Hotels Near Songhua River in Harbin

Location: The hotel is conveniently located 3 mins walk from Central Street, making it easy to explore the heart of Harbin. There are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. However, note that the road is one-way, which can result in a longer taxi ride. Room: My room was clean and well-maintained, with a comfortable bed. I appreciated the complimentary fruit, milk, and mini souvenirs provided upon arrival. Service: The staff were friendly and always ready to assist with any requests, even in the middle of the night. I am very grateful for their help, especially at 3 AM.

A hotel with a great location. There is a flood control memorial tower right outside the door and it is next to the Songhua River. At 21:00, I saw a music and light show in the square. The hotel is also very clean, the breakfast variety is very rich, and the maintenance staff responds promptly.

Pros: The hotel location is great, near malls, attractions, kfc, McDonald, local food. Love the room as our bed is on the second level (level 6) and we can see the plaza & car park & attraction across the street. Recommend: purchase chocolate from the shop next door (at hotel door facing the road, turn right). They sell really yummy chocolate with many flavours! Cons: hotel cleaning is not very well done. Can see hairpin, hair, snacks bits on chairs when we check in. Wanted to order food in the middle of the night but the hotel staff cannot help us.

It was our fifth night we decided to stay again here, REASON: LOCATION it was center of everything and value for money, I have 2 kids and they let us stay on the room for free and they also have free breakfast, we stay here for 5nights and the breakfast main dish change everyday. we choose to stay on the higher floor, 6th floor it is different from the room in 2nd floor despite of the same style of room. the room in 2nd floor is quite big and and good, but the room on the 6th floor is the cabinet does not have a door, and it quite old, but its okay we are just here to stay for the night because we go out everymorning, still nothing beat on value for money and location

The family room is quite spacious. We are a family of four. One big bed seems to be 1.5 meters and one small bed seems to be 1.2 meters. However, two people sleeping together did not feel crowded. The sheets and quilt covers were also very clean. We stayed for 2 nights, so we brought disposable bedding to change. The bathroom was also very clean. The toiletries were sufficient. Generally, family rooms only have three sets of disposables. Home Inn was very considerate to provide four sets. The only shortcoming of the room facilities is that the wardrobe can only hang short clothes. Long coats or down jackets cannot be hung. It would be better if it could be improved. Let's talk about the service. The reception staff on the first floor lobby was still very enthusiastic and patient. When we checked in, we were anxious to go out, so we gave the luggage to the staff and asked them to put it in the room directly. When we came back in the evening, we went to the room and the luggage was neatly placed in the room. The food we bought was cold when we got it to the hotel. The front desk on the first floor would help us heat it in the microwave. Sometimes when they were receiving guests to check in, they would tell us many times, ”Please wait, I will heat it up for you after I finish it.” There is also a tea room and a public gym, a laundry room and a toilet in the lobby on the first floor. Luggage can be stored on the first floor, which is very convenient. Because of the Winter Olympics, a small scene is also arranged in the lobby on the first floor, which is very warm. Let's talk about the geographical location of the hotel. It is close to Central Street and the Flood Control Memorial Tower. It takes 7-8 minutes to walk, about 12 minutes to walk to the Red Brick Street Morning Market, 5 minutes to walk to the subway entrance of Line 3, about 10 minutes to walk to Songhua River Carnival, and about 16-18 minutes to walk to Zhaolin Park (depending on personal walking speed). It is very convenient to eat, drink and have fun around. I highly recommend staying here.

Such a lovely hotel with the friendliest staff. The breakfast buffet was amazing with so much variety. Hotel was beautifully clean. Location was central to everywhere we needed to go and catching a DiDi was easy being on a main road. I couldn’t get my food delivery app working and the front desk boys let me order from their phones, just lovely. I don’t speak any mandarin but using a translator app isn’t a problem and some staff speak English. I received some free gifts and a beautiful checkout gift. I would definitely stay here again.

The location is ideal. Very close to the zhongyang pedestrian street and the river where you can partake in snow activities. The size of our room was perfect for a family of five and the floor heating worked great. Lots of places to eat nearby and convenient waimai delivery straight to our room. If visiting the harbin ice festival would recommend staying here rather than in songbei where there is nothing nearby.

My room smelled cigarettes even though it’s a non smoking floor, housekeeping changed the bedsheet and pillows as requested,. Managers were very helpful, one male manager helped me to carry my shopping bag and send to my room when he met me at the main floor. I would like to compliment Ms Amy Xu whom helped me to book a taxi as I do not have a local phone card . I am grateful for her help

Unexpectedly perfect accommodation, from the first floor shop through the elevator to the second floor front desk, the front desk is very welcoming, early arrival without room, can store luggage at the hotel, the door is the central street is very convenient. The hotel is clean, the room is big enough, there is heating, if you feel cold you can turn on the air conditioner, the shower water is enough.

Very nice hotel and facilities. The style is very nice. The service was outstanding, and the breakfast has a very huge variety of foods for both the western palate and asian palate. Also has a good varierty of specialties from tje chinese north east. Docking a few points from amenities since a coffee machine was said to be included in our room but there was none.
