Having seen all the reviews of this place, it looked worth staying at. It's described as "shabby chic" - well, that's half right! Tatty, grubby, tired decor and furnishings. The breakfast room is nothing at all like the photographs on the website show. The breakfast (it has to be ordered the day before) was just about adequate. The cooked breakfast at £8 each, was a single egg, a solitary sausage, a lone rasher of bacon, and a serving of tomatoes or beans. Poor. The woman who runs it doesn't live there. The house next door is being or has been, bought by her and is being renovated (it's empty) so the workmen are there during the day. Great Yarmouth is marginally better than Skegness, but this guest house isn't the best.
