"Everything is fine except the cleaner doesn't know anything about PRIVACY. I suggest that any staff shouldn't enter every room they know are being occupied regardless of how short or how long a guest stays there. I suggest you put a double lock on your doors or a DON'T DISTURB sign to be hanged outside the door. I understand you need to clean the room, but please do it when your guest requested for it so you won't be disturbing someone who is resting or catching some sleep. I hate to say this but I'll say it anyway, you don't need to enter the room to remind your guests about check out time because obviously, THEY KNOW!!"

"Great location in ChungKing mansions. This has lots of hostels and around ten of them are run by the people who run manila hostel. If you like south asian food ChungKing mansions is ideal, as it has lots of restaurants on ground floor from south asia. There are some restaurants on first floor as well which few people check out. Also ChungKing mansion has lots of foreign exchange brokers who give the most over the counter competitive exchange rates for cash in Hong Kong. I stayed in the Germany hostel in room 629. I like this room despite it being very small as it has a view and easy to keep clean and nowhere for any cockroaches to hide. Occasionaly you might find one creeping into the hostel at night so keep a bathroom mat under door to keep them out. Hostel v. clean, cleaners do a good job, and staff friendly/helpful."

"As a frequent traveler to Hong Kong, I’d say this hostel is my top favorite as of the moment and we’re already planning to book again for our next year travel back to HK. Location-wise, it’s the best. Walking distance to the harbour, nearby malls like Silvercord, K11 Art Mall, Mira Mall, and Harbour City, surrounded by restaurants and fast food chains, a grocery in front, and two MTR exits (A1 with lift and escalators going up and down, and A2 with escalator going up and stairs). It is also few blocks away from Bakehouse (😆). In terms of room size for 3 pax, it’s livable and pretty spacious as compared to our room on the 9th floor last year 🤭 from the same building. We have 5 luggages - 2 carry ons and three medium check-in luggages, and yet there’s still space for the mini table and chair and we still have space to move inside the room. I love their big glass windows which give us the best view of Nathan Road. They also offer water refilling dispenser which is a big saver because bottled waters in HK are pretty expensive! Stayed here for 6 nights and got new towels everyday after the room has been cleaned, and bottled water replenishes. Rooms are clean and looks the same as advertised in the pictures. Only cons I would say is that the shower area doesn’t have a door or divider so water splashes everywhere and floor gets flooded, but still tolerable. I would also like to suggest having a microwave for food reheating. 😁 aside from that, everything you need is here. In terms of room rates, price is okay and expected for HK standard; still cheaper than booking a hotel room from known hotels in this location which would also require security deposit. As for this hostel, no need for security deposit. Thanks to Trip.com and was able to get an early bird rate for this room. For security concerns, the building has security personnels when you enter, CCTVs are working in elevators and specific areas, hostel floor is secured with passcode which can only be opened with guest keycards. Room security doors are also up-to-date or modern. I love it!! Kudos also to Filipina housekeepers for being so approachable, helpful and kind to us during our stay. While the boss is very hands on in reaching out in WeChat for any concerns and also provided guide around the area and tourist attractions. SUPER RECOMMENDED!!! Loved and enjoyed our stay. We already miss the view. See you again next year! 🩷"

"I put 4 in service although ehat I wanna review is the hinesty of the housekeeping. I left my pouch with koney, credit cards and IDs in the room and only realized it when Im already in the airport when I was aBout to board. Upon calling they said they have it in safekeeping so thumbs up in honesty there. Now about sevice the front desk was of little help when asked about uber taxi and semma like he did not know much about it. Not too keen in helping to. As for the space of the room it’s a little too tight and opening your luggage would be a challenge. Not ideal for family"

"Ken was a nice host. 2 things I did not like: 1. Cleanliness - night 1 I got bedbugs bites. I had the bedsheet replaced but still the same. please see picture. 2. Service (planning) - there was a notice for aircon maintenance and it was fine. What I hate was when I arrived 9pm after a full day of activities, the maintenance is still not done. I requested to be transferred to another room because it’s already late and I needed to rest since I would have an early start (6am) the following day and I was told that they don’t have other rooms since they are fully booked BUT I can get a refund and book another accommodation if I cannot wait for the maintenance to be completed. Imagine you would be told to look for a room in the missle of the night. They tried to apologize the next day by putting a trinket inside my room with a note of apology but the act was already done and was already inconvenienced. Again, the host is nice but what happened is something that can be prevented by not letting the room be booked if it’s scheduled for maintenance and that the room should also be sanitized and cleaned properly."

"Excellent for budget! I stayed for 2 nights, check in was fast & easy. Owner was well-prepare to assist GUEST Check out was also easy. . Room is great & Clean & Hot water Shower & Toilet is working well. Location is few meters from Tsim Sha Tsui MRT & Bus stop. Definitely recommend! Left lugguage after check out may not be so convenient due to no staff directly on this duty."

"The hotel was surprisingly clean! For the price, it’s worth it. Difficult to find it though, we wished the signs were clear. Make sure to get the door code to open it. From outside, it doesn’t look like a clean and safe place. However, when you are inside, the vibe is totally different. In one of the photos, I included the contact information of the owner so that you can get the door code in advance."

"The hotel is located in the bustling area of ​​Tsim Sha Tsui, with convenient dining, shopping and transportation. The Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station is downstairs and the bus stop is not far away. It takes only 5 minutes to walk to Victoria Harbour. The only drawback is that the room is too small and there is no separate shower room."

"Location wise, good. Very accessible to all: food, shopping, relaxation and transportation. But… The toilet is not working well. The receptionist is not so welcoming and accommodating. No customer service.hope. Hope they will improve their services next time."

"I had a really nice stay. The room was spotless and very well-maintained, which made it feel welcoming and comfortable. Everything was clean and organized, and I appreciated the attention to detail. Would definitely recommend!"
