The homestay is superb! The room is very spacious with high quality facilities. There is even a self service type of WC that is used generally in Japan & Korea. Lodge owner & wife ate extremely friendly, helpful & nice. They will ferry u around to activities in Yabuli free of charge. They can help to arrange tickets to attractions & help u with itinerary if u need advice. Even lend us ski jackets & helmets & googles without charge when go skiing. Even buy fireworks for my boy to play. Outside the lodge has snow slides & snow toys to play freely. This homestay is highly recommended. I will give 10 ⭐️ if there is. 😃👍

After taking 5 hours Journey on a 40 seater public bus that cost me 100 yuan i arrived at a beautiful homestay run by family, the homestay is the 1st at the entrance of the village. Room is comfortable with huge bed and heated bed and floor, eventhou the bed is just a thin mattress (its call a Kang Bed) but i still can sleep soundly every night. Only things need to change is the toilet because our toilet bowl is right at the center so i cant shower or use the basin (no space to stand)😀 They provide toothbrush and disposable face towel only so you have to bring your own towel and toiletries. Restaurant, reception counter and living room are together, this is a place for the owner and all guests to have meal and gathering. You will see them all day at the living room. We also have some activities such as making tanghulu (fruits coated with syrup), making dumpling and just chit chat eating popcorn and frozen persimmon and pear. Food is so yummy, no need to eat outside because you can order from this homestay. Breakfast is free. Its a simple and healthy- plain porridge, bun and pickles. The northern people are not so much into sugary or fancy drinks, even like tea or coffees. plain hot water is what they had most of the time. Lunch and dinner you can choose from their menu. Few activities you can do in town such as walk around town and enjoy the beautiful scenery like what i did, i also took the sleight horse (200 yuan) to go to the national forest and also stroll along the river for sightseeing. If u want to have ski, snow mobile, tubing there are 2 private own mini park that you can go just by walking distance 5-15 minutes. There is a bigger park Rime Ridge, also known as Wu Song Ling, is a place in Harbin, China where you can see rime and snow scenery, and participate in winter activities this will cost 400 yuan. At night there will be campfire and singing at the village. You can join for free. Go for a walk at night to see lots of villagers selling foods by the road side. I also enjoyed experimenting the ‘boiling water thrown into the sky’ ..beautiful effect from the ice steam. Most important please bring extra cash incase the alipay not working you will still have money. There is no bank or atm machine in the village. Its all solely depending on online payment such as allipay/wechat. I have problem with my alipay payment and I didn’t bring much cash so i cant spend so much at the village. The homestay owner knew about my problem so she worry i dont have enough money to eat so she cook meals for me FREE.. such a nice person. God bless her 🙏🏼 I wish to come again with my family, and i will stay here

This is my first time traveling to China and the first time I was very impressed, both the accommodation and the people. This hotel welcomed me very well, provided tea, the staff were smiling, even the housekeeper was lovely. The hotel is clean, beautiful, near the main road and many important places, easy to travel. If I have a chance to go to China again, I will definitely stay here again.

Amazing stay! The ski area is super nearby, I think walkable but the hotel staff always drove us. They helped with everything. I had a ski accident and hurt my leg and they drove me and my friend to the hospital free of charge. And helped with getting an x ray. Don’t expect alps for the ski area, but there were well maintained ski lifts and slopes and it’s definitely a very fun place to have some winter fun. We had fun with locals also!

It was my first time to go to Snow Valley and I booked a very good B&B. The owner was super nice and the people living there were warm and kind. Everyone chatted like friends and got free frozen pears and frozen persimmons. 🌟Participate in the bonfire party together and experience the Northeast duo 🌟The boss is super nice in organizing us to make candied haws together. 🌟Experienced making dumplings for the first time. There are many beautiful scenery in the Rime Ridge project🌟Skiing is very exciting 🌟Snowmobiles are super cool 🌟Banana Hovercraft There are still some that I haven’t done because skiing is too fun hahahahaha The aunt is very young and talks about life with us. The food she cooks is also delicious.

The location is very good, near to subways & attractions place like Zhongyang Street, Morning Market, Songhua River and St. Sophia Cathedral 😉 Owner and staff are very friendly and helpful. They invited us and all the guests to celebrate New Year Eve together. We went to Songhua River together to watch fireworks 🎇 We will stay here again if we visit Harbin 😉

GGuest UserHere's a revised version of your review: We are from Malaysia, and we coincidentally found this hotel after we failed to book a train to Harbin City. Fortunately, we found hard seating available to Harbinxi, which led to our journey here. The family room in this hostel is very spacious, and the private bathroom is large with solid concrete walls, unlike many budget hostels that use tempered glass partitions. The location is convenient, just a 9-minute walk to the station and several large shopping centers. To access other popular areas, you can take the subway for just 4 Yuan per person per trip. This hostel is run by a couple who are very nice and helpful. We felt very welcomed; the lady owner, Mdm Wong, even told us, ”If you get bullied by anyone in Harbin, call me. I will protect you.” 😀 Lastly, there's a gray cat in the hostel that our kids loved. She enjoys being petted a lot. The only thing I would like to mention is that some hidden areas, like under the bed and curtains, are dusty. I hope the owner can address this.
