There are plenty of great restaurants around the hotel, and getting around is super convenient. It's also very close to the Mountain Resort, just a short walk away. "My child attends high school in Chengde, and whenever there's a monthly break, we always stay at this hotel. What I appreciate most is the self-service laundry room, which is great for washing my child's clothes. The front desk staff are also happy to help with laundry, and their service is incredibly warm and enthusiastic – definitely five stars. The hotel has its own restaurant, making dining very convenient, and the food tastes great. The surrounding environment is superb, very quiet, and the rooms have excellent soundproofing, which is perfect for my child to study. The room's cleanliness is impeccable, and the bed is very comfortable with just the right firmness. My child wasn't up for breakfast, so I got some for them – it was quite abundant, with freshly made noodles and a variety of drinks. Very comprehensive! Before checking out, the front desk even gave us two bottles of water. Overall, the environment, cleanliness, and service are all outstanding. See you next month!"

"The room was quite tidy overall, and they provided plenty of bottled water. They were very patient with the elderly guests and even wrote out a travel guide for them. There's a supermarket nearby, and it's not far from the Imperial Summer Resort. The mutton soup for breakfast was absolutely delicious and packed with ingredients!"

"The room was spacious and spotlessly clean, and the staff were incredibly warm and attentive. We stayed in an Executive King Room and were pleasantly surprised to receive two complimentary bath vouchers. After enjoying the bathing service, all the fatigue from our journey instantly melted away. In the evening, we dined at the hotel's Chinese restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, and the prices were very reasonable. We were extremely satisfied. Overall, our stay at Zhaofeng International Hotel was a perfect experience and truly added a wonderful touch to our trip to Chengde."

"Planned a trip to Chengde for May Day and booked a family room in advance – it was truly fantastic! The kids' room even had a rocking horse, which my child absolutely loved. The hotel itself is full of special sights, like the rooftop viewing platform and the waterside pavilion right at the entrance, both offering beautiful scenery. It's also incredibly convenient for visiting nearby attractions like the Mountain Resort. The front desk staff, especially the ladies, provided excellent service – we were very impressed!"

"The hotel's location is super convenient, really close to the Mountain Resort – just a few minutes' walk. The Erxianju Night Market is right downstairs too. It's clean, the service is friendly and enthusiastic, and breakfast offers a great variety. The only minor downside is that the window is a bit small, but everything else is perfect."

"New hotel, with spotless facilities and friendly staff. It's very close to the Chengde South Station, which is handy for high speed trains - though is a bus ride or taxi ride away from downtown Chengde and the Mountain Resort area. (Bus 29 takes you down there, but takes a while). Breakfast was good, and there are snacks in reception wheel you come back. The restaurant is only open in the morning - no bar/other facilities, but there are places to eat/shop nearby, though the area feels very new and developing. It was a great choice for me as I came in and out of Chengde South Station and I used the hotel as my base."

"Love this place ! Stayed 3 separate times. Once last year and twice this year. Nicest hotel so far in china I’ve been to. Honestly can’t beat this hotel for the price. I went before the 7 day holiday and during it. Was way more expensive during it but still amazing Modern, friendly, great bathrooms, customer service and an insane breakfast Wife mentioned we are repeat customers and they gave us free spa coupon which was great."
