Upon reaching Harbin Taiping international airport after a long flight the last thing we wanted to deal with was more hassles & spending more unnecessary money. So we were pleasantly surprised to find that the airport bus to the Harbin railway station stopped right in front of the Tianzhu Hotel! On top of that it is a genuine hotel with well maintained full facilities. The bedroom is very spacious & comfortable with separate sleeping & sitting areas. Being on the 18th floor, our room was spotless, far from any noise & overlooked the square. At night when the whole city lit up we enjoyed watching the spectacular scene just outside our window! The area is surrounded by lots of eating & shopping places so we were spoilt for choice. A plus was the staff who were always smiling, attentive & helpful. Truly a well managed hotel! Being a mere short distance away from the bus station also meant that we could easily visit Unit 731, Sun Island, St Sophia’s Cathedral & Zhongyang Pedestrian Street. We had planned to train to Mudanjiang, Hengdaohezi & Changchun so being near the Harbin railway station was imperative for us. Thank you Tianzhu Hotel for the warm hospitality which was the icing on the cake to our wonderful holiday in Harbin.

The room was excellent, and parking was available. It felt like a high-end hotel. I booked a windowless room, but the front desk upgraded me to one with a large window. They even offered afternoon desserts. The value for money was exceptional, and the style was unique. The bed was incredibly comfortable. It's about a 10-minute walk to Central Street and St. Sophia Church, or just a short taxi ride for the minimum fare. Getting anywhere was super convenient, and it was very quiet. The first hotel we stayed at in Harbin. It was clean and hygienic, with convenient transportation—the subway station is just 50 meters away. There are also plenty of food options downstairs. The service was excellent, and they were very responsive to all our requests.

The hotel is located about 30 km from the city center. If you want to sleep peacefully and relax, this hotel is the best option. The hotel is located near art parks, museums, and centers. The service is excellent; the receptionists are very helpful and kind, and will help you with anything. There are two shops nearby, but the eateries close early.

Our stay was absolutely fantastic! From the warm and efficient check-in at the front desk to the helpful staff who safely stored our luggage, the service was attentive and professional. The room's cleanliness was impeccable; the bedding was spotless white, the floor was dust-free, and the bathroom had no unpleasant odors.

The location is super convenient! A ten-minute walk to the left takes you to Qiulin Company and Fendou Food Store, and another ten minutes gets you to the Provincial Museum. To the right, there are many snack bars and BBQ stalls, and if you keep walking, you'll reach the Church of the Intercession. It's also a short taxi or subway ride to Central Street or the riverside. Out of all the hotels I stayed at during my 10-day trip to Harbin, this one had the most convenient transportation. It seems they host a lot of group bookings, as there were always guests waiting to check in at the front desk every day. So, available rooms might be limited and you should book quickly. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, very patient and meticulous, and even assisted me with contacting a courier (੭ •_•)📦

The location is fantastic, right outside Harbin Station South Plaza. Transportation downstairs is super convenient with buses, subways, and airport shuttles all available. The front desk staff are all very enthusiastic and patient. Despite being near the train station, it's surprisingly quiet. The hotel windows have an outer glass layer, which provides both insulation and soundproofing. The only minor point is that there isn't a proper ramp at the hotel's main entrance. This might be due to the entire area being elevated with steps; the hotel is in the middle, while businesses on the sides can build their own ramps. Other than that, everything was great, and I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Harbin.

We decided to spend a little extra money going to Harbin because we wanted to make sure we were comfortable. The check-in process was very convenient, beds comfortable, room spacious. The front desk receptionists were also very helpful, especially on Chinese New Year’s Eve. The soundproofing is not amazing—we could hear a lot of the conversations outside the room in the hallway. The shower also wasn’t great. For such an expensive room, we expected better. After one day of use, the water stopped draining and started to pool. If the shower was longer than 5-7 minutes, the water was probably going to overflow. And then it took forever to drain completely. The toilet is a smart toilet, but it’s also very loud and has a neon blue light that doesn’t shut off at night. There’s no door separating the bedroom area from the washroom area, and the room darkening curtains are only fully covering the windows in the bedroom, so a lot of sunlight comes through the bathroom area, which was not super convenient. The room was definitely a non-smoking room and never smelled of cigarette smoke. However, the lobby oftentimes smelled of cigarettes. This was fixed with spraying some sort of perfume, but a bit disappointing that the public spaces were not kept smoke-free. There’s a delivery robot, free self-service laundry, and breakfast in the basement. The location is not super centrally located, and because Harbin is cold in the winter, it’s easier to take taxis to the center of the city than it is to walk or attempt to take the metro! Overall, the staff was very friendly and the hotel was nice, but I would definitely try to find somewhere nicer and or closer to the city center for a better price if I were to come back.

The location is excellent, making it very convenient for getting around. Given its proximity to Harbin Station, it offers great value for money. The facilities are complete, and the shared washer and dryer are practical and convenient. The bedding is comfortable and the environment is quiet, ensuring a good night's sleep. A small suggestion: The raised platform can be a toe-stubber when getting up at night; a motion-sensor light would be a good addition. Also, the bathroom door could be replaced with a sliding one to save space.

Facilities: All amenities were available, plenty of hot water, and the room temperature was a comfortable 23℃. Cleanliness: Generally clean, with only minor imperfections in a few small details. Environment: Quiet and suitable. Service: Excellent all around. We arrived early and were given a complimentary early check-in. Location: Close to the station, with convenient dining options nearby, and not far from Central Street. I'll definitely come back again.
