Guest UserThis hotel is in an excellent location, just a few hundred meters from the Wanda Resort, with plenty of dining and entertainment options nearby, and beautiful scenery. The owner is incredibly welcoming, always smiling with a warm, honest expression. Their travel itinerary suggestions are exceptionally professional; they planned our three-day trip perfectly, ensuring we saw everything without feeling rushed or tired. It truly felt like coming home, and it significantly improved my impression of Northeast China. Definitely a full-mark recommendation!

Guest UserThe resort's natural environment is simply stunning – quiet and therapeutic. Looking out from the balcony of the Hoolike Hotel, it feels a bit like a mini-Switzerland. Breakfast was also good, with a wide variety of options, catering to everyone in the family, especially the kids who were very happy.
Now for the drawbacks. First, the shower uses energy-saving facilities with a time limit, which caused a bit of anxiety while showering. The air conditioning isn't central, and there's no AC in the living room at all, making it feel a bit stuffy even in late August. Housekeeping wasn't very thorough; when we moved the beds together, we found significant dust accumulation behind the headboard, which was concerning as my child has a dust mite allergy. The bedding and towels were a bit old and not very comfortable to use.

Guest UserThis hotel is genuinely excellent. From the moment I first saw it, to checking in, and finally entering the room, there's absolutely nothing to complain about. I particularly want to highlight how incredibly clean the room was; it's clear the hotel does an amazing job with their housekeeping. Even though it's in a forested area, the bedding felt wonderfully dry and comfortable, unlike the dampness you often find in other mountain regions. In the evening, there's a hot spring available, both indoor and outdoor, which the whole family really enjoyed. The indoor hot spring has two large pools and even a slide 🛝, so both adults and children can have fun. We arrived early, so there weren't many people, and our family had a very enjoyable soak. Breakfast was also quite good, and you can order lunch and dinner at the restaurant, which was delicious. The hotel is super close to the West Slope ticket office, right near the mountain gate, just a 2-minute walk. If you're planning to visit Tianchi Lake, you can go straight in. Highly recommend!

Guest UserHow can you visit Northeast China without experiencing a traditional 'kang' (heated bed)? This resort is tucked away deep inside the scenic area, offering peace and quiet, and plenty of fresh air. This trip, we, three adults and two children, stayed in two family deluxe rooms, and it was the most comfortable three days of our Jilin trip. The rooms were spacious, and the three-meter-wide kang easily accommodated three people. The restaurant also offered great food at reasonable prices, and the staff were incredibly warm and attentive. We couldn't even use all the perks the resort offered; the kids absolutely loved the hot springs and didn't want to leave even after two days of soaking. Next time, I'd love to try visiting in winter.

We celebrated the Mid-Autumn Festival here, and the complimentary mooncakes were incredibly delicious. We even got to watch fireworks, and the surrounding scenery is beautiful. I brought my parents here for a 3-day stay, and the whole family was very satisfied! The guesthouse is a tranquil oasis amidst a lively area, with a small courtyard at the entrance and even the owner's own vegetable garden – it's so cozy and clean. My parents enjoyed having tea and sunbathing there every morning. The owner was incredibly patient, helping us plan a relaxed, unhurried itinerary, and the location is absolutely perfect, very close to all the attractions we wanted to visit. The room was quiet, charmingly decorated with a unique touch, and very comfortable. All the furniture in the room had no sharp edges, and the hot water was stable 24/7, with a temperature suitable for seniors. The cleanliness was meticulous; there wasn't even dust in the back of the wardrobe. My parents said it was even more comfortable than being at home! From facilities, hygiene, environment to service, everything was impeccable. It's truly the perfect choice for a trip!

Anonymous UserThis resort's hilltop location offers breathtaking views, which is its biggest draw. The forest environment is quiet, and the room size is decent, with a complimentary minibar. The shuttle bus service to and from the town is quite convenient. However, the hotel is a bit old, and some facilities show their age. Being in a mountainous area, you might occasionally find small insects in the room. Amenities are limited; the gym requires a shuttle ride to another building. Prices can be high during peak season, and service response times are average. It's best suited for travelers who prioritize views and a peaceful atmosphere.

Guest UserThe hotel is a bit old-fashioned, and there's an odor in the elevator. However, the room hygiene is excellent, and the bedding is soft and comfortable. You can also enjoy hot spring water showers and direct cold mineral water. The price is very good. The complimentary hot spring tickets offer great value, allowing you to try all the indoor (bicarbonate/strontium pools) and outdoor (herbal pools) hot springs. There are also some spa treatments that are perfect for a family outing. Most pools are warm, but you can also challenge yourself with a high-temperature pool to work up a sweat.

Guest UserThe happiest stop on our 10-day family trip! (^.^)
Service: What I want to praise the most 👍 A special thanks to Song Yuchen for letting us extend our stay at the hotel for an extra day, saving us the hassle of switching hotels with the kids. Communication was incredibly smooth, and her problem-solving skills are top-notch! 👍 She also thoughtfully adjusted our package and arranged hotel activities, allowing us to fully experience the joy of a family-friendly hotel. My sincere thanks!
Environment: Located at the foot of Changbai Mountain, the environment speaks for itself. However, the location is a bit remote, and there are no other amenities nearby.
Facilities: The hotel facilities are comprehensive, and there are even three deer, which captivated the children. I suggest adding washing machines, as they are essential for longer trips.
Hygiene: There were some cobwebs in the corners of the door. Considering it's a mountain house, it's understandable – a minor issue that was completely overshadowed by the excellent service. 😊

This guesthouse has such a great vibe! The front desk area itself was already lovely, very Western European in style, and the rooms also had a fantastic atmosphere. The concierge messaged me on WeChat beforehand and gave me tons of tips and recommendations. It's only about a 15-minute walk from the guesthouse to the visitor center, which is super convenient.
They also offer activities like handicrafts, sutra copying,溪溯, and ginseng digging – so many experiences to enjoy! 🤩
Another pleasant surprise was getting a room upgrade, which also included breakfast. I absolutely love the front desk lady! 😍

This was my first time visiting Changbai Mountain, and we chose to stay in these cabins for our first night. The weather has been warm these past few days, and it's a bit remote here, so the snow is pristine. It was my child's first time seeing so much snow, and they could play right outside the cabin door while the adults relaxed inside. If you like peace and quiet and getting away from it all, you might enjoy this. There are also some small attractions nearby to explore, and the little dogs and cats add a charming, rustic touch. Afterwards, we went skiing at the Luneng Resort Hotel, but the snow play there wasn't as clean as it was here.
Of course, the accommodation isn't as luxurious as a resort hotel, so if you're particularly picky, this might not be for you. It really depends on what you prioritize; this place is all about the ambiance. For dining, there's only one iron pot stew restaurant right outside, which is decent. If you're staying for multiple nights, you won't have much variety for food. Overall, I'd say it's a good idea to combine a stay here with a resort hotel to experience different vibes. My child really loved it.
