"We booked a hotel at short notice. It was almost 22:00 when we arrived at Mount Cook. The front desk was already off work, so we left an envelope and keys. The facilities are just a motel, nothing special. It's okay if you just stay for one night. I took photos of the Milky Way at night. The next day we went to stay at the Hermitage. Of course, if it has facilities, we would recommend the Hermitage next door."
