The staff at the hotel’s gates have a very good service attitude and have helped many things. The front desk is also very welcoming. We recently stayed for 2 nights with a group tour. The hotel is directly across the street from Lake Geneva and a 15-20 minute walk to the old town area. There are a wide variety of restaurants nearby. We were originally given a room that overlooked the pool area. As soon as we walked in, the music from the pool area was overwhelmingly loud. The room was lovely, but the noise was unbearable. I immediately went back to the lobby to ask if there was another room available. I was really expecting them to say there wasn't one. As I waited for others in the group to check-in first, a hotel manager came over and asked if there was a problem. I explained about the noise and he said he would handle it. By the time I went back and got my wife, someone was waiting to escort us to a new room away from the pool noise. The room was lovely and quiet! Our luggage arrived minutes later. We were surprised at the thoughtful and efficient customer service. Later a box of chocolates arrived with a note of apology for any inconvenience. We were amazed! The hotel breakfast was good. We had no trouble finding a nearby restaurant for dinner each night. The concierge pointed us in the right direction.

Due to the flight delay, we arrived at the hotel late at night. The front desk helped us with a late check-out. The next day, the itinerary was not too tight. Thank you very much. This hotel was nothing short of perfection. Service was incredible! The room and the amenities were wonderful. The room we had was really a small suite. The bathroom including a bath tub and a huge shower was larger than many NYC apartments. Location is right on Lake Geneva. You're treated as though you were a guest in their home. Incredibly, even though the hotel is in a 7-story building taking up half a city block, there are only 24 guest rooms. To say the least, space is generous. While not cheap, this reinforces the adage ”you (definitely) get what you pay for. It should make the list of the top hotels in the world!

I received a wonderful welcome from the staff. They made my stay very enjoyable and were able to answer any questions. Room was clean and well appointed with comfortable beds and a good size working desk. I had dinner in both the restaurant and the bar. Service was good and staff attentive. Food was well presented and tasty. The reception area was spacious and I was able to spend some time before leaving for the airport catching up on work. Thank you all for your kind attention. It's so easy to write a review when the issues identified in the review of a previous stay last year remain uniformly the same. And since the hotel at that time wrote, ”you can be assured that your remarks will be discussed with our team so that your next visit will give you complete satisfaction”, but obviously did nothing, it seems fair to deduct another star from the rating. It's a pity, but I don't see why the blatant lie should be overlooked. So, copying word-for-word from my last review, ”almost all [problems] concerned breakfast, where the potatoes were tough and dry, where the buffet included no fish products (no lox, no hering, no whitefish) and no mushrooms, where the selection of bread was like that of a two- or at most three-star hotel.” Yes, it's exactly the same now as it was then. There are no other significant deficiencies at this property, overlooking the fact that it is a bit dated overall (though in good shape as far as I could see). Positives include: - Breakfast open from 05:45, this already sets the hotel apart - Gym fully equipped and open 24 hours; there is even apparently a pool - Room was large, with both a bathtub and a shower stall - Easily walkable from the airport (signage not perfect in a couple of spots) - Executive lounge food selection in the evening not very inspiring, just managed to be adequate Really, the hotel should address the deficiencies related to breakfast AND not dishonestly imply that you're going to but then fail to.

Great stay. Located in a quiet, safe residential area, with bus no. 8 (which takes you to a lot of the tourist attractions) stopping right in front of the hotel. Staff were helpful, responsive, friendly. They have snacks in the lobby which is helpful. Rooms are spacious but very basic in terms of decoration. I felt very, very safe here. Highly recommend. Improvements: Just remember to lock your door, as a solo traveler - I had the cleaners open the door a few times when they were ready to clean (they didn’t mean any harm, they thought the room was empty, but they should please knock! :) There are only two plugs in the room, far from the bed. You can’t charge your phone and lie in bed. A little more decor in the rooms couldn’t hurt as well. The rooms are plain. No mini fridges - keep that in mind. No mini toiletries, but they have larger soap dispensers you can use. Breakfast was basically the same everyday, though there was a lovely selection. (Cut fruit would also be nice) All in all, loved it!

Stayed here six nights in june. Fresh room with operable windows and lots of natural light. Quiet, and the fan system is very good for drowning out any extra noises.Very comfortable new bed and bedding. Wonderful to have lovely espresso machine in room with plenty of capsules. Also refrigerator. They have some kitchenettes which include a microwave, again this is very rare in europe, although more common in the us. Staff is extremely responsive and professional and friendly, unlike many other hoteliers who are very stressed these days and often reflects in a strained attitude. I received almost immediate attention for all my needs. Very stylish public areas with lots of cool contemporary art and many colors and loads and loads of fantastic art science etc books all around the hotel. Nice breakfast buffet in an extremely large and spacious seating area. Eggs, fruits, beans, lox, etc. I have a medical diet and they were very kind to make an adjustment for me. Wonderful location as it is off the beaten path but yet just a 15 minute walk to the train station and you can walk to the water and into the main town. Also was nice to walk to the big hotels easily and safely. Really loved my stay here and I will actually return for another two nights before I fly out later in the month. I stay in many hotels both in the US and around the world the last couple of years and it is impressive the service here and the attitude.

For Switzerland, this is good value! We asked in advance about travelling from the airport to the hotel and received clear friendly advice by return. The shuttle goes ever 20 minutes to a meticulous timetable. Do not try to walk with luggage or at night - it is complicated and unpleasant! Asked to check in on line but this seemed to make no difference to the actual process as gave same information on arrival. Room was small but in view of the price it was fine for one night. Bathroom is a standard pod for one at a time but all works. Good WiFi. Our room overlooked the motorway so you either had to open the window and hope to sleep or put on the AC. Breakfast, included in special room rate, was really good. The layout was initially confusing but everything was there from fruit to cheese even pancakes.

I frequently visit Geneva, and usually stay around the Cornavin Station. This time I booked a room in the Novotel Suites as I found a good online deal, and was more than pleasantly surprised. - Location: a bit outside the city center, between the airport and the center, but easy to be reached by bus. Coming from the airport, you take Bus 10, and get off at the Balexert stop. The hotel is at 50m. Similarly, bus 10 brings you to the city center (10min). Across the street is a shopping center (Balexert) with shops, restaurants, cinemas. - The Hotel: It is a 4 star property (It shares the building with Ibis), but it is not ”overly luxurious”. But everything works well, and is solid swiss quality. There is a restaurant (Swiss cuisine) in the building, and a parking. There is a nice terrace in the back to have a drink when the weather is good. Staff are very friendly. Free copy of the New York Times and the China Daily. (I did not have breakfast). As with all hotels in Geneva, you get a free card to ride public transport. - The Room: very comfy bed, good WIFI, all clean and well organized. But the most impressive is the size of the room: it is at least double the size of a standard room in Geneva. My room had besides a double bed, another single bed (hence 3 people could easily fit), a large table with two chairs, a microwave, mini fridge, water heater. Of course en suite bathroom. And AC, which is rare in Europe. Curtains kept the light out very well. Only drawback: you could not open the windows. - In summary: an excellent choice, especially if you want a larger-than-usual room, want airconditioning, need a parking and/or are travelling with several people who want to share a room.

This is really close to the airport and easy to get to on foot even with snowboard bags and suitcases! We used for an overnight stay before travelling onto final destination. It was exactly what we expected for the cost. The room was tiny, but clean and functional. We had a double bed with a single bunk over, clever use of the space. Our only complaint is that it was incredibly hot with no way of cooling other than opening the window, which slightly cooled, but you are right next to the airport so there are obviously numerous noises. There was air con gauge on the wall, but it didn’t work. It was unseasonably warm so maybe the heating for the building just hadn’t adjusted? The heater in the room was off, but the whole building appeared to be hot. Would recommend for short overnight stay if using airport.

This is a lower budget airport hotel option but they pleasantly surprised me with good things. Having stayed at 10 previous hotels on this trip, this was hands down the most comfortable linen and bed. Really comfortable. Convenient to the airport naturally but be aware if your flight leaves outside their shuttle times, you have to find your own way. I was able to walk but if it rains, or is dark and you have luggage, you would struggle. The breakfast was exceptional for someone with diet restrictions. There is good signage, the staff were well informed to help me with non-dairy milk. I was super impressed (photo attached). I stayed in a city hotel later in the month in Geneva and I was yearning to come back to this hotel, so that says something. Well done Ibis. This will make me consider Ibis all around the world now.

It is very convenient to go to the airport, but there is a shopping mall in the vicinity that is being renovated. It is convenient to eat the Chinese restaurant for 4 stops. There is also a botanical garden next to it. The air is good. At night, the plane asks the front desk if you can pay some money and check out later. Miss Sister directly said that we can live without us, because no one has booked it, the service is very human.

The Geneva Marriott is an attractive, contemporary hotel located roughly near the airport, and since the shuttle doesn't run that often, you might be better off making the walk, as I did. For me it was a matter of some 20 minutes, but depending on your starting point at the airport, it could easily be less. Much closer to the hotel is the quite large Balexert shopping mall at 7 or 8 minutes' walk. The center of town can be also be walked to, as the way is rather straightforward, though it is noticeably farther than the airport, making the trams that stop very close to the hotel an option. Of course you will have to ask for your free Geneva public transport card, as the hotel makes no mention of these at its own initiative. I liked the fact that I was offered a late checkout immediately on arrival. I didn't like hearing that breakfast is available to platinum Marriott Rewards members in the executive lounge only, a marked departure from standard practice elsewhere in Europe - not just at Marriotts, but also, for example, at their large American competitor also located near the airport. As it was, when I was ready for breakfast on the morning of my one-night stay, it turned out that something had gone wrong and as a consequence, breakfast was offered only in the restaurant. The assortment there was between good and very good, which I'm sure wouldn't have been the case in the lounge. The lounge had already disappointed the previous evening. I went shortly before 18:00 just to make sure that food would still be available when I was expecting to have the time, just after 19:00. The employee said yes, but there was virtually nothing left when returned; she might have had the courtesy to mention that they would stop replenishing dishes, but this would have required some thought from the guest's perspective. The gym was not so great, either; from a large and modern Marriott I'd expect better. All in all, acceptable, but if breakfast in the lounge is as meager as I suspect, then I would probably not favor this property.

The following is my view and observation of the Nash Suites Geneva where we recently stayed Positives Hotel Location - Great (5 mins from the airport and a regular shuttle) Hotel Staff - Very polite, courteous and helpful. Terry at breakfast was a legend Hotel Cleanliness - Excellent cannot fault. Room was tidied and replenished each day Hotel Shuttle - always on time and all drivers were great. Thank you All rooms have a window shutter, being so close to the airport means this stops the extra light and noise and you get a great nights sleep Negatives - I only have two pieces of advice for the hotel Breakfast - the only thing that stopped me giving them a 10/10. Nothing was labelled (my daughter is vegetarian) There was limited choice And what was on display was cold (even though food was kept in a closed heat tray, i don't think they were on or working as any item taken from it was cold. Breakfast is the most important part of the day as it sets you up the for the long day ahead. But after paying 20 Swiss Francs we were most disappointed. The hotel serves it from 05.30 am to 10.30 am but the lack of choice and cold food was a real let down hence my score of 8/10 as opposed to 10/10 If a would be customer emails you with questions please respond as soon as possible and fully answer all questions. Travellers Notes Airport Shuttle is located literally just outside Arrivals. Walk out the main airport doors and its 100 meters ahead just slightly to your right or left. The Airport does sign post it well If you want to make your way from the Hotel to the town catch the No. 10 Bus which is about 250 meters from the Hotel. on the right hand side outside the Crown Plaza Hotel - Stop De Longville. The hotel should provide you with a QR code which gives you free travel throughout the city on public vehicles Limited choice for food in the area. We had to make do with a small cafe 500 yards from the hotel or a petrol station next to it that had basic supplies or went to and back to the Airport for food (using free hotel shuttle) However, i would still strongly recommend this hotel
