clock), we asked the front desk if we could provide food for the trip, and we got a positive answer. The next morning, we got a bag of breakfast, which included juice, yogurt, chocolate cake, white toast, jam, simple sandwiches with cheese, tomato and lettuce, as well as oranges and apples.

This hotel is a charming accommodation option that perfectly blends elegance and comfort. The hotel lobby is beautifully designed, and the environment is as quiet and pleasant as a garden, giving people a unique Italian style. The doorman's warm service and polite greetings add to the feeling of being at home, and the check-in reception is also very particular and thoughtful.
In terms of the guest rooms, both the comfort of the bed and the cleanliness of the room are first-class. Every detail reflects the hotel's high standards of cleanliness, and the bathroom is always spotless. However, the design of the shower room is slightly inconvenient and may cause water overflow, but overall it does not affect the accommodation experience.
The top lounge on the sixth floor has a view of the Florence landmark building, the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, which is absolutely outstanding. There will be barbecues and bars in summer.
Breakfast is a highlight here, and a hearty breakfast on the second day is definitely not to be missed. The rich Western breakfast selection, coupled with exquisite presentation, brings a perfect start to the day. From the environment to the service to the dining, this hotel undoubtedly provides travelers with an unforgettable stay experience.

The location is superb. Breakfast is great with a number of varieties like pastry, cold cut, fresh fruits, dairy milk and yoghurt, etc and a magnificent view. Responsive service from front desk during check in/out and restaurant.
Mattress is so hard compared to other 4/5 stars hotels in Italy. I have booked double room which comes with 2 single mattresses aligned to each other. We also smell some old furniture smell in room.

Next to the old bridge in Florence, 403 river view suite, the living room and bedroom have floor-to-ceiling windows facing the Arno River, the location is good and the scenery is good, but the heating is not too hot. On the third day, we were upgraded to the larger family river view suite 405 next door, with a dining room for six people and two bathrooms, which is even betteršš» The hotel breakfast is also very rich. recommend!

This is undoubtedly one of the best hostels I have stayed in in Italy and Iāll tell you what happened. Basically I was quite late to check in and checked in only at around 6:45 pm in the evening and initially the room I was offered had only upper beds left and all the lower berths had been occupied. Gaia at the reception was so kind ļæ¼ she actually looked up all the rooms available and suggested after almost looking up for 30 minutes as to where she could place me as I did not want to sleep on an apple bed she gave me another room which was room number 13 and I had originally booked for an eight bedroom but I paid a little bit extra to get into this four bedroom and I was very happy because the room was speaking span. There was ample space and bathroom and toilet was separate which meant it could be used by two people at the same time, conveniently, especially in the mornings when people are in a rush and the plug points were very ideally placed! I loved staying here and even paid ā¬10 for a very fancy breakfast! Iād love to come here again.

VERY CONVENIENTLY LOCATED.. Every important landmarks are mostly within 15 minutes max radius of the hotel.
And I can't stress this enough about the Helpfullness & Amazing Service of the staffs..
Very responsive, very friendly , very2 eager to help.. a big shout out to DAVID at the reception & AMAN from the kitchen.
The hotel is just been renovated earlier this year so everything is still looking fresh & clean.
We love to come back to Florence & we will be back at Room Mate Luca when we do..

Excellent
MMarcos 305Villa Tortorelli is a charming mix between a bed-and-breakfast and a hotel. My experience here was mostly positive, and while there were a few minor issues, I could tell that the staff genuinely does their best to run the villa as smoothly as possible.
Check-in & First Impressions
The first thing to note is that the villa is designed to work with automated check-in processes, which is great for most travelers. However, it could be better explained to future guests to avoid any confusion. Not everyone will have a working phone or data plan when they arrive in Italy, and itās important for the villa to have a backup plan in case guests are unable to connect.
One simple suggestion would be to provide Wi-Fi access at the entrance of the villa and share the network name and password with guests before their arrival. This would make it easier for everyone to access the automated system without any issues.
Room & Comfort
I stayed in the Deluxe Suite, located on the first floor of a three-story villa, right next to the breakfast room. At first, I was concerned about noise, but the thick, heavy door completely blocked any sounds from the breakfast area. I never heard a thing in the morning.
The room has blackout curtains that provide great privacy and darkness, which I really appreciated. The bathroom was newly renovated with luxury finishes, including stone walls that give it a high-end feel. The room was clean, and the daily housekeeping service kept everything spotless, with fresh towels replaced daily.
One of the standout features of Villa Tortorelli is Karen, the person in charge of breakfast service and housekeeping. She is incredibly attentive and hardworking. She ensures that guests are well taken care of, and the breakfast is always well-prepared and served hot. Honestly, if they lose Karen, the villa would lose two stars in reviews. She is one of their greatest assets.
Breakfast Experience
The breakfast service was excellent. The food is prepared fresh every morning, and Karen makes sure there is always a variety of hot and cold options available. The breakfast room is cozy and inviting, with plenty of choices to start your day off right.
The Villaās Atmosphere & Location
The villa is peaceful and surrounded by greenery, making it a relaxing place to stay. Itās also within walking distance of all the major tourist attractions in Florence, which makes it very convenient for exploring the city.
One Minor Issue
The only negative point during my stay was that the room felt quite cold when I first arrived. However, I reached out to the WhatsApp help service, and the heating system was adjusted quickly. Within a short time, the room felt much warmer and more comfortable.
Final Thoughts
Overall, Villa Tortorelli is a great option for those looking for a peaceful, well-located stay in Florence. AAnuradhaBreakfast can be much better. It is an expensive hotel but their breakfast buffet doesn't have fresh fruit, poor cheese selection and they also don't serve multi grain bread.
For some reason, i felt like the staff were serving the Europeans faster.
Also, at the hotel reception, the staff will give you incorrect information regarding the city tours and hotels. Please be careful

WWanderlust SuA very updated hotel with a unique shower as shown in picture. It is conveniently located. Outside our room was a view of the tram station. We did not take it because the hotel is just a 10 minute walk to the city centre. We loved the breakfast as there was a pancake making machine.

There was also no heating system. However, its location was excellent for visiting Florence's historical and natural attractions.

GGuest UserIt's in a great location, 7 minutes from the station and 10 minutes from the Ufutzii Museum, but it was hard to find because there was no hotel sign! I was standing 10 meters away, but I couldn't find it even after walking back and forth, so I asked a nearby hotel staff member, who pointed to a small door and said, āIt's right there.ā I pressed the intercom, had it opened, went up to the third floor, and finally checked in. The room was cute, and when I told them I was leaving early in the morning, they were flexible and said, āI can make breakfast at the breakfast shop and have it delivered the day before.ā There was a shower, a refrigerator, and bottled water for the bed. If you leave the room and go up one level, there is a shared terrace with a view of the roofs of the ancient city. If the check-in goes smoothly, it's a great place to stay.

GGuest UserIt's a little far from where we want to go. The roads in the city are difficult to walk and taxis are hard to get. But the hotel is still very good. Very considerate service. The elevator is small. There is not much space for one person's luggage. It's better to let the waiter take it and deliver it to the room

SSoleneAlthough the location is pretty far from the city Centre, riding the tram was pretty easy and convenient (about 20 min to downtown). The staff at the desk were friendly and helpful. Breakfast in the morning was buffet style with a variety of breads, baked goods, scrambled eggs, yogurts, meats and cheeses. The room was very clean and the cleaning staff are very diligent. Also the furniture choices for the room were perfect. Small side tables and a small desk didnāt take up too much space. The only things that were a bit dissatisfying were the noise level (we could hear other guestsā alarms in the morning and stomping in the upstairs rooms) and some parts of the room were a little worn or old, including some damage to the wall and baseboards, missing grates from the air conditioning vent.
