Everything is very clean and tidy, definitely surprised by how good it look as a hostel when I first enter. I live how close my room is with the toilet and the shower room, also how they keep it sparkling clean. The position is also very convenient, very near to national museum, while just 15 minutes walk you will arrive the Charles bridge and the old town. Every tourist spot is in waling distance so no worries.

I fell in love with the view of the street from our window — it was truly lovely. The location is excellent, with easy access to the city centre by tram number 22. The tram stop is conveniently just across the street from the hostel. Overall, I definitely recommend staying here — and I’d happily come back next time I’m in Prague.

Dear sir
Upon check in I was denied check in and forced me to book separate room the reason better known to the receptionist
So I was forced to book room and they changed another 100 euro in addition to I have already paid to trip.com
And they thrown me to the fifth floor and no lift was working there
I at 68 was forced to climb all the fifth floor with my baggage
They told me that you can't stay at dormitory reason better known to them
Will I get any reply for my suffering

This hostel is the hotel with the best atmosphere I have stayed in Europe these few days. The front desk is very friendly and everyone who comes in will greet me. The bathroom and toilet here are independent. They are not in the room. The facilities are great. There are plugs, small lights and curtains at the head of the bed. Even if a girl lives alone, it will not be awkward, because there is enough privacy.

The location is excellent, 3 minutes from the nearest subway station and 1 minute from the tram station. But there are more beggars downstairs, and girls need to be careful when traveling alone. About 800 meters away from the old town, there are many restaurants downstairs, and there are also big supermarkets such as billa and tesco. The hotel has different social activities every day, and you can meet new friends. The equipment is also very complete, with a large kitchen, a mailbox and a computer. There is a fan in the room and the equipment is simple.

Hostel near Prague Castle. Since it is near Prague Castle, there are few tram stations and bus stops, and you need to walk, but it is very convenient for sightseeing. Prague itself is not a big town, so I wonder if it's enough on foot. It was nice that the room was large and there was plenty of space. I booked because I thought there was a curtain around the bed, but there was no curtain. The toilet and shower room were just outside the room and I could use it without worrying about my roommate even at midnight. I was usually worried about dirt and deterioration in the shower room, but I think that's what a hostel at this price would be like. There was a bathtub, but there was no plug and I couldn't use the bathtub. It was helpful to have luggage storage and towels free.

This hostel is located right next to Charles Bridge. I stayed in a dormitory. The room was comfortable, and the kitchen with a microwave, kettle, and refrigerator, and the bathroom were clean!
The only disappointing thing was that when I was relaxing in the bed I was shown, a person who had just returned from sightseeing got angry and said, ”That's my bed! Why are you sleeping there!?” I explained that the staff had just shown me to my bed, but they didn't seem to understand and we had a bit of a fight. I didn't want to sleep in someone else's bed either, but they got angry at me...I understand that it's a dormitory, so there are all kinds of things...But I explained the situation to the staff and they understood. I used up a lot of energy...
If it weren't for that, I think I would have a comfortable stay.

Where to start with plus Prague. Honestly I had a rollercoaster of a stay. With many positives and negatives. The main thing I’d say about plus is that it is definitely not the best hostel I’ve stayed in but in Prague it is by far the cheapest. This id the main positive. The location is a little out of the way firstly.
Also during my stay people attempted to rob me twice on two separate occasions. The first being in my room while I was sleeping , where reception moved me to a different room which was expected but helpful. Secondly about 5 minutes walk away from the hostel at around 6pm. These factors definitely leave my view a little tinted but that May of just been my personal experience.

Breakfast is relatively simple, but it is basically enough. There are no sausages or meat. The center is two or three kilometers away, right? The service staff is more enthusiastic, there is a kitchen on each floor, and you can cook by yourself, which is good

GGuest UserI chose this hostel because of its great location. Every night, we played drinking games in the old friend's space at the hostel, and the hostel also planned things like sightseeing tours, which I thought were very interesting. The only thing that bothered me was that there was no elevator and I had to climb a lot of stairs 😅

GGuest UserIt was way much better than I expected. Perhaps the best hostel experience (I'm not a fan of hostels to be honest) so far. Very friendly staff and room was nice and spacious, nice style. Would probably book again. 😸👍👍
GGuest Userwhat I liked:
recently renovated, clean.
friendly staff.
what I disliked:
there is no kitchen, you can not get even hot water.
there is no common area except cafe in the ground floor.
the room was pretty small
GGuest UserThe hotel is located near the central square, not far from the central station. There are restaurants such as McDonald's nearby, and you can walk to check-in locations such as the Astronomical Clock. It is not easy to find at the door of the hotel. You can navigate to the neighborhood and ask the surrounding residents.

GGuest UserOur stay here was mixed at best. We loved the location and felt the beds were comfy but the other guests at the hostel were a bit inconsiderate when we stayed and there is an opportunity to improve service and amenities.
We checked in late at the bar but the bartender was more keen on selling beer and we stood in line at the bar counter for about 10 minutes before he acknowledged us and while locals cut in the line in front of us. It took another 10 minutes for him to hand us the paperwork to check in. I was kind of disappointed because I filled in a pre check in before coming to Prague and the check in paperwork was asking for the details I had filled out online from their online check in sent over email. The bar is not a reception and it clearly says that in the communication sent but it would be nice to have the towels in our room so we could at least shower after a late check in.
We booked a private room with two twin beds and it was nice enough. It was one of the cheapest options in the city we could do when staying in Prague for New Year's Eve. The room had a couple of chairs and a couple of tables/desks. The wifi was decent and there were a number of plugins throughout the room which was nice. The beds and pillows were comfy and heat is provided through a radiator. There was one quilt for each bed which was enough for me but my wife was very cold and it is chilly in December. There are extra blankets at reception but that was closed so my wife wore her warm clothes to bed and used my sweater as a blanket. I would suggest in the winter months or for guests with late check in that they provide blankets and towels in the room for guests.
The toilets and bathrooms are shared. There were two toilets in our area labelled as room 1 and room 2 and it is unclear if the hostel had the intention that room 1 toilet be used by room 1 guests but both were left open and were mostly available during our stay. There was one shower on our floor and and it had a large towel warmer and some body wash/shampoo dispenser. We would recommend bringing your own bath products and some flip flops while staying here.
The boys renting the other room came in around 2:30 am and were not respectful of the quiet hours set between 23:00-6:00. The walls and doors here are pretty thin within the flat and the noise comes through easily. They used both toilets, peed on the seats and left them unflushed on more than one occasion during our stay. I had to go out to use the toilet our first night and that's when they said ”I don't think we are alone” and went into their room to keep talking. They came back drunk and loud each night during our stay but not as loud as the first night at least. They also may not have realized (or didn't care) that the shower room was shared and left their towels, toiletries and even their underwear on the towel rack during our stay. This group really took away our enjoyment of this property during our stay but otherwise it is a decent hostel in a good location. At least this group kept the kitchen clean and washed their own dishes.
There was a common area in our flat which had a kitchen and an exercise machine. The kitchen had a table with seating for four and enough cutlery and dishes to go around. It had a cooking stove/hob, fridge and kettle. They provide dish soap and cleaning cloths/sponges too.
Reception is open between 8 am and 10 am so we got the extra blankets my wife needed and towels for showering. The staff at reception were helpful and efficient during our stay. The daily cleaning was nice and the cleaning lady was very thorough with the flooring in the common area which was appreciated. You can also borrow hair dryers from here if needed to. They do collect a deposit for items borrowed like the keys but they didn't collect a deposit for the towels or blankets despite signage saying that they do.
The location of the hostel was fantastic. It was a short walk to major attractions in Prague like Charles Bridge an

GGuest UserLocation is great, but a big confusing to get to. The large sign outside of the building doesn’t actually say the hostel name (A plus). It says something else. The woman that checked me in and out was friendly and welcoming.
I stayed in a “private” room but the toilets and showers were still shared, which was one of the purposes of me getting a private room…. This wasn’t made clear before booking.
The floors were not cleaned, and my room was not cleaned in the second day (I stayed two nights). The toilets and showers were ok, but should be cleaned. When I was there, they weren’t “dirty”, but didn’t look like they’d been cleaned in quite a while.
The common area was just a bunch of tables and chairs and there wasn’t much socializing going on. When I walked in, there’s was one guy who was taking a nap. That was it. There is a cool old-school elevator that works from the first floor, which is fun.
Not sure why my room was as expensive as it was considering I could have stayed in an actual hotel for relatively the same price. Overall this wasn’t a bad place to stay, but definitely not worth the price.
