Chicago Hotels with Wi-Fi

For those attending conferences at the Chicago Convention Center, the hotel's location and environment are ideal (directly connected to the convention center), and it's also close to Chicago's Chinatown (a 15-minute walk). The hotel's breakfast is also good. However, the water temperature control in the shower in my room was very unreasonable, and even after calling a maintenance worker, the problem remained unresolved. Not being able to take a hot shower before the conference left me feeling listless all day, and I received no compensation from the front desk.

The key is: the difference between breakfast and no breakfast is almost enough to book a room without breakfast. The explanation given by the hotel is: the price with breakfast allows customers to cancel the reservation at any time a few hours before check-in, which only gives you the right to cancel the reservation. This is the only unpleasant point of the stay. I stayed for 5 nights and spent nearly 6,000 yuan to buy this breakfast. Although the solution provided by Ctrip is a drop in the bucket, it is more important to be in a good mood when you go out, so I just give up. I hope Ctrip can clearly state the terms and conditions in the product details in the future, and I also hope that the comments can help everyone~

I enjoyed the room It was comfortable and had a nice big tub and a big separate shower, that surprised us it was really nice. The restaurant downstairs had excellent food totally worth it!! I had the chicken parm it was absolutely delicious my husband had steak it was perfect! I would definitely recommend this hotel so much to do in walking distance also.

Located in the convenient and relatively quiet Loop area of downtown Chicago, it's ideal for guests seeking a good night's sleep. The lobby is grand and elegant, the rooms are spacious and tidy, the bedding is comfortable, and the bathroom design is outstanding – everything is exceptionally well-maintained. The executive lounge is another major highlight, offering high-standard dining options for both breakfast and evening meals.

The hotel's location is excellent, very close to all the city center attractions 👍. The bathroom has shampoo, shower gel, etc., and the body lotion smells quite nice. However, you'll need to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste. There's no free drinking water 💦; it costs $3 per bottle. If you're a Hilton Diamond 💎, Gold, or Silver member, you get two free bottles daily 🆓, but unfortunately, I'm just a regular Hilton member. It was a bit noisy at night 🌃, and I felt the window soundproofing wasn't very good.

Excellent location. The staff were very friendly. The only downside was the breakfast; even though it states you've booked breakfast, when you arrive, you only get credit to use at the restaurant, and the credit isn't enough for a full breakfast. Plus, they serve very few people at a time, so you have to wait to eat. On our last day, we had to wait an hour.

I really loved the room, it had a great American vibe. The location is in the city center, very convenient with subway and bus stations nearby, plus plenty of restaurants and coffee shops. The staff were very polite and proactively helpful. The only downside was the terrible Wi-Fi; it kept disconnecting, so I ended up using my own mobile data the whole time.

A very good hotel. Housekeeping was done daily, and it was very clean. The towels were pristine white, and the bed was comfortable, though I found the pillows a bit uncomfortable. Breakfast was a little pricey; they had fresh-cut fruit, but it wasn't very tasty. The lobby didn't offer 24-hour coffee, but the in-room coffee was pretty good.

Excellent location to downtown and nearby public transportation and the mag mile. Capacious room with excellent kitchenette extra guest and breakfast for two was a happy treat.

That said, they could definitely be communicated more clearly. It’s important to read the fine print when booking and during check-in. While the fees may not be obvious at first glance, the hotel is legally allowed to include them since they are technically disclosed. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with enough space to hang clothes. There were multiple hangers, and the locker-style closets matched the hotel’s sporty decor. The floor and bathroom were clean overall, though I did spot a spider in the corner of the shower—but nothing alarming. The downstairs common area includes an open kitchen with a communal fridge and even a crockpot, which was a nice surprise. There were also several games available, like ping pong and air hockey, which makes this place family- and couple-friendly. Guests are allowed to enjoy drinks provided in the kitchen. If you’re sensitive to noise, particularly trains, I recommend requesting a room farther down the hall on the first floor. Our room was in a quiet spot—I barely noticed the train, and when I did, it was more like soft white noise. Still, bringing earplugs might help if you’re a light sleeper. Overall, I recommend this hotel. It’s in a nice area, the decor is visually appealing, and the stay was enjoyable. Just be aware of a $120 refundable deposit (if no damage is done to the room) and an additional $50 guest fee. Knowing that ahead of time helps avoid surprises. I’m very grateful for the pleasant stay and would return again.
