"The Wi-Fi is poor, constantly dropping out, and there's no kettle or fridge in the room, which is certainly inconvenient in the heat. However, the location is good, the bed is comfortable, and the pool area is beautiful. I was lucky; there were almost no other guests, and the restaurant staff was very kind and provided hot water and dishes. There's no laundry! I'm not sure where this information came from, but there is a paid laundry literally 100 meters from the hotel."

"That was my garden view I booked, is that even a garden??. Didn’t have any slippers in my room & to have a robe it is a 1,000 MAD deposit? in all my travelling that is on unheard off to me. Should have stated that on there amenities. I’ve stayed at multiple 5 start hotels this was unheard of to me. Also if you want to bring in a McDonald’s forget about it the security will stop you from bringing it into the hotel. Not only me but other guest too was stopped. Should have these rules stated while booking to save us the embarrassment.
Other than that the stay there was amazing, breakfast amazing but was let down by the issues mentioned."

"Amaizing gem of a place. Profesional but friendly staff at every corner. The breakfast staff could not do enough for us and so were the reception staff, all of them were so attentive and friendly. The room cleaners left the bedroom spotless everyday.We had a Hammam massage to die for. The two masseurs were so good, that I have to give them 10 out of 10. I had a good few massages in my life, but NEVER one that can equal the one we had the other day. The Facials were 10 out of ten. Nothing absolutely nothing we can find fault with, the only thing I'm disappointed with is myself, as I can only remember the name of one member of staff Abderrahim the night receptionist, but they were many others both female and male that took so much pride in their job. We will definitely be back to definitely have another Hamman . Best hotel by far in the last 5 years. I'm sorry I cannot post more photos."

"I had a fantastic stay at this hotel near the Marrakesh main train station super convenient location. The service was excellent from start to finish. Breakfast was amazing with plenty of fresh options, and the dinner buffet offered an incredible variety of delicious dishes. NNatasha Audina SI love the ambience, the decor and above all, the service that this riad has given from the moment we arrived until we checked out. The staff member that greeted us was very helpful and informative, and there were two night shift members who were incredibly helpful arranging our early breakfast (because we had to leave super early) and accompanied us to show the safest way to the square at the crack of the dawn. Even when we got lost on our way to the riad, the staff member also picked us up and helped us with our belongings. I would definitely recommend this riad to friends or family who want to make a trip to Morocco, especially Marrakech!

GGuest UserI recently stayed at this hotel and had a disappointing experience with the front desk staff, specifically the two girls on duty during my check-in at 9 PM. Despite my reservation, I had to wait over 30 minutes for a room, which turned out to be different from the one I booked. Despite informing them of our anniversary, the staff's response was unhelpful. The initial room's view was changed without acknowledgment, and the alternative offered was worse. Only after speaking to the manager ( it's worth noting that the manager I spoke to was exceptionally friendly and understanding) did we receive a better room, but it still wasn't the one we booked. The lack of consideration for our special occasion made it a frustrating experience overall.

MMötley NüFCFirst off, the location was great, a lot of choice for breakfast, nice swimming pool and big/clean room. Most of the staff were actually very helpful, just the last night left a sour taste in my mouth.
I would highly recommend this hotel, but believe some staff should know better what other parts of the hotel were doing and how to speak to guests. Technically, a solo traveller, but my friend was staying in another room. Every day we were given 1 large complementary bottle or water and 2 small bottles.
However, on the final night, my friend received, but I didn’t. This was fine and I just politely mentioned it to reception. Bearing in mind there’s not many local shops to get water from, I was glad when I was told this would be rectified.
1 tiny bottle was left in my room, so I rang reception to explain, this is where things got a bit rude and I was surprised at having to ‘fight’ for a bottle of water - especially because this isn’t a cheap hotel. I was redirected to room service, who tried to charge me and then said it’s a housekeeping issue. Then spoke to reception again and then basically called me a liar when I said that I’d had free complimentary water every day.
The lack of water didn’t really bother me, it was that I was sent around in circles and then rudely told I was wrong, even when I pointed out that I’d received water 3-days in a row. After about an hour trying, and very very thirsty, housekeeping - who were very friendly btw - dropped off 4 small bottles of water. If it were a housekeeping issue, I could’ve been told this from the start and there wouldn’t have been an issue.
All that being said, I actually really enjoyed my stay at the hotel and in Marrakech itself.

However, do note that the address is not the actual address of the riad. I am travelling alone, and only booked this riad because it was right beside where my friends are staying. I only found out when I arrive that it is a 4-5mins walk from the actual address stated on trip.com. Which was very misleading and they should update the correct address. Kudos to the staff who was very nice to walk me out many times, as I prefer to have someone walk me in the early mornings, and at night. Provided water, and also very helpful and friendly.
Another issue I had was that I arranged an airport transport to pick me from the airport, and was told the driver will be carrying the hotel sign with my name. I could not find the driver and panicked, again because I was travelling alone. I had to call the riad to realise that the driver was not carrying the correct sign, but another name similar to Riad Dar Massai, and did not have my name on it. Which was honestly impossible for me to recognise which is my driver. The sign should be made clear to guest first time in Marrakesh to just show ”RIAD DAR MASSAI + name of guest”.
Finally, the aircon was great, but blankets were really thin. I know they provided extra blankets but I did not use it. So I am very cold at night.
Apart from the few drawbacks, it is overall a beautifully designed Riad, I actually really loved the interior architecture, and the rooms are clean and spacious, showers are hot and nice.

The riad itself is beautiful and tastefully decorated, but what truly made the stay exceptional were the people and their outstanding service. Dunya went above and beyond, helping me with my large luggage to the lobby and keeping my room spotless at all times. Farid prepared Moroccan tea for me on my first night on the rooftop and generously shared great restaurant recommendations. Nour, the director, and her sister greeted me with warm smiles every time they saw me and provided truly fantastic service.
They offered warm, genuine hospitality and consistently went the extra mile to make sure I was comfortable and well taken care of. I genuinely felt like a welcomed guest rather than a tourist. When I unfortunately had food poisoning on my second day and didn’t leave my room at all, they noticed and checked on me to make sure I was okay. That level of care meant so much to me. Lastly, the riad itself is literally just 2–4 minutes away from Jemaa el-Fnaa and the Medina, which made getting around incredibly easy. I would definitely come back again without hesitation. Thank you Riad Mama! I can’t recommend Riad Mama enough this is hospitality at its finest. The rooftop view facing Koutoubia mosque.

Mmskmr95624The interior is just as beautiful and colorful as pictured. I really appreciated the mineral water and the powerful hairdryer in the room. Breakfast was also incredibly delicious.
However, the area around the riad isn't the safest, and there are scammers lingering around offering directions. If you're a woman traveling alone, I'd advise being cautious when moving around. It's also quite a distance to various tourist attractions.
I also had a massage, which was excellent. Every staff member was very attentive and helpful.

AAnonymous UserIt was good for the price. Great location in Gueliz, very close to the shopping centre etc and easy to get to the medina either via bus or walking.
There was a bit of an inconsistency with breakfast. It’s bought over to you on a tray rather being a buffet. You’re not asked what you would like, it’s more of a get what you’re given sort of thing. Several times people I heard people being offered a pancake or given bread etc on other tables and I wasn’t. However, the pastries were really nice.
I went to sit outside by the pool on one occasion while waiting for my airport transfer, there were a total of 3 sun loungers but lots of tables for people coming in to eat at restaurant. Some men came in and sat at the tables, ordered a drink and were smoking; it’s not a massive area so it’s all you could smell and breathe in. The pool area is mostly in the shade.
The staff were very friendly and I was allowed to check in early. As a solo traveller was given a twin room rather than a double which was shown on the pictures when I booked as a ‘single’ room. It was fine though.
The air-con works well, the beds are comfy and it was quiet. I LOVED Marrakech!

BBellinisThe check-in process was good for customer service, but my room experience was terrible. I booked a superior suite, but I ended up with a regular room. I was informed that the person who was supposed to be in the room decided to stay another day. When I checked online, I found that the room was still available for reservation. The next day, when I asked to switch to my reserved room, I was told that it was booked again and that I should check back in line. Surprisingly, the same room was still available for reservation. I feel like they were scamming people by booking a suite at a higher price and then giving them a cheaper room.
The night crew member was very friendly and informed me that the manager was traveling. However, I don’t understand who is responsible for managing the website and ensuring that the correct room is posted when it’s available. I tried to contact them via phone and email, but nothing happened. I hope that Trip guide and the hotel will take responsibility for their actions and make sure that this doesn’t happen to other customers. I could have booked a different suite that had a similar aesthetic to what I was looking for, but I couldn’t even cancel the reservation. There should be a system in place for booking a specific room, and if the room is not available, the customer should receive an automatic refund. It’s their job to figure out when the room is available and what type of room it is. Additionally, the room had a bunch of knickknacks, and the table, wall, and bottom of the table were all chipped, cracked.

GGuest UserVery dissatisfied with the hotel's service. After I checked out, I found that my important medicine was forgotten in the hotel room. I called the hotel to help express it to Rabat.
