Given the high rating and reputation of this hotel, I was shocked by the conditions of the supposedly newly renovated rooms. I was staying at the standard room on the twelve floor , facing the historical buildings. We checked in after 10:30pm under the drizzles and chill - the outside temperature was around 10 degress. I noticed the holes of the linen of the blinds when they were rolled down, though it could still function. Yet, the light shield was worse. It was trapped on one side and could not be let down. The plus side was we were offered another room on the same floor immediately. Leo who helped to bring our luggage up was very polite and patient. He stayed outside our room when his colleague brought the new key of the new room and accompanied us to the new room to ensure everything was all right. He was worth 5 out of 5 for service. However, I would further explain why I only gave 4 out of 5 for service. Yet, the new room was smaller and for any other international hotels , from my experience, would offer an upgrade of the room. This hotel did not. Thats why I gave 4 out of 5 for service. The linen of the blinds in the new room was still far from 100%. I could still detect torn tissues , most probably because the blinds were dated. Thats why I gave a 3 out of 5 for facilities.

It is a wonderful option to stay in Guangzhou. The rooms are spacious and clean. It is located a few meters from the pedestrian street and that gives it a privileged location to move around on foot. Breakfast is served from 7:00 am and there are good Chinese and Western menu options. Just note that it is no longer a hotel operated by Holliday inn but is now called Voco.

Great value for money, super clean, comforable bed, beautiful river view from hotel room. Need to specific mention this hotel have very amazing, friendly and helpful staffs. (We left a wifi egg with charger behind and they gave it to us immediately when we check out!!) Walking distance to eateries and river cruise at the pier. Stay for 2 nights in this hotel, just a bit disappointed coz can't go to the rooftop bar due to events on both nights. Also need to mention elderly need to be very careful when using the shower room of the hotel coz their floor are made of marble. It can be a bit slippery. Other than that, I highly recommend this hotel and will come back next time. We had a wonderful time here, thank you very much.

This is the first Yaduo hotel our family stayed in China, but it is definitely not the last one. When we checked in the hotel, because we couldn't speak Chinese, we were worried that we couldn't check in. Unexpectedly, the waiter at the front desk of the hotel thoughtfully prepared a translation tool for us. It was really a very considerate operation. Because it's my first time here, we want to visit the Guangzhou Tower. After learning about it, the manager of the hotel took the initiative to plan the itinerary for us, and also used English standard time nodes and road maps throughout the whole process. This is a service I have never had in any hotel. Yaduo Hotel is an eye-opener. This is a warm hotel!There is no doubt that we will check in again. Thank you!

A five-star hotel with a very high price-performance ratio. It did not have much expectations at this price, but it actually gave me a pleasant surprise. The location of the hotel is not very conspicuous but the traffic is more convenient beside the main road. The Jiangnanxi shopping area is nearby, so you don't have to go far for eating and shopping. The decoration of the hotel is luxurious and elegant, and the perfume smell is also high-end. The lady at the front desk has a good service attitude and check-in is relatively quick. Although the room is not very new, it does not smell of smoke and is hygienic. The mattress and pillows are moderately firm and I slept. Good night, overall satisfying, will come again next time!

We booked a river view suite. Though the room was a bit dated but its size and floorplan was more like a presidential suite especially overlooking the pearl River. The river view was very grand and unblocking.. We really enjoyed the night view with multiple nightly cruises passed by every evening. The 5 star White swan hotel, people s bridge and ”sand face Island” were all within our view. As we are more like vegetarian, the Asian breakfast buffet have enough dishes for our taste. In fact, I can accept eating that type of breakfast everyday. To enhance your experience, you can walk across the people's bridge to ”sand face Island” through the old French style buildings and finally lead to the white swan hotel (if your budget allow, have a meal there). Of course, we did all those and more. What I didn't like and what the hotel needs to improve, please give hotel guests free access to the spa within the same building.

I think this is the best hotel in Guangzhou. Very clean, very quiet, excellent location, behind the barrier. You can't see anyone from the window, only the city and the river. Ask for the farthest room from the elevator. Spacious room. Roof fire. The staff is at maximum speed, running, helping, fussing. The house is very beautiful, the children especially like it! As soon as I lived in the evening, I said that I would not go out to play at night, and said that I would like to stay in a small room and enjoy it.
