The Holiday Park Hotel in the Big 4 Balarit gold mining area is located near the gold mining town tour area. The hotel garden is large and the facilities are relatively complete. The room was quite new and the bed was big and comfortable. It felt cold at night and the air conditioner was turned on.

The overall feeling is quite clean and simple, and the basics of living here are foreigners. So many positive things to say about Sovereign Park but the 2 memorable standouts which will have us returning would have to be, the SERVICE and INDOOR HEATED POOL & SPA! The booking & check-in process were both so easy. Jen served us throughout our stay, she was immediately warm and welcoming. After checking out and having mentioned we were going to explore the Wildlife Park nearby, we had a call from Jen about some precious plush toys our daughter had left behind. She knew how important it was to get it back to us so she wasted no time in contacting us before we made our way back home. The family room was comfy & cosy, clean and included all the amenities needed. The kids had the best time in the pool, spa & sauna. Mummy even got some time to spend in the gym, nothing flashy but complete & practical. Thanks so much & keep up the great service. This motel complex also has an adjoining Chinese restaurant, and it's of a very good quality, better than a few of the other Chinese restaurants in Ballarat that I've tried. The rooms are nice and clean and the check-in is very convenient. Location is right in the center of Ballarat, so close to basically everything. Staff are enormously helpful.

The location of the hotel is close to the city center. It is very convenient for shopping or visiting galleries and historical sites and culture. It is within walking distance. The hotel is opposite to McDonald's. It is open 24 hours. It is also close to Coles and Woolworths supermarkets. Free parking

Thanks for a great experience during our stay. We had a spacious family room including a queen bed, a single bed and double bunk. The kitchenette had equipment beyond the norm. There was plenty of natural light from full length windows near the balcony. We easily walked to cafes and supermarket.

Nice location and clean room, the only deficit is the quilt, the cover didn’t fit the quilt and it fells bit dirty itself. Rest is good.

Great country style hotel. Rooms are large, with a full refrigerator and microwave. Great location within the city of Ballarat. Easy check in and check out especially when prepaid.
