The hotel is ideally located right on Central Street. Its rich historical charm is a significant selling point. Since my child and I have different routines, I listened to the hotel's introduction twice – once with my husband and once with my child – and the experiences were quite different. The first young lady rattled through the information quickly, almost like reciting from memory. However, the second gentleman was very enthusiastic, telling stories, reminding us to record and take photos, interacting with my child, and even offering to get house-made yogurt for the little one, which was wonderful. The hotel introductions seem to follow a standard template and are a bit too short. Adding more stories would enhance the experience; for example, the introductions at Suzhou Nan Yuan Hotel are particularly engaging.
The hotel kettle is truly ancient. The lid pops open while boiling water, and it doesn't automatically switch off when the water boils, leading to it boiling dry. This is genuinely poor and poses a safety hazard. At breakfast, I asked for sesame oil for my child's noodles, and the noodle-making auntie initially said there wasn't any. I then asked if she could get some from the back kitchen, and she did eventually get some for my child. Overall, the stay was decent, but as a five-star hotel, it needs to improve its service, facilities, and staff training.

Harbin was the last stop on our Northeast trip, a last-minute decision, so I didn't do much research. I just booked this hotel because it was recommended on Ctrip. On the positive side, the breakfast was indeed excellent. Compared to the varied buffets at other hotels, this one mainly offers a à la carte menu. While the choices aren't extensive, the food was delicious. Both my child and I thoroughly enjoyed our two breakfasts. The overall service at the hotel was also very good. The only downside for me was the hotel's location. It's not particularly prime, being a bit far from popular attractions and the subway, so we had to take taxis everywhere. However, getting a taxi in Harbin was much easier than in Yanji. Also, I kept wondering why the hotel was called 'Sky Garden' until the last day when I saw someone climbing stairs and realized there really is a rooftop garden. Lastly, the 'tie guo dun' (iron pot stew) restaurant the hotel recommended nearby is definitely worth trying – it was delicious!

PcomAn excellent stay! This time, I booked an Executive Room and my family and I enjoyed the Executive Lounge service, which was very satisfying! The afternoon tea was great, and the evening appetizers were incredibly rich, featuring salmon and lamb chops, and the wine was also very good! The service at the Executive Lounge was excellent and very warm, and they were also very friendly to children. Miss Annie, in particular, was exceptionally kind and attentive. Before checking in, I also tried the coffee and desserts at the Lobby Lounge, which were also very good! Thumbs up! The gym offers a fantastic view! From the treadmill, you can see the Ferris wheel of Harbin Ice and Snow World and Sun Island, which is amazing! The Ritz's location is superb, not far from Ice and Snow World, Siberian Tiger Park, and Central Street, yet it's very quiet! Highly recommended, looking forward to staying again!

TangdouOn a whim, we decided to take a spontaneous weekend trip with the kids, and I randomly picked a hotel on the app, which turned out to be a pleasant surprise! First off, the room was spotless and fresh, even the bathroom was sparkling clean. The bedding was dry and comfortable, and the facilities were comprehensive – they even had a gym and a soft play area. The air conditioning worked great, and there was a rich breakfast spread. The lobby was also very photogenic. The front desk staff were gentle and polite, patiently answering all my questions. Most importantly, it was incredibly quiet, which was a huge plus for someone like me who has trouble sleeping.
The hotel parking was convenient with plenty of spaces, and you could see the mountains from there. The air was fresh and it was easy to get around.
This is a genuine review from a consumer who rarely leaves feedback unless they are exceptionally satisfied.

The hotel was clean and tidy. I chose to stay at the Sofitel Harbin for my trip to Harbin this time, and my overall experience was exceptionally satisfying. It truly lives up to its reputation as a long-standing, high-end five-star hotel in the area. The hotel's location is excellent, directly opposite Xiangjiang Park and adjacent to Wanda Plaza, making shopping, dining, and short excursions incredibly convenient. In my leisure time, I could even stroll through the park to enjoy the scenery and relax. The lobby features a French-inspired light luxury design with a sophisticated feel. The high ceilings paired with exquisite chandeliers create a rich and elegant atmosphere. The guest rooms are spacious and bright, and daily housekeeping is meticulous. The bedding is soft and skin-friendly, and each room is equipped with a humidifier, perfect for the northern climate. The double-glazed windows provide excellent sound insulation, ensuring a quiet and undisturbed rest. From the concierge to the front desk and housekeeping staff, everyone was highly professional. Check-in was efficient and smooth, and the service was attentive and discreet, without being overly solicitous. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of dishes, including local Northeastern specialties. The heated swimming pool and 24-hour gym are well-equipped. This hotel is suitable for both leisure travelers and business stays. My entire stay was incredibly comfortable, and I will definitely prioritize this hotel again on my next visit to Harbin.

MC5060Once again in Harbin, my first choice is still the Aoluguya Hotel. I heard this hotel is owned by the head of the Oroqen tribe from the Greater Khingan Mountains. The environment here is beautiful, and the culture is rich and profound. Waking up in the morning and opening the curtains, the first thing I saw was Harbin's famous Songhua River, as well as views of the Ice and Snow World. Plus, the hotel is located on Century Avenue, and the late-night snacks here are unforgettable. There's an old saying in Northeast China: ”There's nothing a good BBQ can't fix.” After eating, I felt lingering enjoyment – it truly lives up to its reputation. If I come to Harbin again, Aoluguya will definitely be my top choice!

Guest UserThey proactively upgraded our room and even gave us hot spring tickets, which was a nice surprise! The hot springs themselves were really fun, with lots of different pools. The soundproofing in the room was excellent, and breakfast was plentiful and delicious. We'll definitely come back if we get the chance.

The room was spotless, the bedding was clean, and the view outside the window was fantastic! There was a cute little notice about tiny ladybugs in the room, which was a novel experience for city kids who rarely see them 🐞. The hotel has a hot spring on the first floor, which was incredibly relaxing after a day of skiing. The staff were all very friendly; Ms. Wang from the rose pool even brought us water. This hotel is really great for families!

We booked at this hotel thanks to Chen who works at the Reception she was absolutely amazing at finding us a room for a week and we absoletely loved it. Wang who also works at the recepetion was an absolute gem as well she was so helpful and so was everyone in the hotel. However the best part were the staff in the ski rental area, oh my god they were the highlight of our day they were so friendly so helpful and were just so attentive to all our needs we are 100% going back there. The room was a dream, right in front of the slopes, the bereakfast was probably the best we had in our time in China. We highly recommend this hotel ❤️

Anonymous UserThe room was awful clean. The carpet was incredibly dirty, and there were broken bottles under the cabinets. I have no idea how they cleaned the place. The children's bed sheets were torn. Blood stains were visible on the quilt. The wallpaper was moldy. Many of the water park facilities were rusty. It looked filthy. The experience was terrible. The elevator didn't go directly to where you were going, leaving you feeling lost. The payment cards weren't universal. Some places required you to scan a WeChat QR code to pay, while others required you to swipe your card. The cleanliness of the Shuihui area was terrible. There was no cleaning. People were taking seats. The staff didn't care. They looked fancy, but they had absolutely no attention to detail. I would definitely not recommend this place to a friend, and I won't be back. For the price, the service was lacking, and the quality was lacking.
