Hotels in Dragon Tower/International Exhibition Center, Harbin

It was already evening on the day of check-in. It was dark and I was very tired from the journey. I didn't take a shower and didn't find any foreign objects in the shower head. After taking a shower, I found that the shower head was dirty with excrement. I had a strong aversion to the toiletries in the hotel (the hotel provides towels, bath towels, shampoo and shower gel). I was afraid that the guests would maliciously apply them and spread diseases. I questioned the hygiene. The cleaning efforts were not strong enough, and the cleaning was not comprehensive, only surface cleaning.

When booking a room, my only requirement was a clean room, so I specifically booked a hotel that had only just opened 25 years earlier. Overall, the hotel facilities were fine. I booked a room with a window, which was nice. However, there was one thing that really stood out: I found blood stains on the sheets and pillowcases. At first, I only noticed a small stain on the pillowcase, so I asked customer service to change it. They didn't say anything. After the concert, I returned to the room and unwrapped the covers to find blood stains on the sheets. I was devastated, but the housekeeping staff had already left work, so I asked front desk to bring the sheets and we could change them ourselves. They didn't say anything. The most frustrating thing was that it was already midnight, and customer service made us wait nearly half an hour for the sheets to arrive. Don't you even check the beds carefully before making them? Or did they forget to change the bedding after the previous guest left? What a flaw! Even the best service was completely negated by this!

The room is clean and hygienic, the breakfast is delicious, and the service of the front desk lady and brother is very good. The check-in speed is fast and they understand my needs. There is a light fragrance as soon as you enter the lobby. It smells very comfortable. You can also borrow books and provide reading for staying in the hotel. And there is a special delivery robot for takeout. I have to say that this solves the worry of not worrying about late delivery of takeout. The gym and laundry room on the first floor are self-service, which is very convenient. After the clothes are washed, the front desk staff will pack the clothes considerately. And the porridge in the evening is also delicious. I have to say that Atour is the first choice for business trips. It is really right. It is super nice. Love it.

Watching a concert at the stadium, the distance here is just within walking distance. The distance to the subway is good, and the location near the main street is easy to find. The environment is good, there is no smell in the room, and the sheets and quilts are clean. The facilities are simple and generous and have everything you need. You can write your room number when ordering takeout, and a robot car will deliver it to the door of your room.

Walking distance to metro which is very handy, some eateries and convenience stores nearby, breakfast was mostly Chinese but it’s more than enough, double windows to block the traffic noise so we had good sleep every night. Reception also provided good service such as attractions; where to visit; shopping and transportation etc. overall we had a very good time in Harbin.

I thought a hotel in the city center for over 700 yuan a night would be fine, but I didn't expect all the windows to be behind glass, with no external ventilation. If you mind, don't book. This building looks like a converted commercial building. Second, the toilet is a fake smart toilet 😂, it just flushes automatically and doesn't even clean your butt. Please don't mislead guests. Third, the breakfast is very basic, with limited variety. There are only two waiters, and the guy who makes noodles and wontons also has to help greet guests... Can't they just focus on cooking? Fourth, I don't understand the light in the bathroom mirror. Who needs a backlight? Guests want a bright spot, so who are you putting it behind the mirror for? The new renovation still has a bit of a stale feel. Overall, if the price is over 600 yuan, I advise against booking it; it's simply not worth it. The decor is new and certainly looks good, but the overall hardware, software, and service aren't up to par with a four-diamond rating. You should try other hotels. There are much better hotels in Shenyang for the same price in the city center for over 700 yuan. I still can't figure out how they got that price! How did they get a diamond rating? It makes me angry just thinking about it!

Room rates tripled for Zhou Shen's concert. The stadium is right across the street from the hotel, but despite the tens of thousands of people staying there, the hotel wasn't fully booked. Breakfast the next day was deserted. The front desk staff reminded me to give a good review during check-out. While I don't mind having bellhops, the two guys at the check-in and check-out desks didn't even offer a hand. What a great opportunity to make money from a concert! Shame on you guys! You're still not cutting corners. We'll try to raise the price next time we have a chance.

Price is reasonable for holiday express standard including breakfast.Breakfast is standard Chinese breakfast, not much fare for Western food here. Location is kinda far from attraction but the good news is the Didi App ehailing car services is cheap here. Room is clean and quiet for good night sleep for 4 nights. Subway is a bit far for walking g distance in my humble opinion.
