This guesthouse is brand new, with an elegant style and fully equipped, smart facilities. The special elevator is a great touch, making it easy to move even large luggage. The airport pick-up/drop-off service was excellent. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Both the owner and the service staff were very thoughtful and attentive. The large TV felt just like having a home theater. I'll definitely stay here again.

My overall experience at the hotel this time was incredibly pleasant, and I especially want to commend the front desk staff! As soon as I walked in, they proactively came forward to greet me warmly. Their attitude was consistently gentle and polite, without a hint of perfunctoriness. When I inquired about the check-in process, the staff patiently and thoroughly explained each step. If there was anything I didn't understand, they would repeat the explanation in detail, and proactively helped me verify information and reminded me of important points, saving me a lot of hassle. They handled issues efficiently and without delay, responded promptly to requests, and showed empathy by thinking from the customer's perspective. The entire communication process was smooth and comfortable. Guest Service Manager Wang Bingshu provided professional and warm service, with thoughtful and meticulous attention to detail, making me feel genuinely welcomed from the moment I arrived. This experience was perfect, and I will definitely choose this place again if needed in the future, and I highly recommend it to everyone!

The hotel is just inside the gate of Changbai Mountain as shown in the picture The only reason I chose this hotel is that they can help me book tickets and it is close to the entrance of Changbai Mountain (but I didn't expect it to be so close, probably less than 100 meters, it feels like I can see this pointed ticket gate after walking two steps) It is indeed a bit inconvenient to go out to other attractions, but we are mainly here to go to Tianchi so it's okay. The room environment is better than I expected, quite clean, and similar to the style of Beipo Lanjing And the front desk service is very enthusiastic, especially a sister with round eyes who really tries to meet our needs as much as possible. We didn't bring a hot pack and couldn't find the store, and she also helped us find a colleague.

Impression: The hotel is so cute and really kids oriented. Its newly built and opened, hence not all taxi driver knew about the location. In Trip.com - English, the name is Sunggari Club Hotel. But if you want to ask taxi driver or bus, you should mention Sungouli instead and search in Amap using chinese name given in Trip.com. Location: West slope of Changbaishan. If the weather permitted, you can see the peak of Changbaishan from far away but very nice view. It was more happening at night around Swissotel area and more shops and restaurant around that area. Hotspring located in Clubmed building not far ifrom Swissotel and Burger King. The shuttle bus will only drop and pickup at Swissotel and not Clubmed, so you have to walk back to Swissotel once you finished with the hotspring. Pros: 1. Kids friendly - decorations, play area, room. All so cute and pretty. 2. The room package inclusive of the entrance vouchers and activities - skiing, deer place, hot spring, special event, breakfast. So it is really worth the money. 3. All the staffs are so friendly and helpful - even tried their best to communicate with us in English. 4. There is laundry room with washing machine and dryer and the detergents to wash and dry your clothes. Cons: 1. The hotel supposed to be kids friendly, but smoking is allowed inside the hotel. We've requested non-smoking room and we've got it. but the problem is, it is not non-smoking floor. Shockingly, there is smoking area in the hallway of the rooms besides the elevator in every level. So the smell will travel to the entire hallway and into the room. Since it was winter and heavy snow, we can't really open the window to let the smell get off. It was so suffocating. Really frustrated in regards of this as I strongly suggest for the hotel to consider implement a strict rules not allowed smoking in the premise and have a dedicated smoking area far from the room and eating place to promote safe place for the kids. 2. Even the hotel considered new, the toilet bowl still old-school, not automated as most of the new airbnb/homestay that we went. So for Malaysian, no bidet is the big concern 😅.

Our first stop in Changbai Mountain was the newly opened hotel on the West Slope. They offered a complimentary airport pick-up service, which was super convenient as we didn't have to drag our luggage around looking for the hotel. The hotel itself is in a fairly lively area, probably the tallest building in town. The West Slope scenic area was closed, so we spent the afternoon enjoying activities at the forest park not far from the hotel, which was great since they provided shuttle service. Dining and shopping nearby were very convenient; there were restaurants all along the street and a local specialty shop across the road. The hotel breakfast was just okay, but I didn't have high expectations anyway. Ordering takeout was also easy, and a robot would deliver it right to our room.

Our family room had two traditional heated beds (kang), which was perfect for letting the kids play around freely – so comfortable! We stayed at the resort for two days and felt it was super suitable for families with children. Right outside our door was a courtyard filled with thick snow, allowing the little ones to play to their heart's content. If we go again, we'll definitely choose Yuangxiang Resort! The environment is absolutely beautiful.

We brought our parents and children to Wanda for a summer getaway and stayed in the Jin Hua suite. Our whole family was very satisfied. From before we even left, customer service representative Xixi sent us real-time updates: the weather and temperature in Changbaishan, available activities, how to get around, and so on—every detail was handled perfectly. They reserved a spacious room for us and allowed a late check-out. The service was prompt and responsive. Xixi and the housekeeping staff were incredibly thoughtful, providing plenty of drinking water and toiletries. This really showcased the genuine warmth and generosity of the people from Northeast China. We had a wonderful time in Changbaishan at a pleasant 22 degrees Celsius. We look forward to visiting again!

The hotel is centrally located within the Wanda Resort, with the ski slopes just a short walk away. Its back exit from the restaurant leads directly to the Haidongqing Ski Service Center, meaning no long queues for ski rentals or returns. The equipment is relatively new, and the flow is smooth, which is great for both beginners and advanced skiers. It's also close to the Dragon Cable Car, providing access to multiple runs once you reach the top, offering a fantastic ski-in/ski-out experience. The airport is about a 25-minute drive, and the hotel provides scheduled shuttle services, accommodating even late-night flights, making travel very convenient. The guest rooms are simple yet practical, with a moderate amount of space. The heating is ample, and hot water is consistent. The bedding is comfortable, and both soundproofing and cleanliness are top-notch. Some rooms offer views of the snow-covered mountains, providing a wonderful winter ambiance. There's also a NITRO co-branded floor with distinct ski elements, which younger guests will appreciate. Amenities include a gym and self-service laundry. The front desk service is responsive, and the staff are warm and attentive, promptly resolving any issues. The overall service is thoughtful. The 'Yue' Restaurant offers a rich and varied buffet breakfast, combining Chinese and Western options with plenty of hot food to refuel after skiing. For other meals, you can order authentic Northeastern specialty dishes, which are delicious and offer good value. Packages often include ski passes, hot springs, and water park access, making it a very cost-effective option for a one-stop vacation. On the downside, the rooms aren't particularly large, so multiple pieces of luggage might feel a bit cramped. Also, the resort's shuttle bus schedule is fixed, and you might have to wait during peak hours. Overall, these minor drawbacks don't detract from the experience. The location, convenience for skiing, service, and value for money are all exceptional. It's a foolproof choice for a winter vacation in Changbaishan, highly recommended for skiers, families, and leisure travelers.

The 3-day stay at Wanda Magic Forest Hotel with the Boomi day camp package was fantastic! A big thank you to the front desk for helping us upgrade to a themed room. The room was clean and the bedding was comfortable. It's a shame there wasn't a children's stool for the little ones to wash their hands, and the shower pressure was a bit low, but these were minor issues. Overall, I highly recommend it for families. Jack, the manager at the front desk, was incredibly warm, thoughtful, and attentive, resolving any issues promptly.

First off, a big shoutout to Butler Xiao Chen. I saw so many positive reviews mentioning a Butler Xiao Chen before I even arrived, and sure enough, he was the one taking care of me – I was thrilled!. Maybe it was the off-peak season and fewer guests, but my room got upgraded, and it was indeed quite spacious. However, it feels like the decor is quite old, as there were several stubborn stains on the floor that just wouldn't come off. As for breakfast, perhaps because it was off-peak, it seemed to be served in what might be the executive lounge. The restaurant was small, and the breakfast selection was pretty limited. Only three types of fruit were available, and there wasn't much to eat – basically, standard fast-food quality. But on my second day, there was a cinnamon bun that was genuinely good, which gave it a slight hint of a star-rated hotel. The restaurant staff were also quite good with their service, especially the auntie making the grilled cold noodles. Not only did she make them to order, but she also told me that the previous one had gotten cold and made me a fresh, hot one. This added a touch of warmth to what was otherwise a rather disappointing breakfast. Regarding the hotel's welcome fruit, it was literally bananas, apples, and big pears, which instantly took me back to kindergarten. The bananas looked good, but the apples were really sad-looking. They were all large, but their quality was such that I probably wouldn't even pick them out at a market. Finally, the room amenities. The slippers weren't very comfortable. In my recent hotel stays, the slippers at Aranya were much better. I visited the Westin in Zhoushan a few years ago, and honestly, these two hotels are quite different. But then again, the price difference reflects that. All the staff were excellent.
