"The location is super convenient, just 200 meters from Tsim Sha Tsui Station, making it easy to get to all the attractions in Hong Kong. The environment is nice, the room is clean, and there are no strange odors. The service is excellent; you can store your luggage before check-in. The room even has mainland China outlets, so you don't need to bring an adapter. Plus, there's a 7-Eleven right downstairs, which is really handy for grabbing essentials. It's my top choice for solo trips!"

Hotel near Tsim Sha Tsui and Kowloon West,Hong Kong
"Having stayed in countless hostels, this one in Hong Kong deserves high praise (those who understand the hostel concept will know the value of this statement). 1. Take the elevator to the 8th floor. There's a WeChat QR code on the wall; add them on WeChat and wait to check-in. If you're in a hurry, the Spring Hotel next door is also owned by the same landlady. There's a doorbell on the wall; ring it, and staff inside will assist you and lead you to check-in. They are warm, responsive, and efficient. 2. The double, triple, and quad rooms are on the 17th floor. The elevator only goes up to the 15th floor, so you'll need to walk up two flights of stairs to the top. 3. There's a rooftop terrace where you can bring your own food and drinks (for tea or meals), and even hang laundry. It's truly a quiet oasis amidst the hustle and bustle. 4. The quad room has an en-suite bathroom. The space is spacious and bright, with a window. Everything you need is provided, and every corner is clean, tidy, and well-maintained. You can tell a lot of effort goes into keeping it up."

CChiapanecoSimple and clean place to stay. Fantastic location in Kowloon, near everything on that side. Fantastic wifi. Comfortable beds with curtain. There is hot/cool drinking water. No common area. Guests are mostly mainland Chinese. Be aware of the check-in process before booking!! If you don't already have an active and unblocked WeChat account, I suggest you do not book here. - Host does not respond to Trip.com messaging. Only via WeChat (but not a WeChat account linked to the phone number in the booking confirmation) - To find the WeChat code for check-in, locate ”Tsimshatsui Mansion” on Google maps. When you arrive, find elevator #1 or #2 (see attached map), and go to the 8th floor. Other elevators won't access the room - only use those two elevators! - Once you reach the door, scan the WeChat code, send them a screenshot of your booking confirmation, and within a few minutes they'll send you the codes. (I've attached a picture of the WeChat code.) - Be advised that WeChat is incredibly difficult for many foreigners to set up. It's not a simple app like WhatsApp or Line. You often need to find a person with a mainland WeChat account (not a HK account) to authenticate you, though even that fails sometimes. Don't wait until you're at the door to try to make an account. - Without Wechat, I'm not sure if you can check-in. There was one non-Chinese guest who stood outside for a while trying to set up WeChat, until a kind neighbor happened to pass by and scanned the WeChat code for her. - Host could simply send the check-in codes via Trip.com messaging. It would make their life a lot easier and things incredibly better for non-Chinese guests. I recommend they change to doing this.

BbandabacksI wasn't sure what to expect with this hotel, but it was amazing for the price. The building is older, but the rooms are new and clean. I think they're partitioned out of bigger apartments, 7 to an apartment. It was so convenient for traveling around the city, right by Mong Kok subway station, and a bus station right at the door of the building. If you have a hard time remembering where it is (I walked right past the second day), just look for the circle K sign. There's a really nice mall right behind it (Langham Place), and a cheap vegetarian place just a block away, called Come Try Veggies. I'd definitely stay here again. We went to the Kowloon Walled City Park and the Eagles Nest Nature Trail, and the Star Ferry, all less than half an hour away by bus.

2206036****The Hanting Hotel on Mo Di Road No. 42 was such a pleasant surprise! The room was spotless, and the bedding felt great on the skin. It's located in a prime spot in Tsim Sha Tsui, super convenient to walk to the MTR station and very close to Harbour City for shopping. 🧡 The owner was incredibly warm and caring 🥰. They even personally cleaned the room, and the walls were wiped down perfectly. You could tell the bedding was changed daily, and the toiletries were all good quality products. It had all the essential amenities, and the value for money was absolutely amazing. Plus, the room even came with a universal adapter, so no need for your own! A definite must-stay when visiting Hong Kong! 🥖 It's quiet despite being in a bustling area, and there's a food street right downstairs. There's also a popular photo spot and a highly-rated coffee shop nearby 😜. The service was super efficient; check-in and check-out were a breeze. While the facilities are simple, they're perfectly adequate – a great choice for a short trip!

LLingchuanwangxianzhiThe place is quite clean and tidy, with good hygiene. The location is also very convenient, right above Mirador Mansion, which is close to Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station and many shopping centers. It's also very easy to find places to eat. The front desk staff are extremely polite! It's suitable for mainland compatriots.

MM2i2kx289****My first trip to Hong Kong, and I blindly picked this Maple Leaf Hostel on Trip.com – what a pleasant surprise! The price was incredibly affordable; getting accommodation at this rate in a prime location like Tsim Sha Tsui is such a steal. The room, typical for Hong Kong, was compact but impeccably clean and tidy, with every corner well-maintained and all essential facilities provided. It was very comfortable to stay in. The location is absolutely unbeatable, right in the bustling Tsim Sha Tsui area, super close to Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station – just a few minutes' walk. It's incredibly convenient whether you're going to Harbour City, Victoria Harbour, or taking the MTR to other attractions. Plus, there are plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. What truly stood out was the service. The staff were exceptionally friendly and patient, answering all my questions. It instantly eased the unfamiliarity of arriving in Hong Kong. Overall, it offers incredible value for money, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Hong Kong!

GGuest UserThe room was quite clean and tidy, very close to the subway station, just a hundred or two hundred meters away. It's quite convenient being in the city center, but space is at a premium, so the bathroom was a bit small, making it a little inconvenient to wash my hair. For this price, staying in the city center is acceptable. It's close to the bustling areas, making it super easy to find places to eat or go anywhere.

GGuest UserThe hotel is relatively old, located in the bustling Chungking Mansions. I booked it last minute during a holiday trip. The building is divided into Blocks A and B, and you have to queue for elevators, which are assigned for odd and even floors. It's very close to the Tsim Sha Tsui East MTR station. If you just need a place to sleep for one night, it's an option to consider. The owner is a Filipino-born Chinese person who runs over 10 different guesthouses. Downstairs, you'll find major brands like Sasa and Watsons, as well as shopping malls. The location is excellent, though the building itself is a bit basic.

Ppaolou27I had the opportunity to stay at this hotel, and while there were some notable highlights, there were also areas where improvement could be made. First and foremost, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any inquiries or needs. Their hospitality truly made our stay more pleasant. The location of the hotel is undoubtedly one of its best features. It's very accessible, with a bus stop right in front of the property and an MTR station just a few steps away. This strategic spot also placed us conveniently close to popular attractions like the Avenue of Stars and a variety of famous dining spots behind the hotel, such as Cheung Hing Kee and Bakehouse. As for the rooms, while they were kept impeccably clean with daily fresh towels and duvets, they were quite small. The bathrooms, in particular, are so compact that it’s impossible to stretch your arms fully inside. Despite the size, the hotel does an excellent job of maintaining cleanliness, with tidy hallways adding to the overall positive impression. Overall, this hotel is a good choice if you prioritize accessibility and cleanliness. However, if you need more spacious accommodations, you might want to consider other options.

GGuest user 1Hands down, the best place to stay in Hong Kong. Stayed at this hostel for over two weeks, in a couple of different rooms, and I was consistently impressed by how well the entire establishment is maintained. The overall upkeep and cleanliness are truly top-notch! I was there even during a very busy Chinese holiday, and the entire staff was exceptional—managing the rush with efficiency and a helpful attitude. A special mention must go to Sheri at the reception. Her dedication to guest satisfaction is remarkable; if you need assistance, she is the person to see. She has a wonderful talent for streamlining your stay and ensuring everything runs smoothly. I must add that my name is difficult for most to pronounce and despite the number of quests accomondated through the hostel she made sure to pronounce it correctly and remembered my name.  A true highlight of her remarkable and impeccable service! The staff also deserves praise for being just as helpful and attentive, always ready to assist with room checks or directions, no matter the hour! The rooms are well-equipped and spotless. I’ve included some pictures that show the overall cleanliness. My room came with two comfortable beds, clean sheets and towels, a fridge, and all the necessary toiletries - a fantastic experience overall!

KKittima P.The hotel is located in the Chunking Mansion building. The check-in area is on the 10th floor, Zone C. The rooms are spread across different zones, but luckily, I got a room on the same floor as the check-in area. The room is very small but clean. The bed is comfortable. It has a private bathroom with a water heater, soap, shampoo, towels, hair dryer and slippers provided. The elevator is quite small, and you might have to wait a bit. The first floor is rather busy, with various shops run by the Indian people. The location is convenient, right by the main road and close to the Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station.
