"A good 1 night stop on our long journey from queenstown to the glaciers and Punakaiki. The room was basic but met our needs with microwave, kettle etc, plenty of hot water and a warm bed (it was very cold in Haast at the time). The staff were very friendly and informative of the area. On the managers suggestion we drove to the nearby haast beach to watch the sunset. A well worth it local excursion."

"After arriving, because the hotel pump we booked was being repaired, the boss contacted another hotel nearby in advance for the passengers on this day. The room was very good and belonged to the business hotel. It was upgraded 🌝"

"Comfortable beds, I had a really good sleep. Great room amenities except that there is no individual fridge in room and the shared fridge in the common area is small. Just few minutes drive away from the city center. There is a restaurant run by the hotel, price is on the higher end but food is just so-so."
