Hotels in Sultan Ahmed Mosque, Istanbul

I have been here at the hostel for a week. The service is very nice and they help where they can. I had a room change without problems and these are clean and relatively quietly located to a side street. The bakery faces one in the morning with the smell of fresh bread ;) However, no loud supply. Breakfast is nice, marmelade, honey, some vegetables and tea, water or coffee. It is worth mentioning that the staff members clean every day. Only in the bathroom is a hook to hang up and protect his stuff and cultural bags from wet :D

As a solo traveeler location is everything tp explore a night or two in old city. Just 3-4 mins walking to Topkapi & Hagia sophia/Blue mosque Lovely hidden entrace to cut off the hectic street (which is very nice for having privacy in touristy area) Nice room, clean, friendly & helpful staff Well decorated in ottoman style, I love it.

One of my favourite places is antique hostel, I traveled to seventeen countries and I can say this hostel is on my top 5 hostels among Europe and asia, the stuff is so nice and helpful, the place so clean and comfortable and the breakfast is very good, in addition it has two floors terrace so, I would definitely book here again and I strongly recommend it

What an absolute gorgeous hotel. You would never think that you were staying in the heart of Istanbul whilst staying at the Garden House Hotel. This hotel is ideally located close to the the blue mosque, grand bazaar (which is a unique experience to visit)and many more places of interest. The room that we stayed had a small balcony overlooking the pretty courtyard, the room was decorated in a traditional Turkish style and was spacious, very clean and the bed was super comfy. We had breakfast included with our stay which was lovely, with plenty to chose from. The staff at the hotel were really lovely, and helped us out when we had problems with getting our boarding passes, nothing was too much trouble for them. We decided that we wanted to go on a boat trip during our stay, the hotel offered us information on this and we booked half a day trip which was €50 each, I would highly recommend this trip as it’s a great way to see more of Istanbul, and really interesting. Overall I can’t recommend this hotel enough.

I’ve come here for a holiday and it’s been absolutely amazing! We came from London and the staff have been so welcoming towards me and my family, the staff have helped and been so kind towards us. The hotel photos look exactly like it does online and it is exactly the same and better, the hotel looks amazing on the exterior and interior. I would definitely recommend this hotel, the rooms are cleaned by the cleaner daily at a constant time and are left so nice. When coming the rooms are beatiful and are very well kept as well as the lobby in the hotel. All staff spoke English which was extremely helpful as it was easy to communicate, the staff including Kamuran, Emin as well as Ozan helped us get around the area and made the movement around the area easier for us. The hotel is placed around many restaurants and tourists attractions which can be accessible just by a walk these include the Grand Bazar, Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and more. The area is close by to a local pharmacy as well as supermarket to purchase your needs and wants. The area is also accessible to many shops for dupes and clothes and accessories. There is a train station around the area which can be used to go to different areas of Istanbul, for foreigners there are familiar restaurants like McDonalds, Subway and BugerKing for anyone who has children who are picky eaters or for anyone in general who wants some familiar food on their holiday however I will recommend trying the foods around the hotel. The hotel deal also comes in with a breakfast which can be accessed by the lift just as any floor in the hotel and the breakfast is incredible it consists of a variety of foods and fruits to start the day. If I were to come to Istanbul again I would definitely come to this hotel again and spend longer and I definitely recommend you come here! A little distraught, I wandered into the hotel and met the kindest fellow behind the desk. He patiently dealt with me and led me to my room with kindness and courtesy. It was so appreciated in a stressful situation. It was $80 USD, but I got a 5-star service experience. It is located close to 'the square' and includes all the basics. I was even given a little extra help with the luggage and extra send-off along my way. Highly recommended.

Located in the old town, this hotel is one of the best service and most hearty of the Turkish hotels, especially for breakfast. The front desk service was very good. Helped the bamboo and plum, helped guide the way, and the driver who had left the appointment was not picked up on time. They also helped to call. The next morning I went to the front desk and asked where I could buy a bus card. As a result, the hotel gave us a free visitor card for one day, which is too convenient! The room decoration is also very good, the only downside is that the room is really too small, probably because of the old block. The location of the hotel is very good, within walking distance from the Blue Mosque, tram station, etc., it is very convenient to go anywhere.

We stayed 5 nights at this hotel. The staff were nice and the hotel was very clean. It’s an old building that has recently been renovated. Our room was nice but was a bit on the small size. The shower in the bathroom was large and had two different shower heads which was nice. There is no elevator in the hotel. The queen size bed was comfortable. Wifi was good all the time we were there. Breakfast was included and it consisted of a typical Turkish breakfast but you could get an omelet or fried eggs if you wished. The breakfast was a bit sp****. There was air conditioning in the room but we didn’t use it. The location of the hotel is close to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and not far from the Bosphorus. If you aren’t a walker, this may not be a suitable hotel for you. I thought the charge for the 5 nights was pricier than it should have been for this hotel.

I stayed in Apple tree hotel in March 2022 with my family for 3 days and was very pleased with the hotel itself and its personnel, especially manager Ahmet. Ahmet, thank you for your extremely friendly and caring attitude both towards me and my 3 children! You are a great manager and I hope your chief knows that :) the downside of staying at the Apple tree hotel for our family was related to our 2 strollers for kids - the surrounding has a lot of ascents and descents and a lot of unexpected cars appear at each corner. So we needed to carry our 3-year-old twins all the time. But if you don't have to carry a small kid in a stroller, this hotel is perfect in terms of price and location. The main attractions are 10-15 minutes away, there are so many nice restaurants around and the price of stay is nothing in comparison to what you get. So, thank you for our great stay, and thank you, dear Ahmet, I'll always remember you as the kindest and the most helpful person I have met in Turkey.

Excellent location of the hotel! Near all the shrine of the old city: Aya Sofia, Blue Mosque, Bazilica Town, TOPKAPI Palace with the park, St. Irina, archaeological museum, near Bosphorus. Many delicious cafes, restaurants, sweets, carpets, clothing and ornaments, three stops by tram GRAND BAZAAR (7 minutes walk). Eat and dinner in cafes and restaurants where locals sit, even if it is a small cafe on 4 tables. It will be cozy and delicious.
