The location is fantastic, right by the Songhua River! Cross the road and you're at the Songhua River and the cable car. It's just a 3-minute walk to the Flood Control Memorial Tower and Central Avenue. They even gave us a souvenir when we checked in and checked out. Our room included afternoon tea and snacks, and the breakfast was superb – truly outstanding! They had different Northeastern specialties every day, plus a wide variety of Russian dishes. You can really get a taste of the local cuisine. Highly recommended!

The front desk and room staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room was clean, odor-free, and the bedding and towels were spotless. The air conditioning worked well, and the bathroom had a great wet/dry separation. Having 24-hour hot water was a plus, and there's an elevator for convenience. They offer a free private parking lot. The location is excellent – you can easily walk to St. Sophia Cathedral and Central Street (even via an underground mall passage). Dining options are plentiful, with fast food downstairs, and there's a large supermarket directly across the street offering incredibly affordable fruits and pastries.

This is the best Hostel that I have ever stayed in. The location is right on central street (the street that is in all the stuff to do lists on Harbin). It is also only 10 minutes walking distance from the Saint Sophia's church. There is also this mall 1 minute walking distance from the front door called Euro Plaza a 7 story shopping mall with all the food and shopping you would need or want. Apart from its rooms, the hotel offers a common area and free washer dryers for its guests both of which are very clean. It also has refrigerators in the common area that it sells drinks out of, I even saw people store their food inside the right most refrigerators because there are no refrigerators in the rooms. Overall I would definitely stay here if I come back to Harbin.

The location is super convenient, right on Central Street. The room was clean, tidy, and comfortable. The bed had just the right firmness. Breakfast was varied and delicious; I ate there for two days and didn't have the same thing twice. For supper, they offered congee (century egg and lean pork congee on the first night, plain congee on the second) along with millet congee and some small side dishes. When you're out exploring during the day, you can grab bottled drinking water from a small fridge at the reception. The in-room teapot, cups, and tray were a nice touch for enjoying tea. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit.

The hotel's location is excellent, and they even upgraded my room! It's just a 2-minute walk to Central Avenue if you turn left, and the subway is also a few minutes away, making it super convenient for getting around. It's very foreigner-friendly. The hotel breakfast is also impressive, with great variety and quality. As an IHG brand, their management system meets the standards. I highly, highly recommend staying here; the experience was truly wonderful!

My stay at the Harbin Sofia Hotel far exceeded my expectations! There was plenty of storage space, so even with a lot of luggage, everything fit easily. It made for a truly comfortable stay. The hotel service also deserves a huge commendation. From check-in to check-out, every staff member was warm, attentive, and incredibly helpful, always ready to assist with anything I needed. It felt like a breath of fresh air. Breakfast was another highlight; the variety was immense, a great mix of Chinese and Western options, plus authentic Northeastern specialties. I always left feeling full and ready for the day. In short, this is a hotel with incredible value for money that truly makes you feel welcome. I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Harbin!

This is definitely my top recommendation for anyone visiting Harbin. Upon arrival, the front desk staff warmly greeted me with a genuine and kind demeanor. Check-in was swift and efficient, with no lengthy waits or complicated procedures. The staff were incredibly attentive, not only detailing the hotel's facilities and complimentary services but also patiently explaining Central Street's attractions, popular photo spots, and authentic Northeastern cuisine. They even offered helpful tips to avoid common tourist pitfalls and provided detailed transportation advice. Their sincere dedication made me feel truly welcome. Throughout my stay, the attention to detail in their service was particularly heartwarming. The housekeeping staff cleaned meticulously, ensuring every corner of the room, including the bathroom, was spotless. The bedding was fresh and fluffy, making for a very comfortable stay. Every time I encountered a staff member, they would politely greet me. When we had a last-minute need for some personal items, the staff responded incredibly quickly, delivering them promptly with patience and thoughtfulness. The hotel's additional services also showcased their attentiveness. There's a complimentary beverage station with unlimited refills, perfect for an energy boost anytime. Late at night, they even offer comforting congee, which was incredibly soothing after a long day. The hotel provides free luggage storage, convenient taxi-hailing services, and even robot delivery, which felt both secure and efficient. Check-out supported a deposit-free, zero-second process, meaning no waiting for room inspection, which significantly saved time. The service was flexible and truly customer-centric. Overall, the professionalism of all the hotel staff was outstanding. The service was impeccable, never perfunctory, and there were no hidden fees or aggressive upselling. Their genuine and thoughtful service completely banished any sense of unfamiliarity for a traveler from afar, allowing me to fully immerse myself in the warmth of the 'Ice City.' Next time I'm in Harbin, this hotel will be my first choice, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to all fellow travelers!

The hotel staff lacked attentiveness, and the room was poorly equipped. There were no tote bags, sewing kits, or children's toothbrushes provided. Usually, when guests check in with children, the front desk proactively asks if they need kids' toothbrushes and slippers. This hotel neither offered nor provided them in the room. Furthermore, there's a sofa bed in the room. When I called the front desk to ask how to use it, they did send someone to open it for me, but without sheets or blankets. This is a common issue the front desk should anticipate. When a guest inquires about the sofa bed, they should proactively ask if bedding is needed to avoid the guest having to call room service for this reason. The room service staff, an older gentleman, arrived with a stern look and snapped, 'Anything else?' Who calls room service for fun? It's simply the hotel's own service falling short!

I booked the basic room type through Ctrip for 90 yuan. The room was on the basement level, requiring a walk down stairs. The room was large and spacious, but it was surrounded by walls, had no windows, and no connection to the outside. Don't expect an upgrade to a room with a window or on an upper floor if you book the basic room type through Ctrip. My companion had a leg injury and was limping in and out, but still had to climb the stairs to the basement level. I wouldn't recommend staying here if you're traveling with elderly people, sick individuals, or anyone with mobility issues. Late check-out isn't allowed; you must check out by 12 PM. Late check-out costs 35 yuan per hour, clearly priced. Ctrip also doesn't offer their own extended check-out until 2 PM. We stayed in room 9 on the basement level. The air conditioning wasn't working well; the buttons wouldn't activate it. The joint between the bathroom and the main room was damaged, and my companion slipped there after it got wet, though thankfully wasn't injured.

It's impossible not to praise the spatial design at Junyi; the smooth lines, perfectly placed lighting, and consistent, well-coordinated decor throughout the entire space, with rich material layers, create distinct styles for the lobby, guest rooms, and lounge areas. It truly immerses you in a relaxed ambiance brought by the exquisite renovation. Thank you for accommodating my room type request; the natural light was excellent. The breakfast buffet was delicious, and the afternoon tea was exquisite. Special commendation to all the lovely and handsome service staff, and the doorman who helped with luggage. It was a wonderful experience, truly VIP treatment, and I appreciate the souvenir gift.
