Maria's Kan KIN

Maria’s Kan Kin was truly a gem that Lili the manager made super special. From the moment we arrived to when left we felt that there was something magical about it. The beach, the delicious breakfast at Kin Ha, the snorkeling it was just fantastic. Our super sweet bohemian room was just perfect for our stay. It had everything we needed. Make sure to get Lilli to arrange a golf cart rental for you-such a fun way To explore the island. We are already missing it there and can’t wait to go back and hopefully stay longer. Thank you so much Lili you are a gift!

This is a very nice place. The beach is great and the people are friendly. There are bars and restaurants within walking distance. Also there's a little store close by where you can get snacks and drinks. Lily who is the manager is a peach! She's sweet and so helpful! We loved our vacation there!

Beautiful beach with sand. Nice to have a pool! We liked the guacamole and ceviche. The service was not amazing, a little slow and spotty. Beers were cold, mixed drinks were okay. Otherwise a nice spot to stop, especially if you are on a golf cart and need to cool off.

Just really delightful stay. Staff was accommodating and friendly, beach is private and perfect. Very quiet but still accessible to everything.

First the good: Location. The bad: Everything else. We expect the items they advertise on ******* to be accurate. First, no working TV on our room, no hot water in the sink, VERY limited hot water in shower. We did without for the first 2 nights until we were moved to another room. Next, staff and their attitude. Since advertising a private beach, they had lounge chairs, umbrellas, etc. on the beach. The 1st day was fine with it all set up. The 2nd day, they had been removed the night before, and were not available. We asked the hotel manager to have someone set it up. Her response, “The restaurant staff takes care of that.” We looked for anyone in the restaurant staff to take care of it. All we could find was a bartender. When asked if someone could set up the chairs, he gave what must be a standard answer because we heard it a lot, “Ten minutes.” Another person asked the bartender if he could do it, “No, I’m just the bartender.” Next question was “Who and where is the person who will do it in ten minutes?” His answer, “No hablo inglés.“ So much for the staff. The electricity went out twice. The 1st time in the middle of the night for a few hours - no big deal. However, on our next to last day, it went out again. At first for the entire hotel. They partially restored it, but our room remained out, and dark for the rest of our stay. No one would have enjoyed our stay. We should receive compensation from ******* for their advertising such a dreadfully run facility.

beautiful small place with lovely helpful staff. well kept the terrain can be a bit difficult for those with difficulty walking steps and slopes highly reccomend

The staff are amazing. Friendly and always helpful. The private beach was a great place to relax and take in the beauty. I will definitely be back.

We had an amazing time, we usually stay at the hotels on the island but we were looking for a nice, secluded beach and we found so much more! Honestly it felt more like staying with the family because the property manager Lili is by far the best host we could ever ask for. She helped us before we even got there and was so warm and accommodating throughout our stay. She is the reason we will be back, we are so grateful for everything she did, the best! The beach was also amazing as we ventured around and most of the properties we visited on that side of the island were not swimmable due to sea grass and silt. Also the restaurant on site is really good!
