"The room was very spacious and extremely clean. There's free parking in front of the hotel, and the West Slope Visitor Center is just a three-minute walk away, which is very convenient. The service was also excellent. I arrived at the hotel at 3 AM to check in, and the receptionist was incredibly helpful. She had already turned on the room heater, making it very warm as soon as I entered. She even helped me buy instant noodles and prepare hot water late at night. Highly recommended!!"

The in-room coffee capsules and beverages were plentiful, and the breakfast was delicious. The resort offered a variety of fun activities; we tried shooting, archery, and ATV, and even saw some deer. It's a peaceful and wonderful place."

"I'm a foreigner working in Shanghai, and this is my third time visiting Changbai Mountain, but this was the best experience yet! The guesthouse owner was incredibly welcoming and provided excellent service. Not only did he offer free airport pick-up and drop-off, but he also picked me up and dropped me off daily during my five days at Wanda Town, always available whenever I needed him – so convenient! He also recommended many fun activities nearby and even negotiated huge discounts for me, which was fantastic! The guesthouse's location was also incredibly convenient, only a 3-4 minute drive from Wanda Town. Previously, when I stayed inside Wanda, I had to wait for a shuttle bus to the ski resort, but this place, though outside the town, saved me even more time. There's a supermarket and a restaurant next door with delicious food that's much cheaper than inside Wanda. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and spacious, all at a great price. It was my first time sleeping on a heated kang (traditional Chinese bed), which was initially quite novel, but it was surprisingly comfortable and warm. The breakfasts were also very plentiful; after breakfast every day, I didn't want to eat lunch and wasn't hungry even in the evening. I was extremely satisfied with my stay this time, and I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I come to Changbai Mountain! Highly recommended!"

Wanda Ruijing Hannashan Hot Spring Hotel

"We stayed in the family suite, which is perfectly designed for a family trip, especially with two kids. It has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a living room. The hot springs are right downstairs, which is super convenient for guests. Breakfast, however, was a major drawback. Forget about the variety, the breakfast hours were only from 7:30 AM to 9:00 AM. None of the other hotels in the resort have such late hours. We had booked a rafting trip and could only manage to get on the earliest 6 AM slot, and I was constantly worried about not making it back in time for breakfast. Luckily, we just caught the tail end of it. To make matters worse, despite the room being nice, the showerheads had issues. I'm not sure if it's the water pressure or the design, but to get hot water, the stream would become incredibly tiny, even smaller than the faucet. If you tried to open it up a bit more, it would turn cold. Both shower rooms were like this. I put up with it for the first two days by showering at the hot springs downstairs. On the last day, I finally brought it up to the hotel, and they sent a fruit platter as compensation. But honestly, the quality of the hotel's fruit was really disappointing."
